The pick up process was terrible. Not very user friendly at all. After 20 mins of waiting to be verified online we called and were assisted by a U-Haul rep but overall the website was awful.

I booked a furniture dolly online, but this location does not have a furniture dolly. We were moving very heavy stuff and this caused a lot of extra work. I would have gone to another location for the dolly if I had known ahead of time.

The manager of the mechanic's shop where I picked up the trailer was friendly and knowledgeable about U-Haul, their contract and policies. My problem is that when we were checking out turn signals, lights , etc he was very untruthful. He told me all lights were working, but kept unplugging and replugging the connector to my truck, and when I asked him about it he stated all was fine. As we were pulling out of town in Florida (heading to Texas, 1250 mile s away) my wife noticed the 2 bottom lights on the trailer weren't working. Later, while on the interstate, we discovered that the trailer had no tail lights when turning on the truck's headlights. We traveled the entire distance, thru driving rain storms at times, where top speed was 20 mph. My wife had to stay right behind me because the trailer had no tail lights. When we returned the trailer in Mansfield, Texas, I told the guys about the problem, and they immediately Red Tagged the trailer, something the people at Venice Fl. location should have done. The people checked my truck connector and it was fine, or else I wouldn't be writing this letter, I would be having my truck repaired. The people at Zippy's in Arlington were very professional and I will rent from them again. I understand the problem was the people representing your company in Florida.

The 24/7 process was long and cumbersome. Also we needed an appliance dolly that we reserved but found out only on pickup that they are not available at 24/7 locations. It would have been nice to know this at reservation so we could ha e made other arrangements. Also we were still charged for dolly. Quite unhappy with the whole experience.

The rate was a couple hundred more than the same time one year prior. Also, when I made the reservation and picked up the truck, Venice was determined to be the drop off location. After picking up the truck, I received a text it was to be dropped off in Englewood. This was not acceptable due to location and not having anyone to pick me up from Englewood. I called your main number and the woman said he had to be Englewood or Sarasota. I explained my situation and she could not help me. I asked for a supervisor and she said one would call me the following day...no one called! I called a day or two later and a different woman was able to help by chaingiing the drop off location back to Venice. She was helpful. Both physical locations I visited were great!!!

If picking up a dolly at another facility you should be charged as picking it up at the same time as the truck instead of being charged as you are just renting the dolly. $139 charge verses $250 charge. We went out of our way to get this dolly and when I discovered what I was being charged I canceled the dolly and we drove the vehicle. This was not right and a inconvenience to the customer

I had major problems with the rep from north port in north port. u dont have enough space here to write it. they told me the day before i was to pick it up they didnt have one. this has been a nightmare and was very stressed ur rep in north port was to call rep in venice to give me a discount due to they never called them. he never told him about of the free day. north port wanted to give me an open trailer, which I didnt order to move furniture out of state. was told there was 2 orders for me. it goes on and on. I called to talk to this rep again and got pit on hold. I will NEVER rent from them again. [north port store]. they rep in venice was fantastic and very helpful to me. if it wasn't for them I would never rent from u again. if u want more information dont hesitate to call. 941 504 0651. I hope u can do better in the future. if I ever rent from u it will only be the rep in venice, fl. I dropped trailer on Saturday would appreciate any type of refund due to extreme problems with this rental.

The facility is great. Easy to access and easy to return. The process to pick up using the online app was just ok. It took well over 25 minutes to get the key mostly waiting for the online folks to get the process complete. It took 3 phone calls and much waiting until all went well. Overall, the process works and the facility is very clean and safe.

I’ve been renting a lot of pick up trucks from you guys lately and none of them are clean and as I said before they all smell like smoke. Your dealer at this particular location is a good guy and very friendly. However those GMC pickup trucks all seem to have the same Tapping and idling issues ??? Go with Dodge there Pentar V-6 is fantastic
