My original scheduled U-Haul was changed the day before we were to pick it up, and we had to drive way out of our way to get it. The gentleman who helped us get our U-Haul at the gas station was very helpful. The links that were text to me were not working, and the program he used was not working either. After maybe 15 minutes we finally got things to go through. The whole ‘online only’ process was a giant hassle and I will not be using a U-Haul again.

PERRY JConvenient location near our home, efficient process to rent the truck we used. The combination of U-haul's web site and a friendly staff made this a very good experience. The truck itself was ready, clean and easy to drive. Good A/C too. Renting from U-haul was more cost effective than renting a truck for the home center. While their advertised cost is low, the clock would have been running while we made our purchase, drove home, unloaded and then a return trip.
