The Uhaul I originally requested was not available so, I was given a special offer of a 17' truck with unlimited mileage for $40 plus ins and tax... Got to the Uhaul place that I normally do business with and was told I needed to go to the location on 25th and Capehart Rd. Get there, had to wait because the attendant was indisposed...then he finally gets out and pulls up the order and reads the balance due of $129 and something...I am like wait a minute here...I then explain to him the deal that Ruth had quoted. Somehow my original order of one day turned into three days, the original was going to be dropped off in Lake Manawa IA. The attendant said no it will be returned here. He then calls the corporate office and speaks to Ruth, anyway Ruth then "fixes" it..."Not" still comes up with over we $100 so now my son (Joseph Allison) the driver gets on the phone. Finally we get somewhere. By the way do they inspect the trucks regularly? That truck was awful! We were barely hauling anything and it struggled. Then I received a text message confirming the order and it said returning to Lake Manawa, IA...yet another phone call to corporate and get the drop off location changed to Cashflow Billing in Bellevue, NE which was closer in the first place. Needless to say Cashflow Billing in Bellevue, NE is and will always be my go to place to rent in the future. Hardy with Anders automotive failed to produce inaccurate reports in regards to turning in the truck I reserved. I turn in the truck on time beforehand in between the the set date and time that was scheduled for turn in before facing extra charges. He failed to verify that I turned the truck in there for the following business week when he submitted the reports the system would charge my debit card for additional days of use when in fact I turned the truck in when it was due. My bank statement suffered a hefty charge on top of the charge that was actually due for extra use of mileage. Hardy is very nonchalant and dismissive of the habits to be inaccurate and Jen preparing information that puts the customer wallet at stake for hefty chargesISMAIL Z.
I answered No on the "clean and well maintained" in that the truck was covered in snow and ice, but there was no means of clearing it from the windshield.CRAIG E S.
Better communication between the U Haul rental site and the reservation office because I returned the truck the evening before it was due back the next morning before 9am. However, I received a call around 11am in the morning asking me if I would be returning the truck even though it was already returned.ROBERT H.

The truck had a dirty windshield, which made it hard to see, and I had to go to a gas station to clean it bc there wasn't any windshield wiper fluid .. but other than that the truck was great and I'm so thankful that I was able to get in such a time crunch..TANJA ANN M.

When I piked up the trailer, I had to hook it up. When I returned the trailer, I had to unhook it. When I went into the office to check out, I was told "your good to go"! Well, they did not check me out for another 4 hours which generated another day of rental. Had to call Corporate to get a refund. This is not what I would call your local neighborhood business!DENNIS W.

My reservation which I made 10 days earlier was not there when I showed up. After 15 minutes of scrambling, I was offered the next size up from my order at same price...this saved a poor rating to be average. Being bigger is not necessarily better given my confined pickup and delivery locations.Steven R.

Clerk could not assist when I dropped the truck off. Told me he would take care of it later and I would get emailed the receipt. I didn't like this response but place (gas station) was busy. I did get receipt later (which showed less gas by an 1/8 tank), so things worked out. But, leaving without receipt made me uncomfortable.David M.
The young person that waited on us was rude. He was talking to someone when we walked in.We waited about 5 mins. He finally acknowledged us and we told him that we needed to turn in a truck. He reached out his hand and said to just hand the key to him. We asked that he come out to verify the vehicle was okay and that the fuel level was good, because we had already stopped on the way to add fuel just one mile before we got to the drop off place. We also asked for a receipt to prove we had turned it in. He refused both. He said that he was busy with a customer and could not. However, he was clearly talking to a friend, as we had waited for about 5 mins. before he waited on us, and we could tell by the conversation that it was a friend. We later got a e-mail informing us that $8.61 was being charged to the card for fuel. This is wrong as we knew the level was correct which is why we asked for verification. I would never do business with this location again. We had rented a similar truck in August and had no problems with pick-up in Miss. or drop-off in Alabama. The Van ran great but the cracked windshield made it very difficult experience do to severe rain and it is right in the middle where it obstructs my view but i made it fine, i do love uhaul as a veteran it is a great serviceSHANE V.

The gas tank on the vehicle we rented was supposed to be FULL, but wasn't. We reported it to the cashier who said she'd note it and to fill it up to where it was when we took it (a couple of gallons low) and that it would be fine. So, we did. However, we were then charged more than $10 for not returning the vehicle with a full tank and had to call the 1-800 number in order to dispute the charge. It was eventually refunded, but what an unnecessary hassle for something that should have been handled by the rental location as we were told it would be.JOEL K.
This location made me hookup the trailer to my vehicle myself and I asked the Rep repeatedly and explained I've never hooked up a trailer to my vehicle from Uhaul and she was insistent that this is the way her property has always handled rental. I drove off from the site after attempting to hook it up on my own and the trailer came off the hitch as soon as I got onto the street. I had to go back and request the guy in the store help me properly hook this traer up to my vehicle. The gut came out and reattached the trailer onto my ball hitch and then i discovered I needed to twist the square down onto the ball hitch until it twist down anymore. This was the most stressful rental of my life and I am awaiting the Regional Manager contacting me to discuss this matter.Corey H.
There was no check in process for me when I dropped off the trailer on Sunday August 23rd, only that I should park the trailer by the others. No confirmation of check in was given until I received this final receipt today. That would have alleviated the need for Uhaul to call me several days later to check on when I was returning it... it was already returned ahead of schedule.Bruce M.

Although I said it was clean and well maintained, the windshield had a crack that ran right through the center off the windshield. The agent explained that a work order had bee put in for the repair, Covid was preventing a more timely response. The phone app for picking up the vehicle is pretty useless. I ended up going inside because the truck shown on the app was not the one I rented.Terry V.

Customer Service and manager of the Uhaul truck I picked it up at need to be on the same page about where to drop off the Uhaul after use of it, I was told two different things. Customer service told me I could drop the Uhaul off when done using it at any different location but the manager where I picked it up at told me I had to bring the Uhaul back at the original location where I picked it up at because it is his Uhaul truck.Morgan M.

I got a truck with 3/4 of a tank. I returned it 100% full. I saw a gas charge for 27 plus dollars and another 2 and some change on my catd. The truck got returned 2 hours early. I went back and ask for explanation. They told me to call customers service. I called customer service and I couldn't get through. Very disappointedJEAN R B.

Was told location didn't have a truck for me. When I told them I wanted the $50 reservation guarantee he conveniently 'found' a truck. It was filthy inside the truck cab and smelled worse. The location is a small gas station; inside is not set up for a rental transaction. They required me to pay there and would not use my online reservation method of payment. Also had to back out the 15' truck around parked vehicles and other UHaul trailers just to get out of the lot. Probably used half of the gas I used in total just trying to make that maneuver. Only reason I chose this location was it was basically next door to where I was moving. Do yourself a favor and do NOT use this location - pay for the extra mileage to use the Old Towne Bellevue location (2221 Main St, Bellevue, NE 68005). Much friendlier, cleaner, and so much better organized!Jerry P.

I signed up for a 5:30am truck pickup time. I arrived to the UHaul location & was checking in online. I was told on there site I was to unable to check in until the location opened at 7:00am. I arrived around 7:00am & told the employees what happened & how it should not allow people to sign up for pickup times online & not allow them to check out the truck. I was then informed that my 15' truck rental needed to still returned by 1130a.m (4 hours opposed to the 6 hours I planned for) because the next person renting was going out of town. I was willing to take the truck for the offered time. After trying to check the truck out to me, the employee then informed me the system wouldn't allow him to check it to me because it was less than the 6 hour minimum rental time (Since it had to be back by 1130) . So I had to settle for a 10' truck to be able to make sure I had adequate time for my duties. Overall, it was not a very pleasant experience.KELVIN N.

The vehicle itself performed well, pickup & checkout reasonably well. The problem I had was the vehicle was definitely not sanitized prior to me picking up & we are still in a pandemic. I picked the vehicle up the night before the trip and spent upwards of an hour cleaning interior. The van was full of pet hair which I'm allergic to, the windshield/glass was dirty inside/out & cup holders were full of drink residue from previous rentals. Additionally being a military family I was very disappointed U-Haul does not offer a military discount, which I asked for but was told no. I hope is helpful in improving operations and request it be sent up to the CEO of U-Haul for review and response. Thanks so very much & best regards. TJTerry K.
