The app we were told to use to pick up the truck could not find my reservation, so we couldn't get the truck on time. We called the 1-800 number to try to fix the app problem, but it had a 51-minute wait time, which was after the store opened. We were able to get the truck quickly after the store opened, but that put us way behind for the day, and the clerk didn't even apologize for the problems and delay.SARAHELIZABETH L.

Location displayed anti-American propaganda in their windows. They weren't friendly and the store was dirty. Pretty disgusting for them to hang a sign that says â€œonly thing worse than COVID 19 is Biden 20â€ when 600,000+ people have died of COVID. Pretty sure those families would disagree that a political candidate is worse than their loved ones' death. Will never go there again. Stoicheffs Auto has political signs in their front window that I feel would offend many people because of our nation's current political division and because to me, and others, they represent disinformation that is killing American democracy. These posters are an insult to one of our democratic cornerstones: the peaceful transition of power, and they inspire the ever increasing erosion of our democracy. Although I fully support one's freedom of speech, I felt very uncomfortable walking into this business and interacting with the personnel there. I would prefer not to have to deal with political messaging at businesses, especially ones that represents a national chain like U-Haul. Busy site with staff that is curt with customers. I was supposed to have extra miles because I had to drive to Conesus, NY from Fairport, NY to pick up the truck. The service attendant at this location at first charged me for 5 extra miles which was inappropriate. Small return and parking area causes lots of congestion for customers. I mentioned to the return agent that there was a leak in the grandma's attic. Agent didn't seem to care. Also, the fuel guage sticks at 5/8 tank of gas which is the reason I returned the truck full. I tried to fill to 3/4, but the gage didn't go past 5/8 till tank was full. I asked for refund of the additional fuel and agent again didn't seem to care and told me to file a complaint. Not a customer oriented location.STEVEN W.

We felt that we were imposing as soon as we walked in, rather than being welcomed. The gentleman behind the counter barely said â€œHiâ€ to us before he answered the phone and spoke impatiently with another customer. This location is severely understaffed when it comes to handling both phone calls and walk-in customers. Dropping off our rental on Sunday afternoon was not only a disorganized disaster - it was extremely dangerous. The returned trucks were jammed into the parking lot, leaving very little room off of a busy road to pull off, decide how to park the rental, and then actually park it. The employees here are extremely rude. As soon as we arrived, they yelled at us to move our car into a parking spot that was then immediately taken by another employee. They don't offer any short-term parking, which means that two people are necessary to pick up a rental. There was an extremely long line and the employees did not care/did not try to help people at all. The employees here may have been the most unpleasant people I have met in this town. Upon returning the vehicle, the establishment accused me of spilling oil and trying to return the vehicle without cleaning. This was the most disgraceful experience I have ever had to endure. Sure I wasn't careful to inspect the interior of the truck when I received it. That was an accident. I acknowledged as such to this facility and indicated I was willing to pay the $50 fee. But that oil spill was not from me. This is despicable and pathetic service. I do not recommend this return facility. I also encourage UHaul to contact me for more information. Stay away.Lawrence B.

The hand cart that I received was bent. Specifically, the bottom plate was upward so that the angle between the hand cart frame and the bottom plate was <90 degrees. This made it very difficult for a single user to stack more than 1 or 2 boxes on it. It also made the handcart very unstable when free-standing on its own. I was unable to bend the bottom plate back into position on my own.Evan B.
My reservation was somehow changed from 8am to 9am without any notification so I arrived too early to pick up my truck and had to wait until an hour prior to 9am.
