This lady was the so rude to my aunt, she came in to ask if this was the correct place to leave the key to the truck, this lady never said good morning, how can I help you nothing? and she never looked up at her ands answered her question with a rude unconcerned voice yep, she asked do I give the keys to you, the lady without lifting her head said again in a rude voice yep, my aunt walked out but not before she said the word RUDE so that the lady could hear her, my aunt then came out of the building while I parked the truck and said I am not going back into that place she was extremely rude. I went into the trailer and give her the key, I asked did I get any paperwork for Turning it in she said they will email me. I then left the trailer.

Associate Customer service was unacceptable she made me feel like I was beneath her. She talked to me like I was irrating her. I did not feel welcome or felt like my business was appreciated I will never come back to this location again.. I will also recommend others to not waste their time visiting this location I’m very unsatisfied with how she made me feel

Nothing to improve on BUT Mrs. Linda is one FABULOUS lady! From the time we walked in the door she was very polite and kept us laughing! I love customer service like what she displayed and if I need another truck from this location I hope I get to rent it from Mrs. Linda!!! She is oh soooo GOOD!!!

The location itself was fine, but the whole U-Haul system and app went down during the time I was supposed to pick my truck up. Even though I was supposed to do mobile pickup, I was there during business hours and they still weren’t able to help me. I had to leave and come back about 4 hours later.

The rental was not ready when I arrived at 9am. Only one person in the office at the time and they were helping another customer. A second employee arrived and I was told they had to check in the vehicle before I could take it. By the time they checked it in and gave me a copy of the rental agreement it was 9:22am. I then drove to my storage unit to begin moving and when I opened the back the rented furniture dolly was not in the truck. I had to return to the rental location to get it further delaying my move. By the time I got back and started moving it was 10am, an hour was lost due to the management of this rental location.

The customer service was horrible! The woman at the counter did not make eye contact. The equipment that I rented was not available. She told me to take the appliance dolly instead of the furniture dolly, stating “It’s better than nothing.” My questions were not well received. The truck was perfect! The person was awful.

The mobile check in is terrible. Why are we finding the truck, then getting to key, and then returning to the truck? Get the damn keys first. If there are issues or the truck is blocked it will allow have to be fixed anyway. The extra running around make an already stressful time more taxing.

It was a little daunting trying to navigate the rental process without any person to help, I had to download the uhaul app. But all in all it went well. I was charged more than I thought I would be. About $20 more than I thought, but I still had a decent experience.

Customer service, some people you have working at that location are not friendly at all . To much complaining about things that other customers have been doing that they don’t like and they express that to me every time I have picked up a truck. Not my problem I do what I say I will do and I have done that. I tell them I will pick up my rental with in a 30 minute window and I have returned it when I told them I would if that’s not good enough I don’t have to rent from there but it’s convenient. These few people need training in customer service

There was no hospitality. I didn’t feel welcomed at any point of being there. I would’ve rather not collect/drop off the U-Haul keys in person; using your mobile phone for the complete process is better if you would love to continue having a nice day. Other than that the U-Haul was in good condition and I was able to do what I needed to do in a timely manner.

They didn’t have any of the equipment I had reserved and no one let me know until I was there. The lady completing the reservation complained the whole time that they weren’t supposed to make reservations at 8 am.

The lady in charge seemed to be more interested in the storage units they run than our truck. We went in and told her the truck was to small, she just said " That's all we have. The uhaul in downtown Winston Salem was very helpful and took very good care of our needs. We have been very happy with uhaul thru the years. Thank you very much.

Lady was extremely rude when I went in after booking online and was instructed to walk and and pick up keys on the wall. She rudely told me they don’t do that and preceded to have a huge attitude and then told me everything else I had also reserved and already paid for , they don’t have . A dolly and packing blankets . Refused to print off a receipt after changing the things they didn’t have in stock . Would not recommend

Work on better customer service. The front desk lady was snarky and rude. Make sure rented equipment that’s booked prior to pickup is in the rental vehicle. Customers should not have to transport their handtrucks to their rental, these things should already be set up in the back of the truck.

I did not receive my furniture or utility dolly and the storage place I picked the truck up from did not have any on site. Instead they gave me an appliance dolly that I couldn’t even use.

There was no way to turn headlights on/off as the controls had been removed from the truck. The Service Tire Pressure System message was on the entire time as was the tire pressure sensor. This is an indication of the tire sensors in the tires themselves going bad and needing to be replaced. When driving, as you accelerate, the air conditioner would turn off and quit blowing cold air for a couple of minutes and then come back on again. I had reserved a dozen of the furniture pads (and paid for them) and there were none in the truck. The inside of the windshield was disgusting as was the steering wheel. I actually wore work gloves to drive the entire time.

Grace the manager and her Associate was Great, along with showing empathy and compassion. For my sister and best friend had died and I was moving to a new home. There seemed to be a surprise when I arrived with the truck to drop off. I had contacted the regional office and they were to notify the drop off location. Apparently the drop off location had not received the news at that point that I was arriving with a truck to drop off.

My initial contact was great! My second communication was to question what to do if the driver wasn't me and was met with attitude as if I was asking the craziest question in the world (I'm 5'1" and don't drive 20' trucks). She said, "I guess just have them give us your name. She also asked when it was being picked up (which she should've known) and when I told her she acted like that was a problem as well. THIS IS YOUR BUSINESS! When my driver showed up, he said that he had issues with them signing over everything and forcing him to give them mileage (which we didn't know yet and had already guesstimated). So they took the "contract" out of my name and put it in his without notifying me or him. Unfortunately, we then had an injury and needed the truck another day. I had to call Uhaul because this location was closed. I was able to secure the truck but they couldn't find my original order in the system anywhere. Basically, if I hadn't given them my driver's information, I would've been out-of-luck. I then asked Uhaul for a confirmation receipt sent to me and they sent it to the driver. I will never rent from them again.

Customer service. I used the mobile check in to “bypass the line,” still had to go inside a building and wait in line. Really no reason to check in with the app, considering I waited as long as anyone else would in line. Lady was not very nice.
