The bed of the truck was filthy, looked like ash from a fireplace was spilled in the back. I swept up about a dustpan of dirt and ash before loading the truck.

The pick up bed was full of ice because of melting snow. A cover on the PU to prevent snow would be a nice addition. Otherwise what good is a PU?

This was my first time renting an auto transport. I didn't get help putting the trailer on my vehicle. I wish I would have got a little help or taught how to do it. I did it myself and it was great, but it would have been nice. It isn't that hard, but still. I could have messed up my the car I was transporting or the trailer. Overall great experience. It was really easy to check-in and out.

I submitted a comment already about this. There was a pretty big mixup with my reservation, and we ended up having to move last Friday instead of Saturday. I won't go into the details, but the root causes were 1) your system moved the pickup to a location with a different start time than was requested 2) confirmation emails were NOT sent when my reservation was changed over the phone (I went back and checked my emails) 3) the system aggressively books the same truck on successive days #3 is making you guys more money, so I don't expect that to change. In my case I got screwed over and had to scramble and change my plans at the last minute. What is the point of allowing reservations to be made if they are not honored? There was a Seinfeld episode about this phenomenon I believe. If I can't go on your site and pick out the pickup location that I want, then don't allow me to do that in the first place. Also, changes in location and pickup date/time should have to be acknowledged by the customer. NOT just verbally because what I was told and what the system "understood" were completely different things. I'm not moving for a while now (I hope) so it doesn't really matter to me if you fix this or not. But you asked so there's my two cents.

The unit worked out perfectly. My only issue I have with U-Haul is what they charge per mile, which certainly limits what you can do or where you can go without running up outrageous costs as such.

The U-haul website should better reflect what you are going to get. I chose a location and a truck. On moving day I had to go to a location a few miles further from my house and got a different truck. Either keep better track of inventory, have the website be more clear, or actually let people know if you are changing their requests.

This was the worst experience I've had with Uhaul and I'd have a hard time recommending them to anyone else. From the multiple errors in the booking to having to travel to three different cities to get my reservation it was bad from start to finish.

The back door of the 9 foot van was broken..wouldn't OPEN..Had to load and unload threw side door..Also tire inflation lights flashed off and on..But it made things pretty easy to move with...THANKS

Problems with power steering on left turns and headlights illuminate the shoulder but not the highway. Could only drive 30-35 mph and feel safe after dark.

I would not recommend this location at all. I was quoted a price of $68, that's what I was shown on the original receipt. However, a couple of days after I returned the truck I was charged another $109 on top of the $68. I was charged all that money only to move a couple exits up the freeway. You would think I was moving across state for the amount I was charged. I looked at the receipt and saw that the $109 extra cost was for mileage @ $0.99 p/gal. I was not told that there would be an extra charge for mileage. Since I was moving close by I made a couple trips. If I had known I would be charged per mile I would have made other arrangements. The guy at the rental place said he had never rented a uhaul out before so I can assume that's why he didn't notify me about the mileage charged, but either way, I feel shafted by uhaul and am extremely upset by this. On top of this, due to moving expenses in general, I didn't anticipate the extra $109 charge and it over drew my account. Luckily my bank was kind enough to reverse the overdraft fee but my account's still negative until tomorrow, I still have to go to work and have a family to feed. I'm extremely dissatisfied at this experience and will not be using uhaul again due to your lack of transarency.

Poor communication had me go to this location where a t ruck was not available. Rather than go to another location, I waited for a new windshield to be installed. lost about an hour or more.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with this location or uhaul. I received a call this morning telling me I had to drive to a diff city to pick up the rental as the one I picked online that even said there were trucks there did not have one. I explained to the woman that I was not happy bc that meant I would be charged more for mileage bc the Orem store they were sending us to was no where near where we lived or where we needed to go. She did not show any concern or apologies. We waited 50 minutes to even check in to get the truck. There was a person in front of us that was trying to rent a van and the owner I assume working that day did not know how to complete their transaction. He didn't apologize or anything for the wait. Turns out They were trying to rent a van that already has been reserved is what it sounded like bc he had to call someone to walk him thru the issues in the computer. Then by the time that was over it had been 50 min and the customers behind us were trying to reserve the truck we were checking out as it showed avail still online so I was worried they would somehow get our truck. When I finished paying he did not apologize or mention one word about the wait or trouble. Nor did he when we went back. The vehicle was in a gross state it smelled like cigarette smoke so bad we had to drive with the windows down and there was dirt and grass all over the floors and seats. I ended up paying more by the time I turned it in. Something I couldn't paid prob 20-25.00 for turned into over 40 and took an hour just to get the keys. At this point we are very disappointed with uhaul and will have to see other companies in the future.
