Didn't know the trailer leaked. The trailer had a some lights our and the hitch was mucked up.

My reservation was for La Crosse and it was moved last minute. I had made my mile calculation for that location and ended up being send to Sparta WI. When i retuned the truck I was charged 31 dollars for extra mileage and this was because of the extra miles to Sparta. This was not a planned extra charge.

I wanted a 15’ truck and had to take a 10’ truck and a 12’ trailer. I want a 15’ truck on our next trip on Thursday the 27th. We will need a ramp. Tim

Back in December I returned a truck to this location and it was not a pleasant experience. This time it was night and day difference. It was fast and convenient. The gentleman who checked in the truck was personable and knowledgeable. My anxiety about using this location again is now over and I will use them again.

I was charged twice and tried to explain to the employee and he wanted nothing to do with the situation. It really pissed me off, if I'm being honest. I called customer service and they were helpful. The store not so much!!

I wasn't told place closed at 5pm, meaning I had no help leaving the truck. It made me very anxious and uncomfortable

The guy went out with us to inspect the truck before we took it, which was nice. We took pictures of the truck return at night in the pouring rain. Hope you can see them. I know it's a wish, but a canopy over all the trucks would have been nice. Otherwise our move went well.

The person that helped us check out and start the return of the u-haul was awesome! I didn't catch his name, but he made the process easy to understand and was extremely kind. The person that took over when we were returning the u haul, was not so nice.

I am not happy that I had to drive 30 extra miles each way 60 miles in total to drop the trailer off. There was a uhaul place 5 miles fro where I was. I wasted gas and a hour of time not happy.

I knew nothing about renting a trailer but Sparta Hardware took care of everything for me from hooking the trailer up to my truck to unhooking it. All I had to do was drive.

Service was excellent! He was very knowledgeable on all aspects of renting and showing me how to hook the trailer up. I recently put a vehicle harness on my vehicle to haul the trailer. He tested it and it worked fine. First time hauling a trailer. Worked perfect. No swaying what so ever.

I always get great customer service from all the U-Haul representatives at the Sparta Hardware Inc store. We have rented a U-Haul from them many times in the past and most likely will do so again because of their customer service, helpful suggestions, willingness to do walk around inspections to ensure that the U-Haul equipment they rent out is in proper working conditions. One of the Best U-Haul rental locations I have ever rented from, U-Haul should give them bonuses.

The location itself more than met my standards and the guy who helped me was very helpful. However, uhaul made me drive the truck 30 miles back to the original pickup spot instead of letting me drop it off at the location in the city I moved to and I was charged for those 30 miles. Filed a claim and never heard back. Wild how a company that makes so much money will make a customer pay for the gas that they force you to use. Extremely unprofessional.

Picking up and dropping off the truck was great, the employee at Sparta Hardware was very knowledgeable and efficient. Unfortunately U-Haul’s reservation system is horrible. I reserved a truck online for a different city and the next day I received a text stating that there were no trucks available and they changed my reservation to a location that was an hour away from where I reserved it and I was told that I would need to pay the extra mileage. After a few phone calls I was able to locate this truck which was still 25 miles away from my original location which meant an extra 50 miles charged to me. But yet when I went back online I was still able to reserve a truck at my original location even though there were none available. Bait and switch which is illegal but they somehow get away with it. Again Sparta Hardware where I picked up the truck was excellent but U-Haul ‘s reservation system and customer service is so bad that I will not rent from U-Haul ever again.

This location saved the day after two failed attempts on the UHaul app and online "help" line . Total joke that ended up costing me twice as much in milage. Lacrosse office also useless.

Don’t lie to them and quote a price and then double it when the customer is picking up equipment. Go over with the customer any changes that might occur in pricing ahead of time.
