I reserved a cargo van to pick up after hours. I was called the day of the reservation and told this location did not offer this service, I was asked if I could pick up the van before 330, which I replied yes. Was then told at pick up since I picked up early I would have to make sure the van was back by 330 or I would be charged a second day ( I needed the van till a certain time which is why I reserved at the time I did). When I got in the van I was overwhelmed with the stitch of cigarettes, I thought these were supposed to be smoke free vehicles. The attended never did a pre walk inspection with me to inspect the vehicle. When I brought the vehicle back during normal buisness hours 9am-4pm the office was closed and no one was on site. When I called to speak with customer service there was an estimated 30-45 min wait time. I was able to figure out the after hour drop off process online to return the vehicle. Hopefully I will never have to use this location again. I will gladly drive to a location a little further away before I make another reservation at the stax up location in menifee.
steven C.Have a vehicle inspection preformed by rental facilities, especially now that gas theft is going to increase. How is average renter going to know there are more than one cap covering g a gas tank. That was not covered in your rental agreement or links sent after contract is sent The fas cap was popped off, prior to out rental, unbeknownst to us we were driving a vehicle with gas splashing out of the tank. This is a safety concern especially in a state in a severe drought. Anything can cause a spark and driving a truck that can explode was nit comforting, once discovered

Katherine A.Not sure what happened to the regular person that works there however one guy was bad mouthing UHaul , couldn't even unlock the front door to let people in, customers would knock and other customers would let them in… could not find the keys for my truck so assigned a new one…. Could not use the computer system well at all, again blaming UHaul for system… took me a hour and and half as he fumbled around and with me, the customers before me …. Nick acted like he had no training at all and his first day on the job …. Going back to Budget locally… a little more cost however better customer service and knowledge. I rather spend more money to get in and out, then waste a hour and a half of my time to watch a 3 ring circus to get a truck…. I will never go back to that lock again .

Richard F.Bad customer service manager was locking people out before it was closing time. Didn't help me with the truck at all. Went back to return the truck I was locked out and over charged for the truck rental.. I have used uhaul many of times but this time I will think about going somewhere else .. that place and manager Tony ruins uhauls name.. Stax storage and uhaul rental.. never again.. someone really needs to be on that place.. so sad actually I don't want anyone else to go through what I went through.. made look at the cameras to see I'm telling the truth and contact the owner..

Keith W.We came into unlocked area and unhooked the trailer. We t took our paperwork to the office which was locked. We called the phone number and no answer. We waited over an hour and nobody was there when we went back. Other people came and tried to go inside but left. We called the corporate phone number and waited a long time but did get a nice helpful woman on the phone. We took photos of the trailer in case there was an issue. Nobody showed. Up. Someone could have come in that yard and stolen trailers.

Felipe F.The uahul app was inaccurate. It showed a picture of a key box to retrieve the key, but the box did not exist. We spent 10 minutes looking for the box before someone told us there was not lock box and the lock was on the back of the truck and to retrieve the key from within the back of the truck. This was very inconvenient.

Victor H.Be patient. Pick up for rentals are really busy on weekends at opening time, I think they could use more than one person at the desk when they open because it is so busy. One person can do it all with a line of customers waiting to be helped.

I was told if we didnt reach those miles i wouldnt be charged. So yes i didnt meet those miles at all and when dropped off was this charged for it. SMH. To top it off uhaul is way over charging there customers. Feel like i got robbed
DONNA G.The items I needed I could not find and they were not in the truck. The instructions for self pickup and drop-off made the experience kinda awful. We hired movers through u guys that broke and damage multiple items. All in all it was the absolute worst moving experience I have ever had and ended up costing me thousands.
