The UHaul app is worthless. 1 hr to get Uhaul.....1.50 hrs to return UHaul.....55 minutes to speak to a rep at uhaul to find out it could have been done on uhaul.com within minutesRon L.

The truck was kind of dirty inside but the lady at the counter apologized and vacuumed it out so it was good in the end. Maybe it should have been checked before I arrived though so it didn't have to be done while I waited.Shannon B.

Make sure the lot is salted. I fell and hurt myself right in front of the trucks. I was on the phone with 1 of the representatives when it happened. It was a very bad experience.Marion M.

The unit wasn't available in our town but we weren't informed of this until the day before so we had to drive an extra hour to pick it up. Which would have been okay but they are in a different time zone we had two less hours on our time plus extra miles on our car to pick up the unit. I feel like we should have been compensated on our invoice for those hours and personal mileage.Leroy W.

Well other than not contacting me less than 24 hrs prior to pick up of a one way rental advising me that the truck is not available at the prearranged location due to the only qualified person at that location going on vacation. And telling me that I have to drive all the way to my original drop off location pick up the truck, drive back to the original pick up location, load/move. Then drive back to the original drop off location after. Adding at least 90 mins and 60 miles to my already long day. And when asked if I would receive any compensation for the additional time,miles and gas, the Uhaul rep on the phone says, well give you a few miles, but there is nothing else that can be done. When asked about waving the cost of the 12 furniture? The lady on the phone says, no and tells me if i don't like the new terms I can choose to call around on my own to locate a truck or new company to use. Well needless to say with less than a day's, notice I was stuck taking the new terms. The final kick in the pants, had to be when Had I done a day rental from knox returning to Knox it would have cost me less money than the new term plan presented by Uhaul rep on phone. So in short, i paid more, drove more, used more gas, and it took longer all because Uhaul representative did not honor the original terms of the one way rental. The only saving grace in the entire experience is that the representative at the knox location where I picked up and dropped off was very pleasant and had a positive attitude. I guess the old saying is true, its easy to be rude to a person when on the phone, and hard to be rude face to face.Kevin B.

After registering online for safety due to corona virus, I stood in the buidling for an hour waiting for a reciept while they had technical issues. What was the point of doing all that on line. Truck was dirty on the inside, had to go home and clean it. Didn't want to drive it all the way back to Colorado.ROBIN M.

The tow dolly strap on the left side was defective, would not stay tight, we nearly lost the car twice, had to stop and call for someone to bring us some straps to hold the car down, increasing our delivery time more than double the time. Would never rent one again.MATTHEW Q.

Scroll letters on word lock were frozen as well as the box itself. Had to leave to get lock de icer but reservation time deducted from 10:30 instead of when I actually got my key out... so I was hugely rushed. Then it was advertised with ramps but no ramps which made it very hard to move the piano which was a main reason for renting. Overall negative experience for the moneyJen S.

The mobile check in app does not work well. I could not upload pictures and was stuck and had to call CS. Same with the drop off. I tried driving to a better location thinking the internet signal might be low and that could not be completed because the app wants to view your location and stops because I am at the wrong location now. The gal that I spoke to in the Knox office was absolutely lovely. I would definitely recommend using this location to anyone. However, the people that I spoke to on the 800 line were knowledgeable, but did not go out of their way to be overly nice or helpful.melissa W.

It took 50 minutes to do paperwork and when we asked if we could add a driver she said no. I called the regional office and they immediately just took the additional driver information while I was standing in front of her.mary M.

Spoke with an elderly woman who stated there was a drink spilled and some dust/sand in the back. I was charged $25 for cleaning. She said she had pictures of the spill but had no way to prove them unless I came in to look at them personally. I asked for them to be sent through email or some other form and she refused stating she didn't know how and wasn't going to try.STEVE F.
Every time we have gone there to take care of our u-haul needs, Deb Baur (if I read her handwriting right on her name spelling) Has went above and beyond for us. We just moved here and returned a one way truck to Starke County Glass location and she was so kind and helpful it impressed us greatly. Then we rented a trailer to retrieve the rest of our things from storage only the night before we were to pick up the trailer my husband ended up in the hospital and didn't get out until after pick up time the next day. Our daughter went and explained we would have to cancel the order and Deb was so understanding. Canceled the order and so when my husband was able we went and rented a trailer and she helped up. I would go back there for all our U-Haul needs. They treat you like a person not just a buck to be made and take time to help with everyday situations that arise with care and concern.
