Better communication!! We received a call about the trailer side not being available so they were gonna give us a bigger one for the price of the one we originally reserved. The woman at the front desk when my husband went to pick it up, didn't want to give the trailer up because she was unsure that it was okay with uhaul. Better communication between uhaul and the companies that rent them out would be a lot smoother and less frustrating.Anthony P.

the ramp on the truck was not properly installed, instead of pulling out and stopping so you could raise it and attach it to the bed, the ramp came all the way out falling completely to the ground (except for the part that hit my foot).Stanley N.

When I arrived to pick up my 5x8 trailer, there was no one available to hook it up. The only person working was a petite lady. Fortunately, 2 men arrived as customers and helped hook up the trailer!Mary H.

The â€œleasing agentâ€ can running out to the truck I was in...the truck that the website assigned to my contract, and was so rude. He insisted that the truck I was in was â€œnot dispatched on a 24hr pickupâ€ he said over and over. I finally had to tell him I do not speak â€œuhaulâ€ because he kept repeating it louder and louder. I tried to explain that I had already set it all up online and this was the truck assigned to my contract. I felt very threatened by his aggressive behavior. Had we not already started the move of my son's apartment I would have gone to another rental company. This was disgusting behavior. I felt like I should call the police. Once my husband got out of the car he seemed change his demeanor. Not sure what that was about. Nevertheless, this person is NOT PEOPLE friendly.Kili F.

Everything that was required to tow was not supplied and we had to pay for extra items just to use the equipment. None of this was mentioned on the website. Speaking of the website, at every turn it tried to have me pay for extra items I did not want. I could see how a less tech savvy person could fall victim to the plethora of extras it tried adding to my purchase. That's makes me not want to rent from uhaul again. The experience left a bad taste in my mouth like i was being nickel and dimed at every turn. Also the covered trailer did not have a crank to raise itself when attaching and detaching from the vehicle. The trailer is exceptionally heavy. I'm surprised people aren't injured while attempting to attach it.Kyle M.

Trailer/car hauler was the only issue and was not a huge deal. The chain anchor was broke and we replaced. One of the tie down straps was frayed and it kept coming loose. Otherwise all went well thanksConnie W.

Business hours aren't very flexible. I prefer to get an earlier start, and an 900 am opening time is not very flexible. Also, I was told that if a one way reservation comes in after I was given a confirmed order for a local use that it takes precedence over mine! Now, that may be in the fine print, which I missed, but kinda aggravated me on the rental. good thing it was close, or I would have cancelled the order.Matt B.

Your computer system was a disaster. It took 45 minutes for the csr to get the transaction thru the system. Multiple customers besides us were greatly inconvenienced and delayed judging by the line in the office. The local person was doing everything she could to get a solution. The problem was somewhere upstream of the local office.Noble P.

The woman administering the rental was great at her job and processes a wonderful personality! The only suggestion I'd have to maintain a slightly larger selection of trucks on site. However, I know this may be difficult in a smaller town. Keep in mind though, this location was the only one within 40 - 50 miles that was still in business and even had a truck. In other words, they are the only game in town so bulk-up a bit and take full advantage of the situation. Thank!Lawrence G.

Had problems with a rude customer service when I called the 1800 #. When I called the South wood Center Columbia location We had an awesome experience. The truck was not cleaned by the previous renters. We cleaned it before returning. That was the only downfall. Also the uhaul company wanted me to drive 20 miles out of the way to drop off the truck instead of where I picked up the truck. The staff at the South wood Center in Columbia were amazing! They made it a more pleasurable and no stress situation. Uhauls 1800 # and their $50 on them guarantee is a joke. I was treated with rude customer service on the phone and reservation was not available even though when I booked on line I got a confirmation saying it was confirmed. South wood in Columbia helped me get into a truck and gave 1000% better customer service and attitude than the corporate location.Amanda H.
