Sits far back from road so I wasn't comfortable returning truck after dark. *** I paid for insurance coverage! I clipped the back of someone's car while parking! I'm trying desperately to file a claim but getting zero return calls.

Robert T.the entire u-haul was dirty and disgusting. The surfaces such as the steering wheel and the dash board were sticky. There was dirt all over the floor and on the seats. After we picked up the van we realized the tire pressure light was on. We sat on hold with u-haul for 80 minutes and then had to be transferred to roadside assistance and then sat on hold for another 60 minutes. We finally had someone come out and service the van over 3 hours later after picking it up. Overall, this was a horrible experience.

Had I not had my 33 year old son-in-law with me I would not have been able to handle the process with picture uploads regarding existing damage on the truck at the time of rental. Perhaps if I used it more and became more familiar it wouldn't be a problem. Thanks you.

And, for the return of the trailer, I arrived slightly before the facility opened. Jordan, the agent, arrived slightly after me but before the facility was scheduled to open. I had already unhitched the trailer when she arrived. She told me that I could leave, that she would email me the closed-out contract. This was very helpful as I was running late to get to a doctor appointment, which I hadn't told her about.

Clothes & furniture in the van smell like crap when we took stuff out - Not Happy!! Inside of windshield and mirrors were filthy. I had to clean to it to see clearly. Received van with low tire pressure light on. I checked tire pressure front tires - 43 & 45 lbs - correct pressure 55. Rear tires - 43 & 69 lbs - correct pressure 80!! I used small home compressor to fill tires, took me 30 mins to fill, which means I left 30 mins late that morning - Not happy!! We drove over 1,000 miles fully loaded. I hate think someone else might have rented and not filled the tires with air. This van should not have been released in that condition - unsafe vehicle!
Chris K.I may have missed something in the messages, but the day of my pick-up (which was honestly less than 24hrs after placing reservation), I looked for the two furniture dollies I included in the reservation. and they were not with the truck. Fortunately, the office had just opened upon my arrival and the attendant informed they had none at the time, so they were deleted from my order. I understand the situation, but a prior notice those would not be available would have been nice so that I could make alternative arrangements prior to picking up my truck. The experience was otherwise pretty pleasant. I must say though I removed three to four small items of trash from the cargo area (mostly in the over-the-cap cargo area), and the cargo deck was pretty dusty/dirty from prior use like a lot of wet, dirty items or feet had been in and out of it and I don't think it was even so much as broom-cleaned prior to our pick-up. Not real conducive when for the next user who is moving cloth-upholstered furniture that would easily pick-up the dirt.
Timothy M.Off road tires, a conveyor belt ramp, and an odometer that goes to 130 minimum. If you could work something out so cops don't pull over U-Haul's that would be great too.

Locked keys in truck on way down here and was going to charged - maybe the company should give allow two keys - one to keep in purse or hide in the cargo so if this does happen, we won't have to bother uhaul about it. Very horrible experience this time. Anthony is the worst customer service representative I have ever dealt with in any company ever!!!!!! I have used uhaul & Penske numerous times. Never again will I use uhaul.

Yet if I wanted the trailer when I needed it I could have paid for a second day to accommodate my needs. I am not the one who changed the reservation. Then I needed to buy the correct ball at the site. I had a 2 1/8 in ball, and I needed a 2". It took me a lot of digging to find that on the website. Cost from U-Haul 32.99+ tax. Cost at every other retailer in the area $14.99-$19.99. but I had no choice. Very disappointed in the experience.
