I was supposed to pick up the trailer from Norton, VA. They called me the morning of the pick-up and said they didn't have any 5 by 8 trailers, even though I made a reservation a week before. they told me that the Castlewood location had trailers. This place was great. But, it added about 100 miles and 2 hours to my day. Not Good.elizabeth N.

I had called uhaul upon drop off and someone checked in the uhaul for me. Due to an error in the system I was informed later it hadn't been check in. I called the location first thing this morning and was told it would be checked in there for me. Whomever checked it in then decided they would select it only had 1/8 of a tank in fuel which is NOT true I was then charged an additional 50 dollars without being informedJoshua F.

The mobile reservation system is a little tedious, but I get why there is red tape. It may have went better if I had better cell service, but that's not UHaul's fault at all. Overall, price was about same as estimate and I didn't have issues, so I thank you greatly.Jeremy C.

I explained, on the phone the day after returning the truck, that there had been a slight oily substance when I picked it up. Employee was bullish trying to tell me I'd be charged extremely large amount on my debit card. This is unacceptable and this kind of customer service is atypical of lazy employees that don't want to do anything when they show up for work. When you allow a customer to reserve a truck at one location (Haysi, VA) two weeks in advance and the day before they pick up the truck they learn there is no truck at this location and have to drive 90 minutes to get one. Well that shotty customer service.Dennis H.
My contract number was 25186146. My pick up day was Sun 26 Aug but was changed by UHaul to pick up on the 25th instead. I was told I would receive a free day. I originally paid $100 for an additional day to return the truck on Mon 27 Aug, but that day was not needed and the truck was returned on Sun 26 Aug. I would like to have the $100 refunded back since the extra day was not needed or used. I am also not sure I received the free day because the prepaid charge was not changed. Drop off location looks like a poorly run scrap yard. The office was dark and smelled real bad and was extremely messy. Very little room to return vehicles due to all of the junk vehicles in the yard.Roger C.

Trying to contact this business with the only listed phone # was impossible-a recording kept coming on requesting a code. Could not speak to a person about drop off-very frustrating as it was over an hour drive away-wanted to be sure someone would be there to receive trailer. This location was an old building that now is used as a garage. Multiple cars are parked all over the area which made parking the truck I rented hard to park. The inside of the building was cluttered and messy. All in all I was able to complete the drop off.steve H.

We had two issues with this rental. The passenger side of the "moms attic" leaked on a box containing old family photos. The second issue was that the passenger side floor vent constantly blew hot air on the passengers feet thus causing a condition where the A/C couldn't be used on a 700 mile trip.JANET G.

I have had the worst experience with Uhaul. I drove 5 hours from Tennessee to Virginia to pick up a tow-dolly. I told the agent what type of truck that I was bringing and Uhaul Agent told me that my Truck would be sufficient. When I got to Virginia Uhaul, they only had one tow-dolly and one Uhaul truck on the entire lot. I then was told that my truck could not be used. I was not given any other option. I immediately filed a Claim. I had to rent a 14ft Uhaul and Tow Dolly and put Gas in the Uhaul Truck and my Truck. Thus making this an extremely costly trip for me. I will never recommend Uhaul and will share my horrific experience with everyone. I only asked Uhaul if they would reimburse the cost of the Uhaul and Gas for the Uhaul since their agent told me the wrong information. Uhaul refused to compensate for their mistake and told me that their are no guarantees after I'd driven 5 hours!!!!RUSHA L.
