Have inside dementions on your website upfront. I rented a 9by 5 that was only 45 inches inside demention. Paid for it but never used. Should not have 9x5 on trl if it's not. Will never use u haul again.Clifford S.

Why did the truck not have a ramp. The entire point of renting these trucks is for a ramp. Thought all uhaul trucks had a ramp, lower height, better than other companies. Where the fuck did the ramp goWilliam G.

I personally feel that the past two property manager that’s been in charge are not people friendly nor do they show great customer service skills. When your dealing with the public you have to be a little more professional and that was the main reason for me removing my belongings from the premises! I wouldn’t recommend anyone at this personal time. Maybe in the near future. Sorry I’ve been a customer of yours for over 5+ years and have dealt with several property managers to be able to voice this opinion without bias! Everyone I talked to from Uhaul customer service on the phone or over the internet was amazing! They were friendly, professional, understanding, and easily accommodating. However, the man at the pick up location, assuming he is the manager or owner of Stor Mor Mini Storage, was extremely rude! He spoke to us like we were idiots. He was frustrated and not understanding. He was not able to help us if we needed it during our big move. I am glad that I only had to deal with him during pick up. Because of his service representing Uhaul, I doubted using Uhaul ever again! Like I said before, luckily all of the people who work directly for Uhaul saved my view of the company. Maybe, remove your equipment from his location...AMBER J.

Make sure the vehicle being used is clean inside and out. It needed swept inside, badly, and when I stopped to fill the gas I had used, I tried, in vain, to get the bug guts and smears off. But I couldn't reach it all and they had been there awhile.DONNA N.
I was charged 40 dls as rental charge on top of the 19.99 this was not part of my quote and it was not advise at time of rental either. The guy that rented the truck was very nasty and disrespectful, I was 5 minutes late delivering back the truck and I told him I was going to put gas but to avoid being late I was just going to deliver as is and pay for the gas and he said that I was 5 minutes late and that he was going to charge late fee so then I say ok then let me go and fill out the tank since you will be charging late fee I Mimis well be late 5 more minutes and turn it in with full tank and he took the keys of my hand and say nooo ... he was very rude I just left there cause I was afraid he may push me or hurt me... so I was ok with the gas charge and the extra time fee for 5 minutes over my 5 hour rental but I do not agree and don't know what this rental charge of 40 extra dollars is for. Will never use and will make sure to advise everyone that Uhaul is fraud as they don't charge 19 dls they charge 59 dls per 5 hourAdriana P.

The location was fine, but the 24/7 pickup was a nightmare. I waited nearly 45 minutes for my info to be verified before I could receive the access code for the key. Numerous attempts to reach the department responsible for the authorization was a waste of time oh hold for the entire 45 minutes. If you're trying to make it convenient, then some serious work needs to be done on this process.BROOKE B.

Apparently, staff from Montgomery, IL U-Haul dismissive since I came in on a Friday to grab a van without reservation. This attitude affected his work product since he was confused with how to spell my name, Bred [Brad], when setting appointment with Oswego IL U-Haul. Also, van wasn't available. Truck had 2' snow pile Infront of it. The truck wasn't swept out when I received it. I got the truck with 30 miles to empty. At other u hauls when I've shown up for a reservation they've had the trucks started and ready for you/ cleaned off and warm. Just wasn't my typical uhaul experience.Alexander L.

Truck was in need of major mechanical repairs @ steering and suspension. Truck was very noisy sounded like grinding gears and when steering wheel was turned to the right or left sounded like something was going to break.Eric T.

Based on the experience I had, I would not recommend U-haul. I was not comfortable with the reservation process, being promised a unit but not knowing details until the day before. The representative at the pickup site was very helpful. There were troubles with my reservation. The trailer I reserved wasn't available so I got a free upgrade. I have a small car and that may not have worked. The paperwork had me down for both the trailer I reserved AND the free upgrade, being charged for both. The rep had to get the manager to help figure this out and ultimately had to call headquarters. We were told it was all corrected. It was not. Still both trailers but even more expensive. Called HQ, tried to fix it. I was told to take the trailer and would be emailed a contract, since they could not get it figured out. This was a 90 minute ordeal. Again, the rep and store manager were very friendly and helpful - nothing went right.PATRICIA C.

Let's see where do I begin with this crappy rental? I reserved the trailer approximately 10 days ago I set the trailer up to be picked up approximately 5 blocks from the location I needed it at I get a call after I had travelled 190 miles from my home to Chicago and was there waiting to go to pick up the trailer then I was told by your customer service agent I had to drive an additional 35 miles each way if I wanted the trailer in Oswego Illinois I asked I thought a reservation meant I was getting a trailer? The girl said yes we have to guarantee you a trailer we do not have to guarantee you the location so then after picking up this trailer that look like it was from a junkyard my car hauling went smooth on the way home to Peru Indiana I got a text saying I had to drop the trailer off in Kokomo Indiana which is 22 miles each direction from my home so my response is this I have to guarantee you get the trailer back I don't have to guarantee where it will be just like I was told from your customer service which really sucks by the way I will not be using U-Haul in the future because of this there's no point making a reservation to pick up a trailer if you have to drive halfway across the state anyway in conclusion I dropped the trailer off where I normally get my rentals in Peru Indiana I did not take it to KokomoGerard M.
