Improve the remote pick up service. I waited in the rain while they tried to verify the contacts I entered. I didn't know that was going to be part of the process so I didn't have people ready for phone calls at 7am on a Saturday. I also don't carry my passport or my lease agreement around with me so those options were out.Timothy B.

I drove 11 miles, barely used any gas but filled up the tank with 2 gallons to return it at the same gas level it was when I picked it up. To my surprise, I received my final bill charging me $18 for 4 gallons of gas. Mathematically, I don't know how this is possible seeing that I only drove the Truck 11 miles. I emailed the email address listed on my bill and it came undeliverable, so I just let it go. The 18 bucks isn't a big deal, but it's the principle that there's no way I used 4 gallons, driving 11 miles. Not to mention, I put 2 gallons in to ensure I returned it with the same gas level or more.MARK J.

There is a U Haul store closer to where I reside. It would have easier to pick up the car hauler at that location. But, to U Haul's credit a rental unit was provided immediately considering the time contraint I was under.Robert A.

No instructions for self service were left. The app asks for many detailed photos which were not instructed at drop off. The self drop off was a huge inconvenience that I ended up having to go back to site to check in and was on hold for over 45min to speak to a representative. Overall terrible experience.DIEGO L.

When I dropped off the uhaul there was more than half a tank of gas which was required at dropped off. They charged me fuel charge said gas tank was empty. I did get a refund but make sure customer takes pictures of everything and get a receipt. Don't trust anyoneTARA D.

I didn't like having an older truck. If I was driving a long distance opposed to moving in town, I would not have been happy. There was no arm rest and the steering wheel is sun rotten. If I had picked up the truck during business hours I would have asked about a newer vehicle.Daniel M.

The team at SSC was knowledgeable and helpful; but I waited on hold at 1-800-go-uhaul for 20 minutes before finding out that nobody close to me had the auto-hauling trailer that I needed on an emergency basis. Then, when I returned the dolly that I did rent, I was double charged for the rental fees and spent another 30-minutes on hold at the 800 number in order to get the refund! This was, by far, the worst experience that I've had with U-haul equipment--and I've been renting their trucks and trailers for decades!MICHAEL C.

He very kindly helped me with a small issue I was having, he didn't have to but he choose to take a few mins and try to assist. I'm very grateful the he was there. We dropped our equipment off at Noon and it wasn't checked in until 2:33 pm which put us into the 2nd day rental fee. Also, when we asked for a printed receipt (email was never received from our last drop-off), we were told we couldn't get it because the person that did that wasn't there. We did eventually get an email but the check-in time was 2-1/2 hrs after we dropped the equipment.ANDREA S.

U-haul charged me for an extra day even tho I brought it back on the day they told me to. I called u-haul to try to fix it and after several transfers to incompetent people just learning the phones with screaming babies in the background I realized I wasn't gonna get anywhere with anyone. Sucks that u-haul corporate has such horrible customer service in their phone answerers. Not to mention I waited on hold for 20 minutes just to talk to someone. Why don't they get a callback feature. Long story short, u-haul has money that's mine and I sure could use it more than u-haul...but whatever.DANIEL C.
I didn't know that you have to push down on the metal tab near the square nut to tighten or loosen the hitch. But I was able to figure it out. It would be great to go over that point with customers. Loved the online sign in and fast in and out both for picking up and returning. I will return when next need to rent a trailer. Thank youdon A.

I have rented from this location over the last 2 years at least 6 times and have been by the other employees treated very kindly, professional and respected as they all know who I am being a repeat customer. Dealing with the manager Jimmy, which I had never dealt with or seen was horrible. I will be placing a complaint of my billing after work. Non the less, I read a 5 page complaint that happened yesterday, regarding this guy & same place. It is really unfortunate, we have to spend all this time writing and calling for an employee or franchise that is horrible with customer service. Om very upset that I refuse to ever come back to this location over this one individual!MARIA N.

The app would not work properly and I had to wait 3.5 hours to get my truck. Also I was charged 10 dollars for a dolly and pads which I DID NOT order nor did I use them. I emailed uhaul for an adjustment but I was ignored. Boooooo to uhaul. Thumbs down.SHEA M.
My original reservation was for after hours drop off. When I went to pick up the trailer, I was informed it was not available as it was reserved although I had a reservation. They also told me they couldn't assist with finding an available unit. I went to another location at Houston and Baseline and they were very helpful although they didn't have the trailer I needed. I proceeded to the third location, got my trailer and in route home, I received a call from the tech stating that he forgot to tell me that unit was reserved for the next day at noon. I informed him that my original reservation was for after hours drop off. He finally agreed after putting his manager on the phone. The whole experience was a nightmare and not very customer friendly only to find out I was charged for two days.JEREMY S.
