The app would not let us get the code for pickup. We only ended up here because our reservation got bumped THREE TIMES, and caused us over an hour and a half delay in our move. I was promised the morning of the move that the third location had the truck on site that morning, and when we got there to pick it up, she rented it to someone else. Overall experience has been a nightmare, not at the fault of the final pickup location of the truck.

I made a reservation for a counter pickup at my storage center. UHaul switched my reservation to the Southmoor location, and also to a self pick/dropoff. I had to use the app to do, once again, everything I did during my initial order. It tried to sell me equipment and insurance again on top of my order after I already included what I needed when I placed the order. On top of this, having the reservation in place for 3-4 days beforehand, you would think they would make sure to not have a giant advertisement sign sitting directly in front of the truck that's being rented out for the day, especially knowing it's NOW a self pickup order. I have physically impairments and cannot lift and move things, which is why I had movers. The tires were also low and the TPMS sensor display prevented even being able to see the mileage. I booked the truck for 14 miles, but when I entered that I had driven 14 miles on the self drop off form in the app, it stated "exceeding booking mileage will result in extra charges" but putting less than 6 didn't prompt this display. Overall horrible experience. I will not be making this mistake again.
Preston DOpen your door when there is a reservation to pick up, answer your phone when a customer is calling. I will never ever use this location or U-Haul again. It was the most horrible experience I’ve ever had. I feel like nothing was done or was corrected for me, also we returned the truck at 7 pm that same day and I was charged for that next day evidently she did not report us returning the truck. I don’t feel I was fully compensated for all the troubles we went through , took 2 hours to get the truck, my daughter was there at 9 am did not get the truck till after 11 am. This business gives u-Haul a bad reputation.
