I was not the driver to drop off the uHaul but i got their final billing which seemed a bit extreme. I know the unit was a bit late returning because of severe weather in the area and inability to unload the truck in a downpour. However, when I picked up the truck in Madison Heights they told me to refill the truck with gas to the original level which was 3/4's of a tank full and the drop off location charged me to fill the tank to the top...I'm contesting this charge and seeking a refund. Southside Motors were even told by my driver this as he had filled the tank to 3/4's right before returning the truck.

The furniture pads I requested were not in the truck. When I went back to the office to ask for them, the staff had locked the doors and “gone to lunch”. I called the number and spoke with someone at a different location who suggested I go to a different location to pickup my pads.
Matthew RCombination did not work on the lock box. There was nobody to speak to other than an AI assistant that wasn't helpful. I was not able get the keys and not able to move. Completely screwed up my weekend. I was charged for the move and was never able to use the truck. This is why I never use Uhaul.

DORTHY SThe drop location was fine and staff was great. The experience in getting there was not. This was a one-way rental, and we were given a number to call upon arrival to determine a drop point. The number we were given would not even make a connection. called several local U-Haul locations trying to find an answer. After calling at least 4 different numbers, being placed on hold several times, and speaking with no less than 6 different people, we were finally given a drop location. It was in the next town, 40 minutes away, because no one locally had any room. However, the staff there was friendly, helpful and efficient. And the person who finally found the solution was diligent and apologetic and we greatly appreciate her efforts on our behalf.
Bruce LSouthside Motors is a nice roomy location. They we’re friendly and I dropped the trailer off with no problems and I was on my way.
