The drop off location did not honor what the customer service representative that I spoke with earlier in the day told me about billing and our need for more miles. Therefore our bill ended up being $125+ more than what I was told to anticipate. Had I known this I would have considered a different option. I would like to discuss this further. Great van for my purposes. I really like the improvements U-Haul has done to the newer vehicles. Site lines were outstanding and some of nice touches like a USB port so I could keep my cell phone charged while using the maps app were greatly appreciated. The van was very comfortable, and was easy to load and drive! When I need a vehicle for moving, I will continue to use U-Haul! Could not be more pleased with the entire experience! Thanks!Ronald M.

We got notification 18 hours before our scheduled pick up that the truck wasn't available. The suggested replacement was an hour and 45 mins away. I was on hold for customer service for 26 mins when your side disconnected the call. I called back and selected the automated call back. I got the call back a few mins later, but it was dead air from your side. I called a 3rd time and requested call back again, finally got a human who told me to call a different number. The person at that number said they couldn't help me and gave me a new number. The person at the next number said all trucks were gone including the proposed option an hour and 45 mins away. She clearly could not care less and was as flat and passively hostile as possible without crossing the line to full on rudeness. Truly miserable hour and a half of horrendous customer service. That last person was willing to cancel the reservation, so great thanks. I started over with a new reservation for 2 days later. Clearly your logistics could be better. Letting people know 18 hours before a planned move that they're out of luck is a problem, but maybe worse is the horrible â€œserviceâ€ experience after that notification. Epic fail.Patrick R.

Openly expressing disdain for a sitting president as a company policy makes me very concerned about the willingness to serve all Americans with curtesy and fairness. Employees were very curt and didn't make me feel valued or even welcome. All went well with the trailer but won't be back at uhaul.Ronald S.

The worst service I've ever encountered. The old guy dropped my phone to the desk from 10 inches hight simply by letting it go after glimpsing my screen. My phone would bounce off the table if I didn't catch it. It's one thing to have Trump flags on the store front. Treating customer with that attitude is another level.Chun-Yu K.

There was literally no where to park a 26' truck. They block off part of the parking lot so when you pull in you have to make a move as quick as possible to put the truck somewhere.Jenna C.

The staff are laidback and clear. There are lots of little things that are stressful - it didn't seem like app-based pickup is actually an option, it felt like using the UHaul website to check for damage before leaving the lot was not encouraged. In other words, they're focused on efficiency, which is fine! But for anxious movers, it's hard to know the unspoken etiquette of the place.Nicole H.

There are several insulting, racist, sexist, misogynist, degrading, and unpatriotic signs and flags plastered to the front of the building. As a proud member of a military family I was appalled to see a flag referencing fallen soldiers in the window, surrounded by such appalling things. When I walked in the store the man behind the counter didn't acknowledge me, as he was discussing his arsenal of guns with his friend, and when he finally did, he rudely interrupted me and shooed me along. I believe in freedom of speech, I believe in a right to your own opinion, but I felt unsafe in this store and will not be returning.Karyna C.

The truck is in desperate need of wheel balancing!! Try driving a loud truck more than 650 miles in two days with a steering wheel vibrating and shaking. This truck should not go over 45 mph. Felt like the engine mounts were going to give any second. Stressful. Window seals were in bad shape. Lots and lots of noise. Also, the tires felt like I was driving a Flintstone car. Hard as hell. Poor ride. I'll look elsewhere next time to rent.Frank K.

The aggressive political signage on the front of the business made me want to cancel my order and go somewhere else but, I needed the truck. The attendant was very helpful and had me out of there in 5-10 minutes. Alienating a portion of your customer base with politics does not make sense for a business. I felt very uncomfortable and not welcome and will never return because of it. Had your personal political views not been draped over your business I never would have felt unwelcome and would have been a loyal customer but, this location has prioritized personal politics over business. I think all Uhaul trucks should be filled with gas to the full line. I received a truck with half a tank and was told to return it with half a tank. The truck get 7 miles to the gallon and I had to go several hundred miles. We had to move out and my priority had to shift to get gas first. This is not right. All trucks should come back full always none of this 9/16 full garbage. I'm sure anyone traveling through several states would agree with me. Other than that everything else was fine.ERICSCOTT R.

The ink on the paper contract was very light so it was hard to read. I needed to ask clarifying questions because of this. The "manager" spoke way too fast on the specifics of my questions while reviewing the contract and he was irritated by that. I could tell you other experiences but to be honest, the "manager" needs to go through customer service class 101 on how to deal with customers and work with the public. Having two children attending Penn State @ State College and the need for a rental in the future, I would not use this location again.Bobette B.

The van was very dusty. There was done kind of white substance on the driver's seat. When I tried to brush it off the seat, it smeared. The floor mats and cargo area mat have not been cleaned in a long time. The app states that the keys would be in the vehicle. The keys were NOT in the vehicle. The gentleman I the store was polite and got me my key quickly. The app is terrible for both renting and returning. I had to keep putting my information in the system. During the return process, I had to keep raking pics of the odometer and fuel gage. Again, the app would not accept the pics no matter how clear they were. I could not get your app to work when dropping off the trailer after hours. I tried for 1/2 hour but I could not get past step 2 where I uploaded pictures of the trailer. I called U-Haul and was told it would be 55 minutes until I could speak with someone. I dropped the trailer and went home and got on the website and started a chat. That took around 12-15 minutes until someone was available. I was told that the customer service rep could not complete the return on their side. I told her that I did not want to pay the $20 fee for not doing the self return. She said she would notify the local center that I tried to return without success. I returned to the center again to try one more time, Someone was there and had "returned" the trailer and everything was good. I was very frustrated that your app was not working properly.Charles A.
