The fellow taking care of the rental was friendly but not too knowledgeable and had numerous problems with the computer. He did not tell me what the total was after renting the truck. I had been quote $4900 over the phone yet I had to pay $5600. When quoting a price it was be more accurate to quote the price that includes tax and other fees.William L.

When I picked up the usual, it seemed ok..I never have had to check to see if back gate opens and closes. When I took the truck to location, we opened the gate, loaded the truck, but for some reason the gate jammed and wouldn't close and we had to move everything to the back/ front of truck an secure and drive 10 miles per hour with gate open to new destinationJACQUELINE E.

The person helping me had no idea what she was doing. She stopped helping me over six times to check out other customers in the connivence shop. She sold my furniture blankets to the customer before me so I had no blankets, and then when she went to check me out, she could not remove the pads from my order so I paid for items I never received. I was so frustrated and upset. This was the worst experience ever and I will never be using UHaul again. I will be telling all my friends and have already posted to social media my frustrations and told all not to use your services. I never received a refund when I turned my truck into the auburn location after detailing my experience either. Such poor and horrible customer service.Kyle R.

This was the worst customer experience I have ever had. My reservation was changed without my knowledge or consent to a pickup location 3 hours away, I reserved a 20 foot truck and all that was available was a 10 foot truck for an out of state move for my family of five. The customer service representative lied to me, was extremely rude and lacked the ability to show even an ounce of compassion towards severely inconveniencing my entire family. I will never use this service ever again. The location that we ended up picking up from was kind and understanding but this was nowhere near what we were looking for as far as equipment availability.Gloria Z.

Allowing for a refund on the days not used after I had multiple â€œguaranteedâ€ pick-up times and equipment then be changed. I had a drop off day for Friday and it was dropped off Monday night/Tuesday Morning. I'm not allowing for U-Haul to double dip on usage of this moving truck.EUGENIO H.

Printer was not working to print my receipt and she said she couldn't email it. The gentleman that checked me out was very nice but not real happy with the overall experience. She argued with me about how much gas was in the tank upon return however I had taken a photo of the mileage and gas level before and after so she finally fixed it. I was not given any paperwork to fill out. I rented the same exact U Haul in Renton drove to to West Seattle and back. Did not replace the gas and my bill was seventy five dollars'!...How can it be I drive way less this time and the bill is113.00. Jason has been called four times with no reply. I received a van with only 450 miles on it. It was an excellent Ford product, with a rear view camera attached to the mirror. Very clean condition. Glad that I rented from this location.Keith D.
One glitch was that I do not have a smart phone hence was not able to upload a driver's license photo; the gentleman at the shop handled this with a phone call. Charges were exactly what I had computed. Best regards.Richard S.

This is not a reply about either facility, this reply is about the scheduling and reservation system. I reserved online, over a week before my rental date and got a call the day before, to tell me I have to get the truck from a different facility and at 1:30pm instead of 7am!!! This was inconvenient and caused us to have to adjust our whole trip. If the reservations are unreliable, how can we feel comfortable using your product??? I will think twice before using it again!!!neil A.

Don't lie to me and tell me that a truck was vandalized and I needed to go to a different location to get my 20 foot truck. I took the truck to the place where I originally chose to pick it up, and they said they haven't had a 20 foot truck in for months, and no trucks had been vandalized. Also, the truck was not cleaned in the cab. Pet hair and spilled food inside. Final straw was being told I had to bring the truck to the place 6 miles away that I didn't book from. They do have an impressive crack and marijuana pipe selection for sale at that location though. ( You think I'm kidding, I'm not. )George D.

I repeatedly inquired about taking the rental van one way and dropping it off at our destination location, and was told that would be fine. After dropping it off after hours, the receiving uhaul facility called me and told me that i could not drop it off there without incurring a very large fee, so I had to go get the van and return it to the original location, which took me over 5 hours of time and an addition 20 miles on the van which I was charged for. I called 1-800-go Uhaul and was told taht the extra day and the 20 mile charge would be reversed. When the final charges came through I was charged for only one day, but I was still charged for the full mileage, which I found to be unsatisfactory.Adam F.

I made my reservation for Kenmore but had to pick it up in Edmonds. I requested 30 blankets they had 12. I requested a furniture dolly and they gave me a hand cart. The handcart was cracked to the point when you try to put any weight on it the bottom plate would just bend. Fortunately I have one that's very good but I did not have the furniture dolly I requested and needed.dan C.

It was one of the most frustrating experiences for a truck rental customer. The Manager in Star Mini Mart charged $660 instead of $466.00 quoted price that had been mutual agreed. Star Mini Mart would not released the truck unless I agreed and signed the contract with the amount of $660. It took 1 hour 40 minutes for U-Haul and Star Mini Mart to resolve the problem and to honor the quoted price. That means it wasted a customer like myself 1hour 30 minutes instead of 15 minutes just to pick up a truck due to the communication problem between U-Haul, computers and Star Mini Mart. According to Star Mini Mart, who just release the truck by performing the contract information from U-Haul computer system, that is, Star Mini Mart neither has right to change nor involving the rental truck pricing. Star Mini Mart's manager said don't blame him, it was nothing to do with him.Tron L.
The owners barely spoke English and had an easy order all mixed up. TERRIBLE TO DO BUSINESS WITH. Completely turned us off to UHaul. We had to call the Traffic Department twice to get the order straightened out. The owners refused to call, like the Traffic Department asked them to. A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE.Greg P.
I had read that this location was really slow but they had the truck for the time that I needed so I used the online process for as much as I could. They still managed to be incredibly painfully slow. In addition to that they lied about how much gas was in the tank. Since I did the online process it requires that you take pictures when you get the rental and when you check it back in. I those pictures get uploaded but didn't stay on my phone so unfortunately I can't see the record to prove, but I hope U-Haul reviews them. I have no patience for dishonesty.Michelle B.

OMG. It took an hour for the guy at the Edmonds location, to figure out how to rent the truck. He was on a laptop scanning my card repeatedly. He called somebody and eventually was video chatting with somebody while pointing his phone at the computer screen so the person on the other end of the phone could talk him through how to do the U-Haul rental! I wasn't sure if he was videoing my credit card number so I kept taking it from him and then he would need it again and then I would take it from him and then he would want it back. I'm still not sure if my identity was stolen! They had ALL my info. It was an absolute nightmare. And then, since it was a one-way rental I asked him where in Federal Way I can return it and he said wherever you want it doesn't matter. I knew that wasn't true so I called a different Uhaul and they got me to somebody that helped me figure out where I needed to drop it off. So when we returned it to the Enchanted Village Parkway location, we pulled in to a slot, to park it, because we didn't know where exactly we were supposed to park it and some woman came out telling us to 'Move the fucking truck!' I said I wasn't comfortable backing it up. So she did, then backed into something, and had the nerve to ask me if I had a rental insurance. Told her I didn't back my truck into something you did! Oh and Also, when I rented the truck I received absolutely NO paperwork at all whatsoever. No walk around the truck. No damage check. Nothing. So I also had no idea that I had a 52 mile limit. And apparently by the time I got to my destination I was a little over their mileage and was charged another $3.50!!!! Location pleasant. Very nice store conveniently located within 2 miles of my home. However the clerk lacked customer service skills, not friendly and took 30 minutes for pickup process even though I had completed the online pre-registration. Drop off took almost 20 minutes. Perhaps more training would help. I would recommend this location to a friend but advised them to allow extra time for pickup and drop off and not expect much from the clerk.david E.

The clerk didn't know what he was doing and it took almost 45 minutes from when he started until I was able to drive away with the vehicle. I had to call UHaul to be able to compete the transaction. The van was in good condition but the millage was off by 5 miles and I was so far behind schedule because of the clerk I let it go.Justin B.
