The operator at the site first said I didn’t have a reservation. Then finally said I did. The whole time he was talking on his phone to a friend or something. Took almost a half hour to get the truck. He was not very interested in my concerns.

The truck was boxed in, so I had to move the other 2 trucks to access my truck. The back of the truck was also covered in glass. I cut my hand and so did my friend. We had to clean as much glass as we could but were on a time crunch for moving. I called in a customer complaint for this

The attendant was very polite and had excellent skills. The truck was old. The windshield was dirty with bugs and dirt. The windshield wipers were torn and tattered. There was so much bouncing, my back hurt after driving it. No cruise, no power windows! I had pre-registered but had to do the forms all again once I entered the store. I ordered blankets but they had none. Very bad experience. I’ve rented fromU-haul many times but this is the worst truck I’ve used.

I was an hour and a half late returning the car today, and everyone knew it had been raining all day and the roads were stuck in traffic. And I also need to fill up the gas before returning the car. So it took some time, you can give me a fine and deduct money. I don't care, but when I returned the car, this clerk, who didn't speak English clearly, kept calling me. Everyone knows you can't answer the phone while driving, let alone a van, so I needed to stop and answer the phone again, which would affect my efficiency and safety. And spoke in a very bad tone when returning the van and simply ignored me kept stressing that I was very late and I probably waited about 20 minutes before he checked me in. I was overworked all day and then I had to wait about 20 minutes for the car return to be completed. This is such bullshit. This was my first time using U Haul and my experience was poor, I will not be using this company again 😡

Be faster getting us out the door. Have a customer friendly plan for keys locked in the cab. 90 cent a kilometer is too much.

Convenient location for me, fast pick up and drop off process, the truck was parked in a spot where there was a curb directly behind the vehicle, this made very hard to get out, but returning it was fine. Inside the vehicle was quite dirty with lots of garage left behind from previous renters. The lock on the back of the truck did not work, it had been cut open. I didn't require this rental for more then a couple hours for a very simple move so the lock not working wasn't an issue for me, but could be for future renters.

I arrived and was told I could not have the truck as the door to the storage would not open. So I forced the variety store attendant to come out with me and kick the door to break the seal of ice and open the unit. Windshield wasn't cleared of ice so wipers did not function, I rented a dolly and furniture pads only to be told they had neither. When I attended to book in the first place I was sent home to do it online. Nobody called me to tell me the truck was unusable or that there was no dolly or furniture pads at this location. Totally cavalier attitude by the staff, completely unprofessional and I will be filing a complaint. Absolutely ridiculous. On top of that the tires were bald (we got stuck in 2" of snow 3 times) and there was personal items left in the truck by other users so it had obviously not been inspected by the staff upon return of the last individual who rented it.

This mini mart is very busy doing multiple things. Rentals, Canada Post, serving door dash/uber drivers and customers of the store. I was told to wait multiple times as the person serving me would decide to go help others while in the middle of working with me. There was confusion about the booking app and and the employee told me I did things to change my rental details when I didn't. They also charged me for insurance when I had my own insurance already. They did not ask if I wanted it, I only say it later in small print after paying. The total was a lot higher than estimated.

This uhaul location is not equipped to provide adequate U Haul customer service. It is a variety store and did not have sufficient staff to prioritize U Haul customers. I arrived just before the 9:00 am rental time and had to wait while customers came in to have there lottery tickets checked and to buy cigarettes. i was not a happy customer. I would highly recommend that you contact this UHaul provider and tell them to get extra help who can prioritize UHaul customers who are eager to get the equipment and make use of it as moving can be a very tiring ordeal. Also the staff are of east indian descent and it was very hard to understand their english.

It was pretty frustrating picking up a truck that I am told has 1/4 tank of gas and when I turn it on it is flat empty. My first stop HAD to be a gas station and then I’m guessing at how much I’ll use. When I rent a car I pick it up full: I drop it off full. I only pay for the gas I use. Your format is pretty questionable.

The guy took to long to set me up for the rental. He was attending other people in general sales and did not support me for more than 3 clicks straight. Took me 10 minutes to check in and another 10 minutes to check out.

The customer service was extremely inattentive. It was a long wait to pick up and drop off the vehicle and the sales staff helped over ten other people while serving me which made the sign out process take half an hour. The location is very cramped as well. If it was not out of complete necessity I would have left and gone to another location.

Have a person dedicated to interacting with the U-Haul customers. This location had one person taking care of the variety store, post office desk and U-Haul desk. I had to wait (interrupted) with processing my rental truck every time a person came in to buy snacks or drop off a parcel.

Clerk was boreline rude when trying to pick up truck.Truck was dirty in the back. Mileage on receipt at checkin was below that of odometer. Good thing I took a picture before hand, otherwise I would have been charged for an extra 50+ miles of usage. This is why I prefer to deal with a direct Uhaul office and not a pickup location inside another business.

This place does not care about U-Haul customers. We had to wait 30 minutes to pickup the key because they would serve other customers first. I would stay away from this place and rent a truck elsewhere. Terrible service.

The staff at this location were very nice. However, it was odd to wait in line at a Mini Mart that is also a Canabis store. It took far too long to pick up and return the vehicle. Very strange collection of customers coming and going while I waited for service. Completely different from my more recent experiences with Uhaul in Guelph, which was outstanding. I can’t image putting your name on locations such as this London Mini Mart is positive for the Uhaul brand.

I was very disappointed in the whole process. First, the fact that I could only book online was frustrating. My usage date was flexible but I wanted a pick up location in my area of the city. The online system wouldn't allow me to see availability on given dates per location. I selected a location but confirmation stated a totally different pickup location. Then I tried to change the date by calling that location and was told I had to call an office. The customer service person did not wait to fully listen to my needs and booked me incorrectly, billing me for non requested services. The pick up location had technical issues and it took almost 30 min to get info complete and get on the road.

The inside of the truck was filthy with garbage all over the inside. When I arrived there the attendant insisted that I fill out the rental online so all he had to do was “hand me the keys”. It seemed very much like they weren’t interested in being in the Uhaul business.

There was a dirty towel between the seats. Garbage on the floor. Coins and filth in the center console and in the door. Overall filthy. The store attendant would not accept debit and I had to find a bank to pay in cash. When I made the reservation, I used my debit card as I knew my credit card was close to maximum (due to moving ). Overall not a great experience.

Gas in the truck was empty, sputtered to the gas station and was told to just add some gas and not worry about it. Would have been nice to know before leaving. Inside of the truck was dirty - food left out in the ground (McDonald’s, subway, Tim Hortons out on the floor), garbage was everywhere. We filled a garbage bag full of food, wrappers and cardboard before we used it for our trip. I understand that there is a fast turnover but a quality check should have happened before we took the truck. The employee was nice but overall experience was not up to our expectation.

Clean the truck. Dirty Kleenex and used face masks in the cab, filth on the seats and floor, permeating door of manure. The photos of the truck did not show and of the exterior damage. The shop keeper had a very poor “ I cont do anything “ attitude.

The vehicle was out of washer fluid. The operator had a couple of issues with the vendor side of the app. I think they need more/ better training. Overall 6/10

Gentleman rude Sent me out to scrape frost off windows truck was dirty in back. Not swept out Didn’t have 10 blankets we reserved Then as I was leaving he found 5 blankets bunged in a bag. Told me to give home 5$ cash for them Our initial reservation got cancelled and the reservation team called and rebooked us at this location. Because of the reservation being changed they said they would credit our credit card $50. Can you ensure this is done Thank you Niven and Joanne Petersen

They made me wait over to the side while they served all the other customers first. The truck was not clean. They charged for SafeMove when I specifically requested not to have it added, but they did remove it after. I had to take a picture of the mileage and gas level because I felt that they did not want to be bothered to go out and look at the information in the truck. This was not a great customer experience overall.

I did not book at this location but was redirected here 45 minutes before my pick up time. It was 7 km (about 15 minute) farther for me to travel for pickup and return. This put me in a time crunch on moving day. On top of that, it is a convenience store and they had to keep serving other customers while processing me. The last straw was that the charged me for 2 rental period when I was under 4 hours.
