The way in which the auto hauler was parked too close to another trailer made it very difficult to get it out and in position to load and there was no additional staff there to help with that, it added a significant amount of time and energy to getting the transport loaded. As well the U-Haul system was down, so what should have been an easy precooked reservation ended up taking a lot of time as the employee had to do everything manually, so between those two things we got a very late start to our out of province drive. If it wasn’t for those 2 issues I would have given 5 stars because the young lady that was the only employee there was extremely helpful, competent and friendly.

BRANDON FReason for my No to the recommendation of the Location to a friend is because it's too remote and you spend much paying Uber or other means of transportation in over to get back to town after dropping the truck. There was no Personal when i brought the Truck back. But i only used the guideline from the virtual assistant

Brett BDidn't mention a locker in our location was not available. So we had to pay for our own locker even though you advertised it and was not mentioned when we rented a trailer.
Gina NThe truck had a dash light on that we had to keep hitting the reset button for every time we stopped. For the fuel tank. The back was completely filthy. I had to spend 2 hours mopping cleaning it out before we could use it. It had mouse droppings in it and sand and grit all over. It also had some sticky brown substance the length of the door. Will not recommend this to anyone. Not impressed with having to clean someone else’s mouse pooh and dirt. Signed the contract before looking inside. Not even a walk around with the attendant.

ERLING FNobody was at the office. It was a self pick up. The vehicle was dirty. The kick in the back box was very difficult to use. The fuel tank was half empty. The website was not user friendly.

HORST HGreat signage as to where to park, clean and workers came out to see us to invite us in to drop off key and get a printout.. we told them our experience and they apologized for others.. when we left they were going to go clean it but I had already done so. .. the truck itself was great except for the windshield wipers.. they had one in the truck that we had to change and the other we had to keep shaping it do that passenger could see out the window. Love the ramp idea it made it so easy and the 15 ft truck was easy to drive. .

PAMELA LThe attendees should have noted passenger door damage. They did not do check off walk around with customer. It's been a few years since Have needed such a rental, but passed rental always did a walk around and a checkoff sheet. I took photo's at pre-trip around the rental moving van. I washed unit on return,( was not washed when I picked up). When dropped off I informed attendant of door damage and showed pre-trip photo to him. Great vehicle, drives very nice. Lots of power, and very reasonable on fuel for hauling a load, van was 75% full. there is a rattle on the exhaust at times. Sounds like a loose heat shield or something. Recommend check on next service of unit. Thank you for your service providers.
DOUGLAS BReturned the truck on the day I was scheduled to return it, but later than the original scheduled time of 8:30 A.M. Although I had phoned uhaul before I left and told them I was told originally I could get an additional day as I had hired help to unload the truck at 9:30 that morning. I was told over the phone I could have an extra day. When I returned the truck the lady I talked to said I wasnt late as it wasnt due until the next morning at 8:30, indicating I did get the extra day. However, I was billed for extra miles. The place I was told to bring it to drop it off was 20 some miles north of Vernon, my destination. The miles I was apparently allotted did not take into account that the house I was going to was south of Vernon by an additional 8 miles, then the long drive to return it to another location. The extra charge was bogus.
JOHN MOverall the tow dolly was in great condition. The challenge is with the condition of the ratchet that tightened the wheel straps. Very rusty had difficulty releasing the rolled up straps. The ends of the straps were difficult to thread into the ratchet. It’s a good thing that I have experience with tow dolly’s. Also the booking agent did not advise me that extending lights to place on the vehicle being towed were required and NOT AVAILABLE through U-Haul. I knew I tequired them and anticipated renting them at time of pickup. Greatly impacted my day. Not happy!

Alexei PThe Ladies had the trailer out front for me, they were quick, kind, courteous & knowledgeable with check-in and hooking up my trailer rental. When I returned the trailer it went just as well. They know what they are doing and I have no knowledge of anything that could make it better.

I guess you don’t want to tell you how I really feel. The people at spall were good, however your online reservation system sucks it said I could pick up the trailer I wanted at spall but NO this is not true. Plus I was told they never had that trailer there, however when I dropped off the SMALLER trailer lo and behold there was TWO of the trailers I wanted sitting there !!!! Plus I was told even with a reservation if someone rented what I requested the day before my reservation the trailer wouldn’t even be there for me so what good is your reservation system ????? People place a reservation for the time they needed it and expect it to be there on that day. Overall I am very disappointed with U-haul and will not recommend your services to anyone and I will look for other options before I would ever consider U-haul again. Leanna NWe had to wait an extra day and travel an extra 102 km because the unit we had reserved for 2:00 pm pick up, wasn’t available on time. No compensation from U-Haul was offered. The team at Spall Storage was exceptional. And made efforts to find another unit near by, but nothing was available until the following day.

She tried, to guide me to back up to the beginning of the lane, I was able to back up better on my own. Would I recommend this location to a friend? The variables aren’t conducive for a smooth transition from being someone that needs service asap when the computer system may not be as reliable as it could be
Celina LThis truck was not well maintained. we didn't realize it upon loading, but it rain the whole drive and many of our items were ruined due to there being a hole in the floor boards. I am very displeased by this as it will cost a significant amount to replace some of my items
TAMARA BBigger lot more parking for trucks would be ideal. Was challenging but not impossible to park in designated area and keep lane clear. 26ft box truck a little challenging to parallel park. Somebody could damage doing this maneuver. Also, a better more updated U-Haul key drop box would be nice. Was challenging to find. It was not the traditional bright orange hard to miss kind, was a dull green mailbox in a weird spot, with a super old sign kind of near it.

MARK SPam was amazing to work with. I dealt with her 3 times during the work up to the rental dates and she went above and beyond to make my experience the best possible. She even called me on the eve of my rental dates to make sure I was good to go and had no issues. I called her at the tail end of my rental dates to make sure I was clear on where to park both units as they would be closed upon my return. Pam was amazing to work with from start to finish. You have a rock star in Pam at this location.!
Steven MEverything was fine with the pick up location. Unfortunately, the windshield wipers were coming apart so there was metal on glass pretty well immediately. We had to purchase and replace the wiper blades. Otherwise standard Uhaul pick-up.
