I checked in on line and of coarse there was no dolly. Had to turn around and go back. We had terrible storms for 4 days and we had to move between showers and it took 4 days. I tried to return the truck after hours but app wouldn't work. Drove to my daughter's house and fell asleep. Got woke up the next day by the police knocking at my daughter's door. My grandchildren where terrified and the police informed me that the uhaul store reported I gave them a bad credit card....WHAT???? I gave them the keys and called customer service and told them they no longer had permission to run my card. ....it was a bad card anyway right??? About 10 minutes later my card...you know the bad one.....was ran for over 600. I had the truck 5 days 1 of those due to the app not working and was charged for 6. They ran off and forgot the dolly so they charged me for lost equipment. I had just put $60 in the gas tank but they charged me another $80 for gas and mileage. I contacted customer service with no help so I went to the police station and showed them my bank statement and they asked me if I wanted to file a complaint because uhaul had filed a false report on me. I am going to see that they pay for scaring my grand children and embarrassing me and my daughter by having the police at her house for no reason. I drove 25 miles to return the dolly they left behind and I still haven't been given credit. These ppl are dishonest and once they have your credit card will charge anything they want. One problem with several U-Haul locations in Evansville Indiana. No one had a utility dolly I had to go to multiple locations to get a utility dolly. I will be renting the same size truck and will need a utility dolly it is my hope in July that I will not have the same issue. Also when I made this reservation the reservation was made for Riverside Drive under my name. I'm not sure how it was placed under my daughters account and also moved to Saint Josephs Avenue. There is an issue at U-Haul with customer service taking reservations correctly.Felicia S.

We rented the truck at a dealer less than 5 miles from us, then we were notified that we had to pick up the truck at another dealer 20 miles away. At that time, we were told we could drop off the truck at the original dealer closest to us which made things a lot easier. Then we got an email saying we had to take the truck back to dealer that was 20 miles away. So we ended up having a 40 mile round trip added instead of the less than 10 miles we should have had.Michael S.

Got 45 minutes of the road , stoped to get Gas Someone told me Wheel bearing was going out making noise , so I took to nearest Uhaul and called , told them I was leaving their , knowing it was not another car Hauler close . There were supposed to be 12 furniture pads and an appliance dolly. Very bad experience with the on line check in. Had it not been for Johnny at the Riverside location I don't believe I would have been able to have checked the truck out. Very disappointing experience.Jeff S.
The hours were a little tough to work with. They close at 330 but I work right down the street and made my appointment. The trailer was ready and in good condition. Pulled great and would definitely rent again from them and U haul.Jeremy M.

Very great folks. I dropped off here last time as well and plan to drop off my truck here again when I take my final load to Evansville. I don't know why they were not showing that I don't get a deposit back when my phone was telling me I would get $100 back, but I'm sure that was on the end of U-haul corporate. I'm about to get on the phone again and get that sorted out. I usually have no problems with U-haul, but this time the whole experience was a nightmare train wreck from hell, but the Speedy Oiler folks helped to make it a pleasant ending. I just have to keep calling U-haul to find out when I am getting my deposit back and how it's comingChristopher W.

Could not complete return after hours because I could not submit photo , it would never go through. Spent an hour trying. Left it and returned in the morning and they said all was OK. For those of us who like to follow procedures it was a nightmare!Susie W.
Staff was rude and was irritated that they had to help us with the uhaul pickup reservation . The employee said, â€œit wasn't his job to help with the uhaul reservation, and he was doing us a favor by helping us and he didn't have to help us if he didn't want to.Christopher F.
I had a little trouble with the app and drove to a near by u haul site on Riverside where they gave me the correct 1-800 # and explained the process. The only thing on the business of it is that they seem to put the key in the wrong box. When I scheduled the truck I was not sure what to expect and at a last minute call and busy traffic's noise I was unsure but happy to get a truck. The truck was so clean and great and I was able to drop off while business was still open and that was so quick and easy and the attendant was very polite and nice. Uhaul has to quit overbooking equipment. Great person from Memphis on the customer service phone number able to get me set up for a reservation made 6 weeks before the need date. High marks for the franchisees. Terrible marks for uhaul corporate. Also the online/phone based pickup and drop off is a joke. Had to go inside to do the transaction. Bad marks for corporate and their system.John L.

Explain that a person needs to complete the check in process BEFORE they get out of truck and turn keys in. Employee WAS really good about telling me 2 or 3 times about going to link he sent to my phone to complete or would be a charge. My issue came in here. I have learned through life take a picture of gas and odometer gauge. When I returned truck and parked, I took a picture of those 2 things. I turned keys in the night drop box. Got in my car and went to the link. Then found out I had to be sitting in the teuck while filling out the website to take pic at that exact time. I could not attach the pic I took (the one with the return gas and idometer reading). I caused a scratch in the uhaul. I took pics if it at the time. But no way to attach it to the link. So tell people to go to the link as soon as they park truck and stay in truck to complete it as you can not attach photos from your phone if the gas and odometer and of any incidents to the truck. Especially for people turning truck in after hours. Once they drop that key, they can not complete the turn in process. Will yall please not charge me the fee for not checking the truck in on the link because of this? Yall should make it whereas people can attach photos to the link like I was trying to do and thought I could. That would have made it possible for me to do the check in on link. Until yall able to make that happen please tell people if my situation and to go to kink BEFORE they drop that key, because you cant attach a pic to link. Thank you.Lavinia R.

Did not receive my utility dolly and still got charged for it. Very disappointed that I got charged for 3 days when I only had it for two days but I didn't return it on time but paid for 4 days I had it two hours after the time I picked it up but still am being charged for a 3 day rental period. The whole Uhaul experience was awful. From the apathetic attitude of the employees to making me drive out of the way to scam me for billable miles. I will never use Uhaul again...JUSTIN P.

I reserved a trailer for pick up at 1200 E. Riverside Dr. in Evansville, IN. My email confirmation for reservation #26771144 said pick up at 1200 E Riverside. When I went to pick it up, the lady said the trailer I reserved was on St. Joe Ave (Evansville). She was no help at all. I showed her my email with the Riverside Dr confirmation & she kept saying mine was on St. Joe. I wasn't sure if there was more than one on St. Joe. When I asked if it was the one at 2920 N St. Joe she said "I don't know". Absolutely no help at all. I then had to rush to the one on St. Joe because it closed at 4:00 & it was 3:30. The gentleman at the St. Joe location was very friendly & helpful.Joshua W.
The store on Riverside and 41 told my daughter they had plenty of vehicles. I get there at 9am. I'm told there are none available, while I see at least 12 vehicles in the yard. They invoice me for $19.95 and send me to another location. I pick up and use vehicle for about 2hours, 34 miles. I noticed my card was charged $63! At neither location was a mileage charge ever discussed with me. The mileage charge should be clarified.john H.
