Take the stupid hand truck and blankets out of the back that take up valuable space.
ROBERT TEverything was great. Car hauler was already positioned for ease of access and hookup to my motorhome. Store manager wS very helpful with hookup and guiding me for loading my vehicle onto the trailer. As I indicated everything was great and timely.

James BOn Friday June. 26, on site, I reserved a 10 foot Uhaul truck for 9:00 AM, 07/03/26 at the Elberta, AL location. A 10 foot truck was on the lot at that location until Thursday, July 2. My pickup was moved to Hwy 59, Foley Alabama. The Foley location was some 5 miles further from my destination in a high traffic zone. The Foley location had the truck, but said a tire had low pressure and it was not to be rented. The manager was asked why he could not air up the tire. He responded somthing negative, to which I replied that a truck rental operation should be able to air a tire. He bacame bligerant and combative, and refused to rent me the truck, saying I was "out of line" or some such statement, to which I replied "If you do not rent me the truck, there will be consequences". He became loud and increasingly argumentative. I repeated my statement. He looked down at the floor for a minute, and then threw the keys to a 14 foot truck on the counter top. A lady clerk then proceeded to check me in for the truck rental.

PATRICIA JWell I dont believe the customer should be charged for a full day rental if the vehicle was on the premises since the evening before. I have no control when the personnel can get to the vehicle and check it in, tho I was charged for that full day.

Robert SI ordered the truck to be picked up at 7:00 AM, and called the night before to be sure the key would be in the drop box and ready to go the next morning. I was told yes it was. When I arrived the next day the key was not in the box, and I had to wait until 8:00 AM to pick the rental up. The U-HAUL also leaked in the top corner and got some of our boxes wet.

JAMES pThe windshield and front cab was completely covered with Bugs, so much so that I could barely see to drive it back home to load. It took over 1/2 to clean the windshield and side mirrors. Aside from that all was good. The desk person was great friendly and helpful.

Elizabeth DMr. Lonnie here at the Foley location was amazing! He went above and beyond in helping us. When we first got there he saw us struggling at the key box and came to assist us. Long story short In order for us to pick up our rental we had to go inside and he had to create a new rental. That came with its own problems because of the card type I was using. But Mr Lonnie went out of his way to call another store and get assistance in getting it taken care of! He was polite, professional and courteous! U-Haul needs more employees like him!

JOSEPH CJD was fantastic! Made a stressful event better and was attentive and professional. Whatever he is getting paid, isn’t enough. He’s a true asset to your business. Diana, on the other hand, assisted my adult kids. She was rude, uncaring and had a “I don’t know what to tell you” attitude when it was discovered their truck reservation somehow showed up at a different location, yet their reservation email clearly stated the address they were at. She had no interest in looking at my daughter’s email to confirm. And then when she finally got on the phone with someone she was telling whoever she was talking to that the people in front of her were “irate with her” which was so untrue. However, if I was treated that way, I probably would have been irate. No customer service skills at all. She was also more worried about showing them how to fold the U-Haul blankets instead of assessing and documenting all the damage on the truck they were given. And to top it off, she didn’t ensure that the U-Haul blankets were put on the truck, son in law had to go back after them the next day. They both had their hands full with an infant and a 6 year old, it would’ve been nice if Diane was thoughtful enough to make sure they had all that they ordered. Thank goodness for your customer service hotline with an incredible person who walked my daughter through everything when the link she received while still in the store didn’t work. Will recommend JD ALL DAY LONG! He’s a rockstar!! Diana needs to attend some customer service training or keep her in the back room folding blankets.

Madalyn MThe vehicle I was given had the worst headlights ever. I don't know how we made it alive. The front seat was also broken at the all the way back position. My feet could barely reach the pedals and I had to sit on the edge of the seat to be able to use the steering wheel. Literally 0 effort at maintaining the equipment
