have the drop off location give some type of receipt to show you dropped off the equipment. Have a much better area to drop off equipment rather then an overgrown grass field behind a bar b que trailer, maybe with at least a sign to show this is a legit uhaul drop off area.

This must be an extremely marginal location for U-Haul. This type of location detracts from the class operation that U-Haul is building.

he was nice, but i was just sent there from the original pickup location which didn't have a truck for me, so he was a little confused at first. It was in a barber shop and he was busy cutting someones hair when i came in. took a while to get things moving, but eventually got everything squared away.

I would recommend the location. The gentleman was very nice and quickly got us on our way. However we requested a larger size truck and when we picked up we received a smaller one. I had to drive a 7 hour trip back to get the rest of my things. I called customer service and they were no help at all. My advice is if you make a reservation screen shot every page. When we dropped off our truck and told the lady what happened, she said that was not the first time she had heard that.

The gentleman who was suppose to meet me at the pick up location was not there at first, had to wait and then call the corporate Uhaul number. Then it took him a while to find the correct truck, as there was just a pile of random keys on a table. I had originally set my pick up at an actual U-Haul store, and wished they had kept it there as I needed to pick up boxes and supplies, so I had to make a second stop to get those. In general the pick up location was not ideal for me.

The manager was friendly eventually and helpful. He ended up having all the requested equipment but didn't seem to know we were coming at first. It took 20 minutes for him to show up from when we got there (as scheduled). Overall we got what we needed though

Left Largo, FL about 11am with Truck, and towing car on trailer. Original drop-off was to be 3515 North Monroe, but no one told me they were not open on Saturday afternoons. I arrived about 4:30pm I wanted to drop off the car trailer, and keep the truck another day. Called corporate 800#, They sounded like I was supposed to unload the car from the trailer, and disconnect the trailer myself. (and I was frustrated enough to possibly do just that. Ftinally, corporate person texted me to go to Tennessee location. Got to Tennessee location, and they said they were too full. to leave the car carrier trailer. They (Alex) contacted SOUTH Monroe. Got texted a new address to go to (third attempt to drop car trailer) 1936 South Monroe address was a Barber Shop, with U-Haul equipment parked in a lot around the other side of the block. A young man named Kevin helped me unload the car and drop the trailer. I congratulated him on his good driving and backing up. He said he doesn't even work for U-Haul, but for the Barber Shop. Anyway, dropped the car trailer on Saturday pm, about 6pm. Went back to 1621 South Monroe to drop the TRUCK off Sunday about 4pm, with a man called Fisher. THAT is where other U-haul equipment was visible and obvious from driving on Monroe Street.

This location is a barber shop, front door busted out then taped to cover up. Door was locked. When I turned the knob a man opened the door. Only person there. Truck I rented was only piece of U-Haul equipment there. This location is scary and a bad part of town. Truck was nasty inside. Driver door inside had liquid stains on the vinyl covering, smelled inside of terrible body odor. At 70mph front end shook terribly bad. I have used U-Haul many times and in many states. Never had an experience like this!

This uhaul rental location is in a barbershop- the agent greeted us immediatel, stopped the haircut he was doing and took care of us right away. He was very polite and the equipment was in good condition.

Stop ripping off customers. I was charged for mileage that I did not use. I travel from 408 Westwood Dr., 32304 to 2816 Joel Brown Dr., 32301 in Tallahassee, FL and was charged for 47.50 miles for a 7.5 miles trip. I was upset, angry, and frustrated at being charged five times for mileage that I did not use.

The site did not provide the moving blankets/pads, when we told the gentleman he said that he could not correct the issue. The gentleman was nice however he was not prepared to meet our needs as customers. We were still charged for the blankets.

The location was ok but it was 15 miles away from us. There were many locations much closer. The attendant was fine, knew what he was doing but the location was slightly difficult to find. Perhaps some signage would help.

You would be hurting your business to allow them to continue to be a rep. Before everything went south and the dealer dropped the auto transport I had to wait 20 minuets because the rep was not there. When he showed up he had zero sense of urgency and didn’t seem to think u haul was important. When we got out to the field where the equipment was kept there were empty alcohol bottles around the auto transport. I have pictures if you would like. If memory serves me correct the reps name was Chris. After he dropped the auto transport I waited over 2.5 hours before I solved the problem. This dealer was a full time barbershop and side project u-haul rental operation. Establishment was small with a questionable parking area. Difficult to navigate while pulling a trailer. Barber/dealer instructed me to drive trailer to grass lot one block over and drop it off beside other trailers parked beside building and he would check it in when he got the chance. So I did. Dirt /rock driveway to drop off u-haul in grass. Thank goodness it was high ground with good drainage on sunny day. In my opinion, not a good drop off location.

The building was a barbershop and the sign was on the ground and the person made us drive to another location and then charged us for going over the mile it also was located off a wooded and grass road behind a building not to maintain that the truck was very raggedy and shocked the whole ride there they gave me the worst truck they had on the lot I didn’t think I was going to make it to Tallahassee and I don’t think I should pay full price for that truck And I never met the employee he told us where to park the truck and leave the keys inside and I don’t understand that because they said they closed at 8pm and I got there at 5 something what a horrible location hopefully I will never have to rent a uhaul from either one of these locations

Unprofessional. He couldn't answer questions about the truck. I told him the information about the driver was not correct. He didn't pay attention or care. I hope I'm never in a position where I have to use them again because I'll go out my way to use someone else

The place that I picked it up from stored the truck in a field that was not mowed and had large ant piles in front of the trucks. This was a side business and it showed. I had to search for the furniture pads and they were wet and mildewed.If I had to use this center again I would cancel my reservation.

First, my reservation was for 9 a.m. At 8:38 a.m., I began calling the owner, Chris, who did not answer the business phone. I called for over an hour with no answer. The business had a closed sign on it. At approximately ____ Chris called me back and stated, "I had a late night last night and am a bit under the weather." I told him this was unacceptable as I had a reservation and am now an hour or more behind schedule. In the meantime, I was on the phone with customer service trying to find the next closest place as we were under a time schedule. Chris said he was on his way, and finally showed up at 10:45 a.m. With customer service on the phone, I was told to tell Chris he would have to compensate me for the inconvenience; however, he stated no, that was something uhaul would have to do. He charged me the full amount, I never received a contract to sign, as he did not have a printer. When we got to the field, not on the same property, where the trucks were he did not have an appliance dolly as I had reserved. He still charged me for this amount, but came me a the small truck dolly, which was an inconvenience in trying to move appliances. This is the worst experience I have ever had with uhaul and will probably use Penske in the future. Chris is working out of a barber shop with a small laptop in a high crime area.

I realized when I got to my move site I was shorted on the number of moving blankets I paid for. When I called, they said I could come back (across town) and get them. I told them I was starting the move and could they bring them to me since it was their mistake. They said it would be hours before someone could bring them. I told them I needed them sooner than that. I ask if they would go onto the U-haul site and show the correct number I got so I wouldn't be charged for the shortage when I dropped them off. He assured me he would do that, but also failed to follow through on that. The interior of the truck was dirty and sticky. I had to clean it. Some other issues with the pick-up location, but those were the main ones.

Dear U-Haul staff, I called Uhaul customer service line on the same day of rental (7/15/17) to let them know that I would return the truck on the same day in the evening. I dropped the truck and dropped the key in the key box at exactly 8 pm on the same day (7/15/2017). I took a picture at my mileage before I locked the truck. The time associated to that pic was my drop-off time. However, (1) the key collection time was noted in the late morning next day, just a little over 24 hours after my pick-up time. It was incorrect. There should a recorded call record regarding my heads-up call before the return on7/15. ** I was incorrectly charged with 2days of rental and insurance. (2) there was no trash in the truck but I am charged with 'cleaning charge'. (3) Please be advised if such complaints have been recurring on that location (not an official site) maybe the franchise needs re-reviewed. I felt uncomfortable when working with that person during pickup. Thank you and best regards, Chaowen Chen
