The inside of the cargo area of the truck was wet and muddy. The passenger area of the truck also had mud in it, along with some trash. We had to clean the cargo area before putting anything inside, which was a real pain.Ann J.

Employee was extremely rude I was charged twice she called being very rude when I first got there to rent a truck she never wiped anything in the vechicle not at all I went over my rental time she called me and said where's my truck being rude I will never rent from this location I would never recommend this location I still haven't received a detailed copy of my bill or receipt I need someone to call me back immediatelyRAKELL H.
The online check in does not work good. Too many steps to do. Not everyone has a cell phone also. No body working in the office to help you check in. What if you don't have a cell phone. Very poor service at this locationEvette R.
Clean up the trucks inside and out. Sweep out and mop cargo area. Disinfect the passenger area to keep germs and viruses from spreading. Make sure other customers clean their trash and personal items out.Beverly M.
I had the worse encounter with the store manager. She was extremely rude.. she cussed at me asking me if I could read the handwritten note on the door. I can't believe someone hired her. She need to be fired asap.. I reported her.Alisa G.

The truck I had initially reserved for my move had a flat tire when I arrived at the location to pick it up. The employee at Spring Grove Self Storage was extremely helpful and was able to arrange a new truck for my move. I would certainly go here again!Naomi G.

The man working the front desk was nice and friendly. The truck was trash. The cab was dirty wth crumbs and dash was sticky. The back was dirty with debris. I didn't know the back was so gross until i arrived at the place to pick up my new furniture and had no choice but to put it in there since i don't carry a broom around with me. Cost 75$ for the 2 hour i had the truck. I think at the very least, during a pandemic, it should be cleanBradley B.

The app and self checkin is a disaster. I had to wait in the rain for 15 mins before my checkin was approved. The app doesn't approve pictures, no matter what angle it is. All of the process could have been completed before hand, but there was no intimation. Terrible terrible experience.Sauradeep B.

This was the best experience I have ever had renting a van/truck! The rental process was clear and organized. Spring Grove Storage was easy to find, and the check-in/check-out by phone was so easy! The van was very clean, and easy to drive. The smooth and easy rental process made a hard day easier. I will send my friends. Thank you! Reserved a 15' box truck only to arrive and found out it wasn't available. I only had four hours to get what I needed done and my son's were home to help with the heavy lifting so it was the only day I could do it. Ending up having to rent the smaller 10' truck and making to loads to get it all done. It would have been nice to know it wasn't available before I arrived.Rick H.

Customer Service agent was exemplary. She was professional, knowledgeable and efficient. In my opinion, your advertising is just shy of fraudulent. I had 25 Christmas wreaths to deliver to the Cancer Center. I felt a $19.95, would be an economical way to do that. Long story short, $19.95 turned out to be $68.! I'm 77 years old and lived on a fixed income, no discount, nothing, then I couldn't use my debit card which is how I'd planned pay. I won't use U Haul again. I am not rating the Spring Grove location poorly, but rather the Northgate location on Colerain Ave instead. I was originally supposed to pick my truck up at the Northgate location, but found upon my arrival (after an hours drive to get there) my one way rental was not available because it was not dropped off from a previous renter the night before. I was NOT informed ahead of time and when I expressed my discontent, the attended I was dealing with who turned out to be the owner of this location expressed ZERO empathy or care. I believe the comment was something along the lines of "it happens sometimes and there is nothing we can do about it". While he did help to resolve the issue by calling and securing another truck at the Spring Grove location, it was not for lack of concern for the situation. Terrible customer service at best. Upon my arrival at Spring Grove, the attendant was very helpful and courteous and provided a great customer experience.David S.

I initially made a reservation on July 12 to move on July 30. I then received a call from a uhaul representative on July 29 around 7pm, informing me that so was unable to have a moving truck on July 30 because there are no uhauls available within 100 miles, which was a lie by the way. So I called around and spoke to a uhaul rep who supposedly booked me for a uhaul 24 hour uhaul rental starting at 12am at the spring grove location. Once I paid for my uhaul upon arrival, I was informed the truck was due back in 6 hours and I could not extend it because someone else was getting it at 7:30 am that day. I am highly upset with uhaul and feel like I have been bamboozled. Terrible experience.Candice K.
The vehicle was not at the location at the specified pick up time. Waited 40 minutes for the previous renter to arrive and return the truck. I understand that some things are out of the control of the staff at the location, but the lady I was dealing with was rude and basically said not my problem. The gentlemen who was working with her was much more friendly and apologetic. Dealing with this lady was maddening! I politely said that we had movers reserved through U-HAUL at the site, she shrugged and rudely replied, â€œSoâ€¦. What do you want me to do about that?â€ I said, well we only have them for 2 hours and we arranged them through U-HAUL. She said, â€œwe don't have anything to do with that, we just rent the trucksâ€ I asked her if I should call U-HAUL and she flippantly said, â€œSure, go ahead.â€ Additionally, we had hired the movers through U-HAUL for the minimum 2 hours. They finished packing the one bedroom apt in 50 minutes and refused to drive the 15 minutes and unload at the new apartment as agreed upon when we booked the service. The head mover kept saying we still have another job to do, we're not going. We asked if we would be refunded and he said there's a two hour minimum. We said â€œyes, and that's all we want is to get the two hours we paid for.â€ So frustrating!!! Terrible experience!!!! Would never book through U-HAUL. I know they are third party movers, but certainly not vetted and they represent the U-HAUL brand. I usually don't write reviews, but this was such a horrible experience all around, I felt compelled!JOSEPH S.

Upon arrival at 9 am sharp, there was a very nice gentleman who was very helpful to all the customers very polite and accommodating however there was a female who sat next to him and had me waiting for help for about 10 minutes , she then said to me, â€œare you with herâ€ referring to another black customer , and I said no. Now that her assumption that all the black people in the room are together , she says what can I do for you. I told her I have the reservation for the 26 foot truck on the street and she says ID please. As she pulls up the reservation I clarified with her that I will be needing an appliance dolly also and she says to me â€œwe don't have oneâ€. Keep in mind that while walking through the door into the customer service area I passed an appliance dolly sitting there waiting to be rented so I said to her, â€œYou do have one right over there I need you to know what inventory you have in your store when I askedâ€ ,. She did not appreciate that feedback and says, You don't come in to my store talking to me like that I'm not getting you anything and you can go somewhere elseâ€. She then throws her hands up and walks away. Once the nice kind gentleman returned and finished helping the other black customer that she assumed I was with even though I was standing there waiting right in front of her he beautifully assisted me added the appliance dolly and completed my reservation to my satisfaction. This woman left an awful taste in my mouth similar to a little bit of Prejudiced towards something About me not sure what it was. I suggest you pull the video in that office Friday, July 9 at about 910 9:15 AM and see how your manager behaved herselfBRIAN O.

Well there weren't any parking spots in front so we drove into this gated area that actually had spots (the gate was wide open) and after a few minutes the gate closed so we were stuck inside. Saw the same thing happen to another person while we were there too. The rest of the process of self service was a total nightmare too. Not easy AT ALL and there was a million steps. I can't recommend against it enough. Just do the regular uhaul pick up if you need to get one!Emily M.

I rented a truck for 2 hours to go around 30 miles all together and some how I can ended up with 100 dollar charge this happens to very single time I rent from u haul . That 19.95 promotion is false advertisement and you will end up paying close to a hundred dollars for a couple of hours and customer service is not helpful and don't answer they just deduct from your card without consentELLIOT C.

The Lady who works for Spring Grove Storage, attitude was nasty. She added all kinda fees after i was quoted one thing on the phone. She needs to work on her customer service skills. She told my husband he waa difficult because he was asking questions and the fees and policies. The whole point of phone RSVP should make the pick up process alot easier and shorter but ita seems to be long and out drawn just to give the same info in person as I did on the phone. I rented a truck and the truck wasnt back so i had to get a bigger truck that i didnt need. Im overall juat not happyCIARA F.

I would never recommend the spring grove location to anyone. The woman was rude to my girlfriend. Tricked her into signing up for insurance by making her think she had to, even though in the reservation we chose to not take the insurance because our car insurance covers rentals. Then to â€œcheck inâ€ the truck we were told to call an 800 number... after 30-40 mins on hold we finally left and tried to see if we could do it online, which we were never told we could, and come to find out I guess we were .9 miles away when we finally checked it in online so we were charged an additional $20. When I call the woman from the store she told me, uhaul isn't even her main business and this isn't her problem and that it's our fault for choosing uhaul. I've used uhaul probably a dozen times over the last 4 years and I've never had an issue until now.KARISSA B.
