This location was hard to find,, did not open when they said they would be open, I only went here because they could not find equipment in Phoenix or Scottsdale,, so had to drive an hour out to get it here than an hour back just to get back to Scottsdale Very disappointed frustrated second time this has happened to me trying to get U-Haul equipment waiting for a manager to call me back to go over this. Very frustrated.

Dennis ZThere was nobody at this location. If i didnt have a jack with me, i would not have been able to hook up. We paid for blankets that were not included. Did all work over the phone with horrible connection. I will never do business with U-Haul again and will pass on my experience. Maria didn't seem to care that her business practice was unacceptable and was all for my writing a poor review. This must be the norm and she knows nothing will come of it.
Christine HUse a different vendor for your business. The guy who "helped" us was more than lackadaisical. I asked for a receipt and he said, "Maria is eating... if you wait 10-15 minutes, she will text you the receipt". I called UHaul main office & they got the ball rolling. I wanted a receipt to make sure I wouldn't get overcharged. Thanks to the main office, the receipt & a phone call came 5 hours later. Never again. Very poor service.
Jody ASo to start off, between Budget, Penske and Uhaul, Uhaul is the only brand that does not offer any kind of military discount to coincide with the most expensive prices of the three. Second, I had to do the drop off check in/turn in as no one was present during the operating hours of the Gila Bend, AZ facility. With that, it took over two weeks for Uhaul to finally check the vehicle in and close out the rental agreement. When they did, they tried to charge me for damage/missing equipment on a vehicle, tow dolly, and furniture pads that sat on the side of the road unsecured. As if the stress of moving my deceased parents property wasn’t enough, the last two weeks of dealing with Uhaul has been horrific.

Paul FI had to drive 100 miles to pick up the truck from where i live and then another 100 miles back home after having reserved the truck 30 days earlier. No one from U-haul would deliver the truck to my pick up location. Very poor service.I am very un happy with the service that I got.
David FW had to drive over 100 miles to pick up a truck. A bit much for an 80 year old who was going to move within the next few days. Reservation was made over a month in advance but U H would not make a commitment as to pick up location.

ELEANOR OI have to drive 3 hours round trip to pick up the size of truck I ordered, at a huge inconvenience. I was thankful I only had to drive as far as Gila Bend. Most grateful for that. The people there were very nice.

Jeff PNothing bad about this location except for the fact that my reservation was to pick up in Yuma. I had to drive 2 hours to pick up the trailer. I can't understand why, when I made the reservation and you took the reservation, that I couldn't pick the trailer up in Yuma. Terrible policy!
elizabeth kThe people were really nice but it was a third-party so it was very hard to get anything done the manager of the establishment in an up charge nurse for sometime we did not want to because the actual place of business couldn’t change anything because I said again it was a third-party so every time since it had to be done we had to call U-Haul we spent about two hours trying to get the U-Haul paperwork worked out we had to then drive two hours to get the U-Haul and drive two hours back plus they only gave us a 20% discount and it was almost $800 at the end of it and I have use Uhaul at least five other Times and I’ve never had to pay that price for one they just made me ill when we got back to Arkansas I called and talk to the lady to drop off my U-Haul and she said they were trying to give them away for a dollar a day.
Tiae EWhen dealing over the counter that the customer understands everything about the tractions before leaving. If there is any instruction for the customer that they are completely understood by them. Have someone who speaks and understands english well enough they can deal with your customers.
