GARY OI scheduled no contact pickup but they made me go into the office, and then tried to get another contact info that they had to call immediately. Truck dirty inside, and they charge more for boxes than corporate.

VERLIE VDeciding to go with U Haul was my biggest mistake, as your company had committed something else and did something else. As we had reserved the u haul 2 months prior, than your company said that you will let us know 3 days prior, that it is available or not, than on the spot your employee called and said that we don't have the truck available and they pushed us to book U BOXES, and it will be delivered in 2-3 weeks, that was totally unexpected, and we had packed everything to shift from Langley to Edmonton, and we had sold our house as well, and than you asked us to pick up the truck from US, and not even mentioned that we have to pay in US dollars, and my reservation was of $1500 Canadian, We made changes in our budget from $1500 to $2200 CAD it was ok till that, but we reached the location they informed that you have to pay 2900 US DOLLARS which made it more expensive and made more difficult to us to manage our expenses, so we asked an alternative , instead of giving us an alternative for the mistake that your company had made, you put an extra expense on top of it, to make from our personal pocket out of our budget that we had planned, you left us with no choice. We compromised with our budget. Your company gave us stress and put us through mental trauma and tortured us mentally, your company does not believe in humanity instead it's just a money game. Your company took the advantage of our circumstances and charged us as you wished to. Now we expect the decency of compensation.
Jagjit SThe do it yourself check out was an experience and took time, but overall was a good experience. The floor board mats were dirty and there were no blankets or anything in the back, good thing we didn't need any. Over all experience was good except the price was high considering we only drove home and back. Local use and pricing should be cheaper and during this time of year.

ASHLEEN HI just simply use the truck to move some light boxes for round trip less than 50 miles and the destination is big area and clear without any trees or blocks, so when I reserve online I don't chose the safe cover insurance $15, but when I check in at this location the staff still adds the safe cover insurance on my bill, I told him I don't choose it, he looks not happy to remove and says he has to take pictures all around the truck. I am very confident to drive this 15 feet truck because I am a CDL driver and every day driving more big truck than this one on road. Anyway I don't insist to move the $15, but have bad experience on this location. The staff is greedy!

MICKEY BI picked up the trailer on Labor day, I spoke with THREE different people throughout the day to make the reservation and to let them know my timeline. I was trying to get off whidbey island to pick up the trailer and fell behind by 20 minutes due to bridge traffic, I called the stanwood location to let them know I am on my way but hit traffic. The man on the phone got very irritable, laughed at me and told me it was labor day and they wanted to leave early. I told him that nobody at that point mentioned they wanted to leave at a specific time and had somebody mentioned it even ONE of the three time I called them I would have made other arrangements. I told him I was on my way and in anacortes, I kind of asked under my breath, thinking out loud how far anacrotrs is from Starwood, he told me he has no idea and I needed to figure it out. I was already half way there and getting frustrated at this point. I told him I was driving and didn’t want to look on a map while I was driving. He then hung up on me. I called back, he answered the phone “what’s the verdict?” That’s how he answers the phone to customers calling. I told him I’m about half hour away. He said he’ll wait another half hour. I said thank you and hung up.

RONALD BSince there was a mix up with locations I called the Quick Lube employee in Aberdeen. Quick Lube told me that he was going to call someone and would call me right back. Tony the employee at Stanwood Camano uhaul drop off paitently waited with me for about 30 minutes before I decided to call the Quick Lube in Aberdeen back and he just gave me more of a run around answer. After I hung up Tony from Stanwood Camano said he would try to call someone just to see. Tony got the issue cleared up in about 10 minutes. Big thank you to Tony at the Stanwood Camano location for making a frustrating experience a lot more bearable!
SAMUEL FThe tire pressure monitor was not working when I picked up the vehicle. It was signaling low pressure in a tire. I had to back into store before leaving to discuss with the representative. He told me this was a known issue. There was no low pressure but defective monitor. It was to be replaced at next vehicle service. It would have helped to state this up front.
MARK KBefore the rental day, we were notified that this reservation was moved from this Stanwood WA location, to an alternate location in Arlington WA - twice the distance from our moving location and therefore twice the paid mileage, which was disappointing. But we had no choice. When we arrived at the Arlington location, here were two trucks, but the office was closed and there was no unattended keybox. So we could not pick up a truck there, potentially disrupting our moving plans. But when we reported this to the original Stanwood WA location, the Stanwood location was very responsive and we got our truck from Stanwood after all - a truck had been returned to that location during that day. The Arlington location should be reprimanded.
STEVEN HEveryone was pleasant and helpful. We had to wait in line for a while but that's expected. The only probllem was figuring out how to get out of town because a parade was in the works!

Jim AThe only complaint I have is that no one told me upfront, that you had to pay extra for the blankets and hand cart. I really don't feel like that should be an extra charge... but I get it. Make money where you can. The steering was also out of alignment, quite a bid. Other than that, everything was great! The people that handled my rental were very nice and accommodating when I needed to extend my rental time.
