Sales associate was extremely rude, discourteous and unpleasant. His demeanor and negative personality made the rental experience difficult and awkward. I would not recommend this rental site to anyone.

CHARLENE SI was charged for an insurance, and later found out it was optional. The person who I rented the uhaul from was rude and never explained this to me or I would have opt. Out of this insurance. They advertise $19.99 and was charged of$ 60 bucks. I would not recommend this place, I won't be renting from uhaul again and would not recommend them.
JASON JCharlie was very rude. And charged my 87$ for 4 hours without any explanation as to why. Would not recommend

DARRELL PThe drop off was just that - a parking lot and key drop box. We filled the gas tank but the truck didn’t have a locking cap so anyone could go to the lot and drain the tanks of every truck there and we’d have no way to prove we left the truck with a full tank.

Arrigo CBoth locations are helpful.i would recommend a point of sale on location.a terminal to speed up the process relying on phones or a store to be open is a bad business move.would recommend a self service terminal that releases keys upon purchase drop off would be better if the terminal sensed the key and locked the key up when service is completed.if a customer is going to pay upwards of 700 to rent a truck make service more simple moving is headache enough for customers who rely on haul being another hurdle is bad for business
Robert SIt was very complicated to use your self pickup. Either the web site was having issues I’m not sure but the process needs improvement. The woman at the desk was super helpful to us. We were not able to get our vehicle till almost 9:20.

David NPurposely charged for cleaning and an extra day and there is no question both of those charges are completely false. I know you at UHaul will read this and think the customer is making it up but there are two things you need to know with the first being I have proof the truck was 100% clean and the second being I have proof the truck was returned long before it was due and also a second witness who was actually there at the return. I did these things because I have had trouble at this location before because the manager of that location, Charlie is one of the worst human beings I've ever had the displeasure of encountering. This is not just my opinion, but the opinion of several of your other customers according to your own review system, but you at UHaul willfully ignore this fact and continue to let him rent your trucks and do these types of vindictive childish acts on your customers, which says far more about you than him. Charlie isn't going to change, but you can change locations. How long will you let this continue?
JOEL BI was told i could pick where i dropped carrier off. When i called in to tell them i picked a spot near my summer place the man on the 800 # they told me to call was an butt head. I finally had to yell at him and say. Im the customer and this is where im dropping it not what your text said. The gal at drop place was very helpful.

I will be filing a formal complaint with U-Haul and sending a letter with pictures directly to the CEO.
PAT Bi was over charged. i spoke to the office and stated i was having an issue with the app. i was told that it was not needed and she would check me in herself. i told them that the gas gauge was not on 3/4 it was 5/8. i was told to take a pic and return it on 5/8 which i did. now i am being told i owe late fees and gas fees. do not use this location. i spoke to them and they said they would not change anything
Vincent GWe rented the uhaul from Saturday through Monday, for a move from myrtle beach sc to Jacksonville nc, the woman put in her system it was to be returned Sunday by 10:30 a.m., after we specified and she confirmed that it was to be through Monday.. I feel like this was intentionally done to charge the hell out of us in late fees etc... cab also had some sort of spider in it that bit me several times, bites began to turn black and look similar to those of a widow spider...

William BThe guy at the front desk lied to me, he charged me for insurance without asking me. When I confronted him about it he said I would have to deal with it when I dropped it off which was another lie. Very dissapointing I was charged for something I did not want.
Matthew MI had to ask the man to stop yelling at me. He was mad at me because upon pick up of the trailer (in CA) that I uploaded pictures to ensure I would not be charged for any scratches or marks on the trailer. He said “what the f* am I seeing as scratches in the dark a* picture. I started crying and asked him to stop yelling then he was rude the entire duration of checking the trailer. Horrible experience.

brian mTabitha was absolutely grrrrrreat over the phone. Her customer service was great. However, "the manager" the guy we spoke to on Saturday morning was not very personable. He was very direct & matter of fact and seemed quite lazy. We had to go back into the store to ask him to send the text message to confirm picking up the truck, then we noticed some scratches on the truck that was not including in the pictures. We go back into the store and it states, if it's not a busted tire or something like that it's fine. You're good to go! So we left! The other concern is the process of signing the truck back in was RIDICULOUS! It is too much information needed and it takes too long, which NOONE told us about. My overall experience for this Uhaul location, on a scale of 1-5, 5 being the highest, I rate it a (2) average as I selected in the 1st question. Your location needs lots of work.

Donald KI rented box truck , they said it had 7/8 tank of gas , it had only 3/4. I drove truck for 20 miles. And put gas back in it for 3/4 of tank . They charged me for 4 gallons of gas /20$. How can they charge me for 4 gallons when I put gas in back to where it was when I rented . And how can I use 4 more than 4 gallons to drive less than 20 miles. I expect a refund for my gas money . U haul is not very honest in my opinion

gerald HI talked to the location prior to arriving letting them know I was going to be a few minutes late due to horrible weather. When I arrived he said that I had ruined his day. He was very angry and rude and proceeded to charge me an additional $70 because I was 2 hours late even though he didn’t need the truck.
