We arrived for a 9am pick up. No keys were left for us. Had to call and the lady was helpful but had to drive 10 more minutes to a different pick up location and wasted 40 minutes of our time

WILBERT RI rented a dolly that wasn't included. Called customer service and was assured it would be removed from my bill. Checked in on line and the charge was still there. Ended up renting a dolly from another uhaul location.

Gloria S😐 UhAul was not safe to drive- WHO and when r they inspecting these trucks before letting people purchase them and drive them. The driver drive shaft totally off. You can really get hurt driving a vehicle with conditions like this. Need refund it was shaking lights cut off. Y itself at evening and night time. Please check this is not safe it’s a hazard in state of Virginia-WHY sell these trucks to people when this is damaged to drive come on now. Refund
CHARLENE BSpringers Market was a good location for drop-off for my trailer rental. There was plenty of room for backing the trailer up and the staff was able to confirm my return with no issues.
Terry FThey only disappointment was that your larger truck (30'?) was not running properly because we really needed that size. We only had a certain time to remove all our belongings and we were not able to get everything in that 20 foot truck. Other than that it was a good experience.
JAMES KI told the guy I was doing a one way rental and he put me down as a in town rental which really messed everything up cause I got charged a wrong location fee for the drop off even though I told him where I was dropping it off. I also got charged for having the truck for three days when I really only had the truck for a full 24 hours give or take a few extra hours and was told I dropped it off in the 10th of January when it dropped it off on the 8th

LEMUEL HThe truck was filthy! There was trash in the back and I could barely see out of the front window. The headlights kept flicking on and off which is dangerous, and made it hard to navigate with the lights staying out for minutes at a time.

Talisa CHitch out of service. 19.99 truck broke down within 20 min of renting . Had to wait a hour for tow service. Service guy jumped battery (he was great). Had to leave truck running at each location to avoid another break down
CHARELL DStore clerk would not be friendly he obviously had a terrible day and took it out on me and my famil And even though I had reservations he kept telling me to cancel them and start over to keep asking him about the key and the process from the uhaul app-well what I was seeing -he specifically told me the system don’t show him anything so he can not help me and kept being rude and yelling I. Front of customers- I then called the uhaul support for customers and she had to dispatch me from her end that’s the only reason he gave me key. Before that she also kept calling the phone he didn’t answer so I was waiting 1-1/2 for the key so I went in store for uhaul clerk to call we heard it ring I ask him to pick up the phone the uhaul clerk is verifying me and the reservation- he finally gave it to me after the nastiness treatment he gave me
VALEREE JThe vehicle was filthy the worker was smoking behind the counter said my card was declined had to have my card entered again. Just not a good experience.

STEPHEN CI'd only recommend it for drop off I think. The guy at the convenience store didn't seem like he'd really be able to help with extra questions if I had concerns or needed help getting comfortable with the truck.

WILLIAM MNot a location comment, but PLEASE give me an option to pick how many days I can do for a one-way rental. The automatic two days (Richmond VA to Bridgeport WV is impossible to complete. Getting an extension is tedious and uncertain depending on subsequent reservations for the truck.
EUGENE RThe vehicle smelled HORRIBLE when I go it and it was filthy inside. I had to wipe it down with Clorox wipes and spray both Lysol and Febreeze to cover up the eye-watering odor in the cabin. I also had to vacuum out the back of the cargo van because there was dirt and small bits of debris all over the back, apparently from where a child's beaded necklace had broken.
KRISTI NEmployee added optional coverage before truck pickup that was not authorized. Then denied it and said nothing he could do. Felt as being SCAMMED. Don’t expect any communication or customer service at this location. Also did not do any truck inspections before pickup.
BRIAN CAbsolutely terrible. The employee did not know what he was doing, it took over an hour to pick up the trailer. He didn't ask us for all our information so the return date and location were incorrect. Will never go here again and will actively warn people to never go here.

Juno BI am very displeased with the way this rental took place. I made a reservation and was told to pick the truck up at one location and that the keys would be in the lock box because the place of pick up was not open on Saturday. When we arrived at the pick up location the lock boxes were open and no keys were there. We called UHAUL and were told that the pick up location had been changed. We were not notified about this change. The truck was available at the new location. I went to the original pick up location too see what the problem was and I was told that someone from UHAUL had come by that location and taken the truck for their use and had brought it back but didn't leave the keys in the lock box. The person in charge of the trucks in this area needs to look out for the customer more that what their needs are. Normally I have no problem with a UHAUL rental, but if I'm going to spend $532, I expect better service than this. Very troubling trend. Seems like the problem is with UHAUL not the pick up locations.
Michael MIn my opinion, this store location should not have a contract/ agreement with Uhaul as an authorized dealer. The man that worked on Sunday shdd ed n we picked up the truck was very rude & degraded my Sister & myself. This was the only location we could get to & to be treated inhuman is inexcusable for a business. He marked what I said to him, He informed us that no one from his store checks the truck in or out, but a Uhaul employee does it. The cup holders in the truck were filthy, paper & trash was inside the truck, the loading area was not swept out, I was disgusted with the Store clerk. I will never use this location again g501 E. Lacie MThe man who completed paperwork acted like I was bothering him--totally inprofessional. The truck was littered with leaves and mulch and the floor was wet. There were damp mats thrown in the truck with mulch bits clinging to them.

stewart rWow... where do I begin? First off, the U-Haul app has to be one of the worst mobile applications I've ever used, and I work in IT where I see garbage applications all day long. But U-Haul stands alone with how poor their app is. When I was finally able to check-in, the screen that I was supposed to show the vendor to receive my keys just magically disappears after I've locked my phone, leaving us both confused on how to go about the situation. Second, U-Haul needs to do a better job of confirming that these vendors will be open at the time of pickup. I had a scheduled pick-up at 6am, but the vendor was not open until 7am. I had to practically kick his door down just to get my U-Haul. I can't even blame him, as he is just doing his job. This completely threw us off schedule as it took an hour just to get the equipment. Couldn't have had a worse pick-up experience if I tried!! Do better!!!
RYANPATRICK RThe uhaul was VERY DIRTY! You can tell it hasn’t been wiped down for a while! I used cleaning wipes to wipe the steering wheel and it was BLACK! Dusty all on the dashboard and cup holders and floor had a used peanut bag trash, napkins, empty water bottle, just disgusting! The breaks kept doing a thing that made myself and daughter feel unsafe. It was just a bad experience for $200! I feel like I’m owed a refund and would like to be contacted! I even explained my experience with the cashier when returning!
PORSHAYD MThe truck is in extremely poor condition. The transmission is going out so it slips. The brakes need to be serviced and on visual inspection the rotors will need to be replaced. The suspension is in very poor condition causing the truck to bounce and have trouble turning.
