Do more than hand me the keys. Make sure the vehicle is ready for the next customer. It took me over an hour to clean the inside of the truck.

BILLY HTruck wasn’t cleaned out. But issues however, is with Uhaul as a whole! Twice I have reserved a vehicle because the locations were convenient for me and twice with only a few days notice I have been told the location I have picked will not have the equipment I have reserved well in advance. I will never ever be using Uhaul again for moving.
ERIKA GPlace was fine, but it was not the location i reserved the truck for, in fact it was in a completely different city, i had to have them up my included miles to account for the extra distance and ended up paying more for the truck l

Sharon YThe small box truck in which I rented was very disappointed in the cost since on the side of the truck. It said 1995 starting from I assumed that the truck I was renting was going to be 1995 but it turns out that’s how much the pick up trucks are which they didn’t have any of those in stock so I rented the smallest truck they had and my total came up to like $80 So that made me upset and kind of lied to about. I never received a paper invoice for the cash I put down or an email which I thought it was getting Just wish it was a little bit more Informed about the price I was paying and had it broken down.
Dawnell LReally fast pick up and drop off! The passenger seat did have a fair amount of animal fur on it so I mentioned it when I got the van so it wouldn’t be attributed to my renting the equipment.
JONATHAN MFix the ignition/steering wheel locking problem. I spent at least half an hour of my rental time fighting to get the darn truck to start. Also, the cap of the window rolling crank came off in my hand, and I was offered a ponytail holder to hold shut the rear latch. Don't make your employees have to excuse you for not providing appropriately functional equipment to renters.
Kathleen BI believe your rental agents need to be compensated at a higher rate so that they have the time to check and service the vehicles. The vehicle I rented worked well and was relatively clean but more could be done and that takes your agent time/money. I note that this agent sent out all but one vehicle on site so use seems to be high. This particular location has safe parking for my auto as I used the Uhaul vehicle. The vehicle I used had a persistent warning of low tire pressure but none was found by me. All told, a good-excellent experience for me! Mel Chandler

Jonathan MThe cargo van I rented was absolutely FILTHY. In over 20 years of renting U-Hauls, I have never received such a dirty vehicle. Whoever used it before me left easily about a paint buckets worth of landscaping soil in the back, and every surface was covered in soil dust. The two front seats were also covered in soil dust and woody particles. I needed the van to move a WHITE ANTIQUE SOFA today. I had to ask the Mini Mart attendant for a broom so I could sweep it out. For some reason, she just stood there and watched me sweep dirt out of this truck—like, what, am I going to steal the world’s most chewed up, useless broom from your mini mart?? I did the best I could, and I returned it cleaner than I received it, but I DAMN WELL BETTER NOT BE CHARGED for returning a dirty vehicle. I RECEIVED it that way. Very disappointing.

Lowell GNot the store the two week in advance reservation was made at. Reservation was made over 15 miles from this store. Had to spend over $70 on Uber, and cost me over an hour of time to pick up the truck. Discount was supposed to be applied to reimburse me for Uber fare and time. Promise of discount was an outright lie. Truck was extremely loud, airbag warning light was on, truck had dozens of stickers marking previous damage.
Silas JI have rented UHaul several times and this was such a great experience I was shocked. The staff were incredibly professional, kind and proficient at their jobs. The vehicles were clean and well kept. I had zero issues at all. Again, I have rented UHaul several times and I usually don’t look forward to the experience but these guys were awesome. I really can’t express how attentive and great they were, just amazing.

TRENTON LThe fellow taking care of the rental was friendly but not too knowledgeable and had numerous problems with the computer. He did not tell me what the total was after renting the truck. I had been quote $4900 over the phone yet I had to pay $5600. When quoting a price it was be more accurate to quote the price that includes tax and other fees.

Jacob HWhen I picked up the usual, it seemed ok..I never have had to check to see if back gate opens and closes. When I took the truck to location, we opened the gate, loaded the truck, but for some reason the gate jammed and wouldn't close and we had to move everything to the back/ front of truck an secure and drive 10 miles per hour with gate open to new destination

Kelly HThe person helping me had no idea what she was doing. She stopped helping me over six times to check out other customers in the connivence shop. She sold my furniture blankets to the customer before me so I had no blankets, and then when she went to check me out, she could not remove the pads from my order so I paid for items I never received. I was so frustrated and upset. This was the worst experience ever and I will never be using UHaul again. I will be telling all my friends and have already posted to social media my frustrations and told all not to use your services. I never received a refund when I turned my truck into the auburn location after detailing my experience either. Such poor and horrible customer service.
