Customer service was not good. The man seemed bothered by having to hook up the trailer. I had chosen a drop of location and he switched it. Said I could change it later. Right side marker light was out on the trailer, damage to the right rear of the fender that looked to be dangerously close to the tire, trailer was very wobbly when unloaded and only got worse after loading. Tires looked like they were worn out passenger car tires, not trailer tires. I've rented many auto transports and tow dollies from uhaul and have had nothing but good things to say. I guess this time I just got the least taken care of equipment. I have nothing bad to say against the location, they were prompt, friendly and professional.Zack T.

I had asked to have the truck closer to home. As it was, it was a 45 minute round trip to pick it up.Caleb S.
The Stokesdale location staff was outstanding! The drop off location was great! However, the original location to pick up was down right horrible experience!!!!! I was told upon my arrival that They did not have a trailer for me! However there were two trailers in the lot that I was staring at that were exactly what I ordered for pick up at that time. I was told not only by the part-time representative behind the counter, traffic from High Point, and the owner over the phone to the part-time clerk... that I could not have either one of those trailers since they were local rentals 15 hours from now on the next day!! I did not receive a call prior to my arrival! The problem was not solved befor I showed up nor was it seen. I was given multiple options to drive to locations well out of my way in hopes to get there before they closed 20 minutes from the time I was denied either of those trailers by the owner and the others involved. The staff at Stokesdale were great, the receiving location was great, and both of them said that they should have rented me one of those trailers and made arrangements for the next day for the other people! My question is why was I turned down for two trailers that were located at the facility I originally rented from a week prior? I cannot believe that even after getting the owner on the phone of the operation where I had originally rented the trailer, that even he decided I was not worthy to rent the trailer that I had made arrangements for a week prior! I have used U-Haul for multiple for moves over the years, however I see that coming to a screeching halt! I was given a $50 discount on the rental, which was not even close to the inconvenience that I was being put through considering I had worked 11 hours already that day and was to leave that night after packing up the trailer. I would like a member of supervision or management to contact me regarding the whole transition from the original location from which the trailer was to be rented.WAYNE S.

I WOULD PREFER TO HAVE THE TRUK GASSED UP AHEAD OF TIME, WITH THE REQUIREMENT THAT I REPLACE THE GAS USED. THS IS THE ARRANGEMENT OTHER RENTAL COMPANIES HAVE, AND SINCE THAT'S WHAT'S EXPECTED, IT THROWS A MONKEY WRENCH IN THE WORKS TO HAVE TO ALLOW TIME FOR ADDING GAS BEFORE STARTING THE CHORE.SONYA G.

I picked up this truck at 9am on the 27th. I came in the store a day early to pay them because it wouldn't let me pay online. Website Was telling me to go to the store to pay, so I went to the store paid the guy $152 and he gave me the key. I explained to him I did not need the truck till 9am on Sunday. I asked was it a charge if he gave me the key early but I wasn't getting the truck yet. He said no, just have it back at its drop off location by 9pm on the 27th. Well today Exxon charged me an extra $40 for an extra day. I physically only had the truck from 9am until 5:15pm on Sunday the 27th. I called My pickup location and they are claiming I physically took the truck. No I did not. I told them check out their camera system. I was going on what the salesman told me or I would have NEVER just have taken the key!! Plus he told me to drop off by 9pm. Well I dropped off at 5:15pm. Long before drop off time. Even if I was suppose to have the truck for 24 hours why did drop off time say 9pm. It's all a bunch of miscommunication and I don't have an extra $40 just to give away for the use of something I never had. Plus was given the wrong drop off time to start with. Thanks! 1. This was more than 16 miles away like the dispatch person said. It was 26+ from the HP house and 27+ from the McLeansville house. So it added quite a bit of gas and time to the whole moving experience. 2. I set this up as a mobile 24hr checking & out. When I arrived a the stokes dale site, there were no keys in the vehicle. I had to walk a good distance and wait in line to check in. And that process took quite a bit of time. Not happy with this at all!!Dawn G.
If a reservation is made please ensure that the equipment is available. I did not appreciate having to drive all the way across town after arriving at my assigned pick up place to rent a 10â€ truck. CAN'T THINK OF ANY BUT TO ME GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BEST I CALLED THE KERNERSVILLE OFFICE AND THEY WERE RUDE AS HELL AND I WOULD NEVER GO THERE - BUT THE STOKESDALE OFFICE WAS GREAT, IT TOOK ONLY 10 MINUTES AT THE MOST TO GET THE TRUCK AND I DID NOT HAVE TO DO IT ON LINE.Pamela T.

I ordered a 15 ft truck and when I got to the uhaul location the owner Of Stokesdale market Frank Put me in a 27 foot truck claiming he did not have any 15ft trucks - which was not true as he had multiple I found out later. I left under the assumption this was my only choice . I turned around at the closest gas station to bring the truck bs k as it was way to big for me to drive. I ended up hitting a pole because the truck was so big it was impossible For me to drive . After a police incident filed I went back to the uhaul location and was then put in a 15ft truck that was obviously available. I have no idea why I was given a 27ft truck when clearly the 15ft truck was available all alongGEORGINA H.

Service center was unable to access Uhaul's website for checking me in, while I stood in the lobby and did the check-in online. Left with no rental contract or a agreed location to drop off in Blacksburg, VA . After leaving the lot, during loading, we notice one of the tires was low. Filling with air revealed a nail in the tire. Service center was quick about repair.Roger M.
