James AGreat service from a friendly and knowledgeable owner. We were not pleased with the owner at the UHAUL on Hwy 306 at Potters Creek. We spoke to him about a 26ft. truck and he said to show up the next morning, no need to rent online. Next morning, we arrived and were told by an associate that he was closed for the whole day. It really put us back and we will not forget this...

BRIAN BThe parking brake wasn't set as the instructions say to do. Also, I couldn't upload pictures of the truck using the link provided. There were no furniture pads to rent and looks like nothing else as the location is a convenience store. I don't do recommendations as I am not in sales.

GLENN MThis store location had absolutely no clue what they were doing. When I went to pick up the truck, they told me they needed a $200 deposit for me to get the truck. I had the full payment for the rental. And they told me they wouldn’t accept it without the deposit! Eventually they said I didn’t have to pay the deposit, then gave me a hard time over using my chime or cashapp card. I couldn’t believe it. It took over two hours just to pick up the truck. I want my money back or a partial refund for the issues at pickup.

MICHAEL MI reserved a trailer on-line for return next day. My schedule changed and I needed to rent one-way. I called Jim to see if a problem. He said we will adjust when you come to pick-up. Jim attempted to call me the next day to tell me he could only do rouud-trip with that trailer, but did not leave a message. When I came in to pick-up, he informed me about the trailer, forcing me to rent a more expensive trailer that I did not need. I asked him why he did not leave a phone message and he told me he does not leave messages. I told him that was unprofessional and a poor way to conduct business.
KENNETH MRandomly would disengage from drive…while driving. Quite a fight to lock the shifter into reverse and drive. One time it popped out of drive on a steep incline crossing into the Green Mountains and refused to go into drive. Had to change lanes on a mountain pass to get to the emergency lane with the transmission in neutral. I don’t blame the location for this, it is one trip equipment but I would expect a thorough review of the equipment prior to putting it on a 2400 mile trek.
JOSHUA GLet customers know to go in front door and not back door where all U-Haul trucks and equipment are. Maybe put a sign directing customers to front door

MICHAEL BNo information, no indication where to drop, no signs for who or where to make inquiry. Absolutely no help except the person behind the register(eventually found) who did not ID as having any UHAUL affiliation said to just drop it outside. No assistance or help. I would say this is only useful as a drop off point AT BEST.
RICHARD PAs always Jim is the bomb!!!! I didn’t have a hitch pin for my receiver hitch to hook up the rental trailer. Jim went out of his way and lend me one from his own. Since I’ve been renting trailers from him he has always been helpful and has exemplified great customer service. As always thank you Jim!!!!

William WU-Haul on-line reservation system was a pleasant surprise! Very easy to use and changing pick up day and time worked well. No problems with the rental location. I support small businesses whenever I can.
WILLIAM JTruck was in very good condition. The area manager was onsite because I had to change pickup locations when the truck at the original location got stuck in the mud. The area manager resolved my issue with the original rental location, but I was still delayed several hours.

Dennis BNo signage to show which of the 10+ storefronts on the property is the U-haul store. “Jim” was grumpy and crotchety to deal with and made it clear that I was interrupting his day by having to help me complete my contract since I couldn’t do it all on the app this time. Never again will we rent from this place! I’m not just a one time renter, I’ve had 4+ rentals the past month alone.

Walter HHard to find office since hidden in a gas station with no signs - also when I booked the trip online it said 80 miles then when I got there it changed to 62 so I got charged extra since I needed the 80 very dissatisfied

Trevor SThe gentleman who helped me at this location was a sarcastic prick. Wouldn’t answer the questions I had and wanted to give me sarcastic answers over the phone and in person. When I did arrive, he scoffed and continued to walk to the soda fountain and fill up his drink, then walked back very slowly to help me. Acted very inconvenienced by my business. Would not recommend if this employee is working.

Richard HThey charged me $246. The guy didn’t come out to inspect it but I get it he was the only one there. I asked if I needed to do anything since they were not expecting the drop. He said no that he’d just check it in. I didn’t get a phone call or anything to explain the charge. Called 4 times. No one picked up. So I have to try to call again tomorrow to ask what that charge is for or go up there and figure it out. The trailer was not damaged in my possession. So it has just caused stress that could have been avoided with an initial phone call and would probably already been explained and resolved.

Barbara THad the old style hitch and was warned that it could malfunction and come off the ball even after tightened. Lights occasionally worked
