Ryan OI don't know of any improvements that could be made. We have always had good results with the guys from Castlewood Virginia. The place that needs work is the facility in Hansonville Virginia. We called the number on the door and that person still to this day has not responded to my message.

Diana CU-Haul could have their employees trained better in the process of timely getting a vehicle reported officially stolen, it was in use for 3 days by the person whom stole it without a bolo and I had to find it and follow it until the police came and the person whom stole it walked away,. Because the leaser cannot report it stolen

Michele EDon’t trust the uhaul website to book equipment pickup. I booked a pickup 40 minutes closer to my house because they said what I wanted was available. I show up at my designated time Friday morning to pick up a car hauler only to find out there isn’t one there. Uhaul then routes me to this Castlewood location and I have to go way out of my way to pick a trailer up. Then the lady on the phone at uhaul told me after I was done with it I would have to take it all the way back to this same Castlewood location or it would cost me twice as much, even though I made a reservation for pickup/drop off in my home town. Moral of the story, their equipment is good and works as intended, their customer service is rude and their website booking system is junk.

Zack MSW Motors is fine. My overall experiance was horrible. My reservation was not recored. I had to scramble to get truck at last minute. I was sent to a location that was closed (DC Equipment Rental) I was forced to get truck 15 miles away...remotely...with bas cell service!!!!! Then I was charged extra milage.. I feel very strongly that I should be contacted to explain my experiance . It was VERY POOR!!

david DThis is not a rating for Southwest Motors. They were great. My original reservation was for 221 Overlook DR. Lebannon VA 24266. When I arrived to pick up my trailer I was told the owners changed 3 months ago and they no longer deal with U-Haul. So I had to contact U-Haul and set up a new location for pick-up. Major inconvenience. Only had 1 hour to get to new location before it closed. Extremely disappointed in U-Haul for accepting reservations for a site that no longer functions. Unlike most service providers these days, U-Haul is in the dark ages, and you will need to call to confirm your reservation, do not rely on the online reservation!
Craig TTrucks and trailers are tightly crowded together on this somewhat small lot. Maybe moving some vehicles around to allow for better access to the U-Haul equipment.

JEFFREY HTrailer wiring was faulty.lights went out at night on the interstate had to crawl under the trailer to find the shorts in the wiring. About 1 hour. Had to patch wires at 2 places

JANETTA SWe were driving down from Ohio and didn’t know that they closed at 2 o`clock, but I called and spoke with Charlie and explained the situation. He was very helpful and said he would stay until 3. We made it in time and everything went perfectly.

They called me the morning of the pick-up and said they didn't have any 5 by 8 trailers, even though I made a reservation a week before. they told me that the Castlewood location had trailers. This place was great. But, it added about 100 miles and 2 hours to my day. Not Good.

Marvin DI had called uhaul upon drop off and someone checked in the uhaul for me. Due to an error in the system I was informed later it hadn’t been check in. I called the location first thing this morning and was told it would be checked in there for me. Whomever checked it in then decided they would select it only had 1/8 of a tank in fuel which is NOT true I was then charged an additional 50 dollars without being informed

Carlotta BThe mobile reservation system is a little tedious, but I get why there is red tape. It may have went better if I had better cell service, but that's not UHaul's fault at all. Overall, price was about same as estimate and I didn't have issues, so I thank you greatly.
Jeremy CI explained, on the phone the day after returning the truck, that there had been a slight oily substance when I picked it up. Employee was bullish trying to tell me I'd be charged extremely large amount on my debit card. This is unacceptable and this kind of customer service is atypical of lazy employees that don't want to do anything when they show up for work. I also returned truck with fuel amount it had when I picked it up as I was instructed to do by the place we picked it up

Carlata BWhen you allow a customer to reserve a truck at one location (Haysi, VA) two weeks in advance and the day before they pick up the truck they learn there is no truck at this location and have to drive 90 minutes to get one. Well that shotty customer service.
Dennis HMy contract number was 25186146. My pick up day was Sun 26 Aug but was changed by UHaul to pick up on the 25th instead. I was told I would receive a free day. I originally paid $100 for an additional day to return the truck on Mon 27 Aug, but that day was not needed and the truck was returned on Sun 26 Aug. I would like to have the $100 refunded back since the extra day was not needed or used. I am also not sure I received the free day because the prepaid charge was not changed. Please contact me with the corrections. Thank you in advance.

Vienna MDrop off location looks like a poorly run scrap yard. The office was dark and smelled real bad and was extremely messy. Very little room to return vehicles due to all of the junk vehicles in the yard.
