I would not recommend this location at all. I was quoted a price of $68, that's what I was shown on the original receipt. However, a couple of days after I returned the truck I was charged another $109 on top of the $68. I was charged all that money only to move a couple exits up the freeway. You would think I was moving across state for the amount I was charged. I looked at the receipt and saw that the $109 extra cost was for mileage @ $0.99 p/gal. I was not told that there would be an extra charge for mileage. Since I was moving close by I made a couple trips. If I had known I would be charged per mile I would have made other arrangements. The guy at the rental place said he had never rented a uhaul out before so I can assume that's why he didn't notify me about the mileage charged, but either way, I feel shafted by uhaul and am extremely upset by this. On top of this, due to moving expenses in general, I didn't anticipate the extra $109 charge and it over drew my account. Luckily my bank was kind enough to reverse the overdraft fee but my account's still negative until tomorrow, I still have to go to work and have a family to feed. I'm extremely dissatisfied at this experience and will not be using uhaul again due to your lack of transarency.

Poor communication had me go to this location where a t ruck was not available. Rather than go to another location, I waited for a new windshield to be installed. lost about an hour or more.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with this location or uhaul. I received a call this morning telling me I had to drive to a diff city to pick up the rental as the one I picked online that even said there were trucks there did not have one. I explained to the woman that I was not happy bc that meant I would be charged more for mileage bc the Orem store they were sending us to was no where near where we lived or where we needed to go. She did not show any concern or apologies. We waited 50 minutes to even check in to get the truck. There was a person in front of us that was trying to rent a van and the owner I assume working that day did not know how to complete their transaction. He didn't apologize or anything for the wait. Turns out They were trying to rent a van that already has been reserved is what it sounded like bc he had to call someone to walk him thru the issues in the computer. Then by the time that was over it had been 50 min and the customers behind us were trying to reserve the truck we were checking out as it showed avail still online so I was worried they would somehow get our truck. When I finished paying he did not apologize or mention one word about the wait or trouble. Nor did he when we went back. The vehicle was in a gross state it smelled like cigarette smoke so bad we had to drive with the windows down and there was dirt and grass all over the floors and seats. I ended up paying more by the time I turned it in. Something I couldn't paid prob 20-25.00 for turned into over 40 and took an hour just to get the keys. At this point we are very disappointed with uhaul and will have to see other companies in the future.

The person helped us complained about the computer system for about 10 minutes after we had spent over an hour chasing between the two locations we had to go to pick up our trucks. The trucks were fine, but having to go to two locations that were not close to each other to get the vehicles was very poor customer service. Then having the guy helping us at Orem sit and tell us how bad the computer system was, did not sit well with us.

I had reserved a truck at JK RV Storage for 7am. I show up at 7 and they are closed until 8. I show up again at 8 only to find out that they don't have my reservation and "I haven't had that truck for 2 weeks." No further review no help (worker was too busy looking up pictures of women). We went to another UHaul to finally get a little assistance, only to find out our reservation was in another location. During this time, I called the 800 number for Uhaul only to have someone pick up the phone and put it down on the desk. I could hear talking and moving in the background, but no one would assist. I have used Uhaul several times in the past, but this service was beyond rediculous, I will never use Uhaul again.

For starters more information on the car dolly I rented would have been a huge help. I was unable to use the equipment because the truck I was trying to haul had to big of tires for the straps. I called the company and they suggested to buy my own straps to extend over the tire. I just moved so unfortunately I was unable to afford my own at the time and ended up taking the risk of just chaining the vehicle to it's new location.

The gas tank was slightly below half full but it was marked as half full on the contract and explained to me that it would need to be half full when I brought it back. Not a big deal but that sort of bugs me. I probably put an extra 1-2 gallons of gas in it to bring it all the way up to half when I returned the truck.

The location was just fine. The gentlemen that helped me was great. I was upset that the original pickup location and time I was promised was not fulfilled. Because of this I had to wait 3 extra hours to pick up the truck at a location that was much further than the one I had originally chosen and had to pay more for the mileage used because of it.

When we scheduled with the American Fork U-Haul, we were informed there would be 2 trucks available the morning we were to move. Then we received 1 phone call, and were informed 1 truck would be available at the original location, and the 2nd would be available a location 8 miles from the original. Every member of our family has health conditions, and 2 of the family members were too sick to help. We had help lined up to help us move, which we then had to schedule in 2 shifts, and this slowed and extended a move by about 6 hours during the day we moved.

I originally requested a smaller truck picked up at a different location. I found out by accident that we had been locations and truck size. I would have appreciated a phone call explaining what happened and asking if that would work for me. I would have been really upset if I had showed up at the original location and not had a truck. The man that helped us at this location was very helpful though.

The online after hours check in was a pain. It kept telling me I needed to turn locations services on my phone on, but it was already on. I ended up having to call in and wait 20 min for a representative. After I finally got through to a representative, it was easy from there.

The location was fine but the equipment assigned to me was OLD! The agent had 5 other (15 foot) trucks.....all appeared new and in good condition. the truck he game me was old and had 95,000 plus miles. I complained but was told that the older trucks were used for "around town" moves and the newer trucks for long distance. That makes sense to me but when I returned my truck later that evening, 4 of the newer trucks were still sitting there. The back door was extremely difficult to pull down.
