Ben KI Had Need A Appliance Dolly & This Location Doesn't Carry Any Of Those, I No One Told Me Before I Arrived That This Location Only Accept "MAJOR" Credit/Debit Cards Only, "COMMUNICATION IS A GREAT KEY FOR # 1 CUSTOMER SERVICE. And Last But Not Least, When I Returned The Equipment, I Found Out That The Truck I Really Needed And Wanted Was Still Parked And Never Moved. When I Asked About The Rental, I Was Told That "IT WAS ALREADY RENTED FOR THE DAY"! So With Me Seeing That The Vehicle I Originally Wanted Wasn't Rented, I Was Upset, Because I Feel Like I Was Charged A Higher Price For A Vehicle The Size I Didn't Need.

SKYELYNN LThe owner is knowledgeable and reliable and helpful. His employees were also helpful and kind. This is not an easy business to handle when you are relying on independent contractors and a central corp. stuff happens. Angel got things resolved and got us on our way with a great attitude of service and concern. This is not in a high rent area but you are not going to have this rental equipment housed in a high rent area without paying a lot more for the storage of the equipment. The area is not terrible. You want it fast/cheap/good? “They” say pick two- I got lucky and got 3! Thanks Angel! See you again when I need a rental! Take care!

SANDRA CVan needed a battery, needed several jump starts. unable to tell me differences in plans. Changed picked up location after booking flights and hotels, costed valuable time and money. Asked me to haul a trailer 7 hours for 50$. Wouldn’t even cover the cost of fuel.

Carolyn MThe front worker was very rude. When I got the U-Haul, there was trash left in it, the air in one of the tires was low, and the check engine light was on. I scheduled the Uhaul to be dropped off in another city, but when getting there, was curtly told I could not do so or I’d be charged $500, even though that’s what I checked off online. I will never come to this place of business again.
MARINA CI'm unsure of the young lady's name who works the front desk but she was very nice, prompted, and helpful. My initial pick up center didn't have what I needed and my reservation was routed to them. I called and from that point she helped me without hesitation. There was a hiccup with drop off and I was charged extra ($41) for fuel which $30 was a service fee. I called and spoke with the young lady and she informed me of the dispute policy and gave me the information to customer service. After speaking with customer service, I returned to the service center because they were unable to resolve the issue for me. The manager Andrew helped me from there. At first I don't think either of us were hearing the other person while trying to make the our own points. Overall, rating my experience I would as it was okay. I would just tell anyone, take pictures of the entire dash prior to leaving and upon return to the service center. I didn't and a lot could have been avoided if I had. Luckily the young lady took pictures and they were able to refund the extra monies.

JONATHAN FThank goodness we ran into this location. When we first arrived we were already upset. We had a reservation at another location and was told that they could not accommodate us, and was shown another location 20 minutes away. When I called customer service in the booking department the person on the other end was the rudest person I have had the experience to work with. Basically make it sound like it was my fault for booking a one-way truck. Well that person sent me to Stars and Stripes. He couldn’t accommodate a one way trip either, so we were stuck with returning it late in the evening. I think I’m done with U-haul.

Aaron KAfter being sent to 3 locations for a truck I booked over a month ago we got one. Smelled bad - the first 2 places we went and the original location we booked were both horrible! Made to run all over Savannah to find the truck delayed over 3 hours on moving!! U-Haul is awful!!! And after all that they still charged me for it!!! Customer service at its worst!!

ROY BBetter customer service .He was so rude for no reason He try skip me and take another customer in front of me til that customer was like no sir she was patiently waiting I will not skip her and I think it was because my color. They over charged my account. He changed my reservation 9am-6pm and I Didn’t get the u/haul til after 11 & I supposed turn it in 10:30 the next day but end up finishing early and took it back at 6:43 pm the same day and He still charged my car as if I turned the u haul in late . I will not recommend!!
LATESHA RI am glad this was not my first move with uhaul before because this would have been a frustrating and disappointing rental experience. The representative did not show up until an hour after opening hours started and the number listed in the window to call for help was not answered and led to a voicemail box that was full. Once I got up to the counter I had to wait another half an hour for my vehicle to be prepped and checked in. Due to this delay, I was not able to return my vehicle within business hours as planned and had to do a self-return after hours. When I tried to complete this return online, the system told me I didn’t have any active rentals (since my current one was supposed to end at 5pm earlier that day.) As I was taking pictures to verify my mileage and gas gauge I noticed that I had been charged an additional $180 that I was not expecting. When I got ahold of someone at the shop later that week I was told I was charged this because I went 400 miles over what I actually drove in that day and had returned the vehicle without filling up the gas. When I pointed out that neither of these charges were accurate, with photographic evidence, I was told that I was a liar and that the vehicle gauges did not reflect my pictures. The representative would not verify the vehicle number/license plate when I asked, in case they had checked in the wrong vehicle by mistake. Please note, I had been charged for the additional miles and missing gas PRIOR to my return of the vehicle. I was told to send my pictures to him and he would talk with corporate and get back to me in a few days. He did not. Thankfully, when I called corporate myself I was able to get this sorted with uhaul.
Emily GJayla was a great help! She handled a long line of people by herself - checking people in, bringing around the equipment, processing returns - with ease. She was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful when the truck I rented was not available.

PHYLLIS RThe place is very old. The staff is very very very rude. He interupted my words like a father more than once, even though I'm younger than him, I am a customer. He would become impatient when I was right and tried to fix the information correct, because he thought he is always right in that he is a white old man! He can explain but he won't let me explain and he would say something like "Shh, listen to me and stop talking". His attitude showed it was me to delay everything which is very mean(the truth is not). And he even said something mocking about my language such as "if you study here you should know what I'm saying" which makes me look like I’m deliberately disrupting the progress, even when one of his staffs cannot speak English at all. Even though he dealed with the problem finally, but I will never forgive his disrespect. I will never never come to this shxt place again. So disgusting.

He was rude when he called us to ask of we were coming..which was an hour before pickup..it was Friday so they wanted to close so they wanted us to come early..so we did..then they charged us for an early pick up because it was 16 minutes before time..which they asked for! 16 minutes and we are charged for a whole day! Then when my son got there he was rude about where he parked..but thats where the other woman told him to park. Then they removed the insurance on it..that I asked for! We re arranged our plans so we could get it back early so we could get the extra cost back of one day..again for 16 minutes that they had me do. Ridiculous..they did refund the extra day but why have you even set a time up and insurance online if they dont charge that card or do what it says online..oh yeah..you had to charge a crad in person. Again..if u haul wont charged the online card what's the point.
Daniel CThe drop off was smooth BUT I took a photo of mileage and gas gage and they charged me 47 for extra gas. I called U-Haul sent him my photo of higher fuel on the gage and Hunter kindly saw I was right and fixed the extra charge which was read wrong by person at check-in. Stars and stripes is professional and will use them again. I have 3 MORE moves I plan and will use Stars and Stripes but WILL NOT use jimmy carter location they are crooks and assholes. Never again and If I don't get this credited $65 i will send reviews (many of them) that will not be favorable.

JAMIE GI rented a 20 foot moving truck and a car hauler. The car would not fit on the trailer because it was a little too low from the factory. I called and asked if I could bring it into trade for a dolly. They told me yes and then, when I was five minutes away from there, they told me they couldn’t do it because I was no longer in their system, which turned out to be a lie so I will be contacting corporate over this. I spent $1000 just in equipment to move my stuff and I had to leave my vehicle in Georgia because this place lied and then this because they were gonna close at 6 o’clock and it was 530. They wouldn’t trade me trailers and lied to me and the car trailer ramp didn’t even wanna pull out or work overall shitty experience.

MARK HWhen I rented the truck & arrive at my location, the trailer was covered in trash from the last customer. Multiple bottles, many sheets of papers, rolled up tape everywhere & a few cans. It wasn't a big deal beyond just the fact that I barely used the truck so had I not cleaned it I would've been charged for a previous customer's mess. Everything else here & with my rental was perfect!
