Karen WMark is a genuine good person. That's the only reason I would recommend the location. U-Haul's process of delivering service is subpar and self-serving. But you already know that. I had to drive accross town for a van that was available at the location down the street. It was reserved at that location and then you did a bait and switch--reserve it and later inform me it's no longer at that location only a day prior to my rental date. Obviously, I had no choice but to accept driving further to pick it up and bring it back, incurring more milage cost. Mark was sweeping out the van when I arrived for pick up but the outside front hood and windshield was filthy with bug splatter. I had to was the van at my own cost and effort. Overall, Mark could not have done more to make the experience pleasant. But your policy stinks for customers.
Coolidge HI honestly feel there's nothing this place needs to do to improve. This is the only place I will ever rent a U-Haul from and it doesn't matter if I live close or far I will only deal with this place until they are no longer in business. I love this couple and they are very in tune with their customers and go above and beyond.

Penny VNeed to have access for people that are handicapp. Otherwise the service was good! Even the customer service not like other U -Haul’s places that I’ve gone to in Hammer Lane and California St. The man was very rude and wouldn’t rent me the truck that I reserved . Because I was 1 minute early befor he opened and he was Very Very Rude!!!!! Just like another person that commented he has no customers skills and I don’t understand why one minute before the time he actually opens he says that I am handicap and I am waiting for him to give me my truck so I can get moved. Then he refused to give me a truck, even though I had a reservation and I try to find another truck elsewhere, and there was none available. I also called the corporate office to put in a complaint, and even the supervisor where I put in a complaint about the gentleman and the service, he didn’t even have customer service skills. So I guess it doesn’t matter the service that they give because they can do whatever the hell they want.!!!! Don’t go to these two places to rent trailers!!!

Patricia BI was originally told I could pick up the trailer in Discovery Bay, 6 miles away, instead of my city, Brentwood. Then I got a call saying that the trailer was actually in Stockton, 30 miles away. Mr. Stebbins and wife were perfect. It was explained to me that there is a shortage of trailers and there is no delivery service. At least I didn't have to drive to Colorado to get it... Improvement would be to tell customers the truth right away, and explain why they had to drive some distance to get the equipment.
