Equipment was not ready at the 7:00 AM confirmed time. When I called the 24 hour number provided, nobody answered. Then when I called the U-Haul customer service, they wanted to send me to a different location 20 minutes away. All of this could have been avoided with a phone call to me the day before to let me know my truck was not there. Every single individual involved insisted it was the systems fault - stop blaming computers and just pick up the phone like a human.

I had to wait for half an hour while I was calling U-Haul customer service trying to get someone who could help me. Even though I had called ahead and reserved our rental, somehow the online agreement I had to agree to before taking the truck was showing that I had two days for the rental and the cost per mile was also different than what I had been quoted. The first person I spoke with told me that I had to talk to the local U-Haul customer service, and they transferred me. That number that they transferred me to played a recording saying that they were not open for another half hour. I called back into the general customer support for U-Haul and fortunately I got a different representative who was able to take care of the problems. I was able to refresh the page with the agreement details and it was correct and I could continue.

Review your agreement with Lawrence and Sons on 5230 S Power Rd. Gilbert, AZ 85295. Had a reservation and no one at the store knew how to handle U-Haul reservations. The site manager told me to come back a couple hours later. Had to go to SSC Auto, and they helped me out with no issues.

Their was no sign to drop the truck off, just parked where all the other ones were. The drop box wasn't secure, all the keys are easily accessible by anyone. Very unprofessional by the drop off location and by uhaul for contracting with them.

The drop off was easy and there was a gas station practically < 1/4 mile away. They really appreciated the fact I folded the furniture pads. The truck I rented was a 26 ft with a auto transport. The guy asked a few questions checked the gas and mileage and printed my receipt and was very courteous and friendly. I've read other negative reviews about this place and completely disagreed. If you have nothing to hide and are honest and not a total idiot, your experience here will be top notch.
