Would prefer staff wear masks properly (one person's mask kept slipping and another person wore a bandana and not a mask). The location is a little hard to find, but once you realize it looks like a car garage, a little easier. Truck was not ready. Location operated in a non-transparent way. Stood in the store for 15 minutes wondering where anybody was.. both the front and back door were opened. Nobody there, no note to tell customers anything. Talk about confusing the customer Insurance was put on the rental I never requested it nor was I asked if I wanted it. This place needs a major overhaul of the inside. What a mess.. but more so if they are leaving the building they need a posted. Ore telling customers to call if serve ice is required. There is nothing. The staff at this location were very helpful, I really appreciated their help navigating the online reservation pick up. In comparison, the online pickup procedures were TERRIBLE. I had trouble accessing the reservation (even though my location services were "on") and ended up having to recruit the staff onsite to help sort things out.VICTORIA A.

The parking spot for the rental was really narrow, and I couldn't fully open the van door to get in. When I returned the van, someone parked directly in front of the parking space so I had to leave it in a different location that I hope wasn't an issue.Robin D.

Nothing. Very bad customer service and on top of prices are such rip off and also very random. Told me 1.50/ km and base fee is 50 dollar for cube truck for 4 hours. I am a small business owner and I used to rent from there a lot and I know all the prices. But it seems there is new owner and it was terrible. I will never again rent or refer this location to other people.THUPTEN R.

It was a very negative experience. The truck was in terrible condition with a quarter tank of gas and I was charged for insurance I did not ask for. This location should be monitored by UHaul head office.KATHERINEC M.

The Uhaul rental process is difficult. My phone could not scan my driver's licence when I arrived and I had to figure out an alternative to process my rental, using the store's computer to sign in, send myself emails with photos of the license etc. It took 30 minutes and I was late for my planned pick up. I was at the point of walking away and going to find a van at another company. Why doesn't Uhaul make it easy for customers to rent? How difficult is it to install a barcode scanner at each location to capture a customer's driver's license? I will not rent from Uhaul again!Jennylynd J.

Poor service & over charged or more money withdrawn from my credit card. I reserved a van on line. Service in the office was poor. The woman at the desk kept texting and on social media while I waited. I was the only customer until another came in later & she has ample time to wast on texting after serving a customer. I returned the van after few hours and settled my bill and took my receipt. However next day I noticed I was over charged. This is literally theft or scamming. Nit good for H-Haul. If my money not returned I will ask my credit card to reimburse me and report it to BBB.Ephrem G.

The interior was not cleaned prior to my rental, as admitted by the representative. This is concerning during the COVID-19 pandemic. the representative offered for me to take a few wipes and clean it myself. Also, the interior of the van smelled like gasoline and i had to drive with the window down.Robert V C.

When I arrived for pickup I was hoping to use the mobile pick up/lock box so I didn't have to go into the store. Somebody forgot to put the key in the lock box (after I went through the whole mobile process). I had to go inside the store and the employee was not wearing her mask. Upon returning the vehicle the employee measured the gas 1/16 of a tank lower than I saw it - probably only a few dollars in cost but it was more annoying. I did not want to spend more time inside (other customers were inside) so I left it.Paul I.

I had to pick up a 10' truck from this location because my 15' truck at another location was no longer available. The truck did not meet needs and I had to make 2 trips which I have not been reimbursed for the mileage.Matthew A.

Tons of snow on top of vehicle cargo van. Ideally it would have been brushed off prior to my rental. Otherwise, had to meet with agent in person as the app wasn't cooperating. Could find me even though location services were on on my phone.JSCOTT M.
Quang is a wonderful location manager. When we were late for our truck, rather than give our truck away, he called us and confirmed our reservation. He gave us his personal phone number in case we needed help parking the truck at the after-hours return. He did not charge us a "convenience fee" for after-hours return. We did not need to fuss around with the glitchy and defective Truck Share app.Phil L.

The lady at the front was kind friendly courteous. When it was my turn She did my booking really fast. I would definitely recommend this location. Myself and 2 other customers witnessed an angry man who brought back his truck before it was my turn. This disrespectful human being was yelling screaming and tried to berate the lady. I became apaulled and had to tell him several times to stop yelling at her as we could all hear the conversation. He was CLEARLY trying to rip off the company AS he was arguing that 7KM of driving would use any gas. Is this man for real?? The gentleman behind my reservation said Sir you do know that just by driving and having the engine turned on and if you are idling its burning gas. You cannot expect a company to pay for your gas. He is saying they ripped him off he didn't check the needle he only checked the odometer we all said yoy had to burn gad with 7KMS and I felt so sorry for the lady. No woman deserved to be spoken to that way. I even told the man to back up and stop yelling at her. They told him $5 bucks he was still weeping and wailing at the top of his lungs we all thought $5 is fair as other Companies ding you with the cost of having to fill it up themselves. He kept holding up the line and the lady said sir $2 just pay $2 he reluctantly paid the meer $2 I was shocked how someone would behave in such a manner towards a woman. He was wrong as he should have to put back something in the tank. And I did not appreciate that a fellow woman had to be subjected to this vulgar despicable treatment by this cheap man. I am glad that we were there for her safety. She handled herself very well and I would commend her for that. I would have lost it. And I felt a compelling need to respond to this survey because of what I witnessed. And when it came my turn everything went fast and smooth. She was able to get on with it and not let that incident slow her down. True professional. Please let her know that she did an excellent job and to keep up the good work representing your company.Sebrena T.

I booked for 9:30 a.m. for pickup but the keys/truck were not available at that time. We were told to wait until opening time at 10 am. The attendant was insistent that we had to pick up our truck during their operating hours (10-6). Equipment was in good condition, but truck should be available at the time I booked.Martin H.

The driveway is busy and a little crowded. The online booking experience did not work and I had to go inside. I wasted 30 minutes trying to book online. The truck was given to me with an almost empty gas tank, which left me to guess how much I needed to fill to get to my destination and return it at the same level so I can avoid going to the gas station twice. I over-estimated the amount and lost $50 in gas that should be credited to my booking fee. The trucks should be provided full with a better and more clear guide to how much gas is needed to bring the truck back full.ANTONIO A.
The truck was new - only 600KM's on it. However, I did find that the seats looked as if they had not been vacuumed after the last rental. Not a big deal - just letting you know. The service here was excellent and I love how easy it was with the mobile app / online account.Eddy V.

Also, the UHaul website and booking service is horrible. I booked at one location for 24 hour rental and without any notice it was changed to another location for a 12 hour rental. Also you website needs to be redone, it's not intuitive and your flows break in multiple use casesBenoit G.

Had some confusion in booking initially as I started off doing it online (i.e. getting quote and doing reservation) however contacting uHaul reps by phone for clarification generally solved my questions, notwithstanding having to hold for an available rep. I should have dealt with neighbourhood rep since the service was equally as good, efficient And understandableBohdan D.

The check in was great but the vehicle was filthy. I had to wipe down the interior of the truck before use because it was so dirty. Really soured my experience because everything else was great.Dominik J.

Customer service was not what I expected. For me the online check in process was not a good experience. I did not like that I had to take pictures of my licence. That made me uncomfortable. Also, how long are you keeping that photo on file. Also, it didn't work. Then when I asked for the key I had to re-register (I had already entered all my information online) and wait to sign papers etc. which was confusing. It was not a good experience and I likely won't rent from this company again. Please improve your online check in process so it does not require manual intervention like communato or zip car or car2go are set up. Also, the van was dirty.Colleen E.
