Nelson MI tried to use the mobile pickup and waited 20 minutes for my driver license verification. I gave up and since the store was open went inside and had the truck in about 3 minutes. Terrible mobile pickup experience...it's false advertising to say it cuts wait time in half!
Gary BI showed up for time at 2:45Pm. The front door entry was locked and there was a sign that said “be right back out for lunch.” I ended waiting outside for 30 minutes. The employee returned and did not apologize. I got in the truck and the gas tank was 3/4 full. When it came time to return the truck I have to replace the gas. When I fill the tank up it’s hard to gauge how much gas you put back in to match it. I ended up putting too much gas in the tank costing me more money. The tank should be full when someone picks it up. I will not return to this location nor recommend it.

Robert DThe inside of the truck was pretty dirty when we got it. We had to sweep it out before using it. Also, the truck drove as if it had square tires. I don't know if that is typical or not, but it was a pretty rough ride.

Shawn BThey were 10 minutes late opening their doors. I had reserved an 8 am pickup and the sign on their door said they open at 7:30 am. I saw a truck pull up about 8:05 as I was standing by the door waiting for someone to unlock it. Finally I went over to the truck and asked the man if he worked there. He said yes and that he was working on emergency emails on his cellphone.
Ralph ZMake sure the information on your site is correct. I originally reserved a 15' truck from State Street Storage for today. But when I got there the app didn't recognize my truck being there. I called and they said it was at a different storage site, so I went down there and the app didn't work or the place didn't have my truck. I was able to cancel that reservation and reserve a different truck. But they didn't have the size I was looking for so I had to reserve a bigger truck. The app then worked and all was fine. But the 24/7 truck reserve system needs to improve because that cost me an hour and a half of time I could have been spending moving.
Ian HThe truck that I has reserved didn't come back so I had to go to a different location that the locations where I had originally reserved sent me. That was very nice of them to schedule another location for me even though it was a little bit out of the way. The back of the truck was not cleaned and swept out like it should've been. It was a bit more dirty than normal I would say. Other than that the truck was nice and did it's job.

FRANK TSign on the window (and their website) said they would be open until 5:00 pm, we arrived around 3:00 pm and found the place closed. Pictures on the U-Haul app wouldn't upload so online drop-off was horrible - had to finally just put the key in the box and leave, hoping for the best. Definitely my worst drop-off experience.

GREGORY GOwner closed early. Didn't send me any notification. Only got the truck because I tracked down a cleaning person. Truck was dirty. Was not the truck I was assigned in the app. Did not have all the blankets I ordered. 0 out of 10 would not recommend
Colton JWe rented the truck from a different, closer location and then last minute was told that the truck we needed was at this State St location. No one was working on a Saturday which is odd because that is when most people are moving. It took us 45 minutes to call in and find out how to pick up the truck through the website/app. We were on hold for over 30 minutes. This was very frustrating!
David Athe problem was not in this location. the problem is with the store located at provo 551 W Columbia Ln, Provo, UT 84604 where they did not want to accept the truck, arguing that they could not receive it there... they were very rude and despots and also burlesque, I do not have their names but It is a boy between 25 and 30 years of age with long hair and the woman between 22 and 28 years of age with glasses, they were never kind and made fun of me at all times... I contacted California where I rented the truck to I asked why they couldn't receive it in this store and they told me that they could receive it there but these people just laughed and said that they were stupid. This happened on Sunday, December 18 at 10 am. When I rented the truck they told me that I could return it at any location in Utah, this person's name is Daniel and he is the manager of the store 4093 State St, Santa Barbara, CA 93110.
Jaime EThe right front tire was low (down about 10 lbs), minor but should have been caught before rented out again (may have a slow leak). Overall the service, people and rental experience was great!
William PMy truck was already out and ready to go when I arrived. The U-Haul self-serve app did not recognize that I was at the pick-up location, so I completed the rental in the office. The office staff was friendly and efficient. He said that he was not surprised that the app didn't work. "It is always a problem." The return process was equally efficient. This is the second rental I have arranged at this location in Orem, Utah. I highly recommend them.

Nicholas PI was offered one month free storage with the rental of the truck. I chose the storage that was closest to where I was moving and then after getting moved found out that they are not affiliated with U-Haul therefore I could not receive the one month free storage. If I don’t location is not affiliated with U-Haul then it should not be offered on the U-Haul webpage or it should clearly state that they are not affiliated and therefore the free monthly storage rental will not be honored.
Robin CI worked for U haul when I was a teenager and ever since I use nothing but UHaul. Its a good company.
Vidor DWhen we arrived for pick up there was a sign on the door that said they were closed for lunch. We arrived 5 minutes before our pick up time and waited almost an hour for someone to return. When we called the office, they said they couldn't cancel our reservation because it showed we'd already picked up the vehicle - which we hadn't. The scheduling office was impatient and advised there was no help they could give, they had no idea when someone would return, and we had no choice but to wait. And overall costly situation for us. We only booked with this location due to timing because we were on a deadline. Ended up spending double and missing our deadline anyway. Do not recommend.
Niccolle SThe truck was super dirty in the box part with shredded paper all over so now every rom in my new place has shredded paper everywhere. The app to pick up contactless froze on me and I never got to submit all the damage on the truck that wasn't already stickered. They didn't have any of the dollys I ordered but I got lucky and the guy behind me in line said he had one so I at least got that. I use uhaul a lot and have never had issues with contact less but this time I had to go inside and wait in line which is why I ordered contactless. I returned the truck early but I sure hope I don't get charged extra for anything.
Geric HThe check in process took forever. There is a lot of things hidden till the last moment. The gas tank was below 1/2 a tank. The only thing that was easy was the checkout process. Maybe warn people when picking up a truck that it takes 15+ minutes to go through everything then get approved.
Justin BI am a very experienced large vehicle/log distance driver. This truck was probably the scariest drive I have ever had to Idaho. It felt like the transmisión was messed up, shocks were bad, and the abs was out so it bounced and shook the entire drive in a way that made me feel like I might lose control if I hit the wrong bump, or had to stop quick. It was not a good experience. The store was great but the equipment was not!

Luke NThe other location didn’t have what they said they would have. I needed to come to this location to pick up some equipment. The guy was nice and helped me load my car. I’m more upset with the regional dispatch folks for not getting my equipment when they said they would have it.
TREVOR CHighly recommend State Stree Storage! We had 3 large units for seven years and an additional smaller unit for two years. For the past 9 years all of our units were secure and the facility was always clean. Cleanliness, pest and rodent free were very important in our storage needs. There was never an issue or even signs of concern. Ivan was always kind and took care of every need we had with items we needed to secure and store. Access was always easy. Thank you State Street Storage!
