First off the people at 2550 PETERS CREEK PKWY, WINSTON-SALEM, NC 27127 were rude, told me “maybe if you were on time it would’ve worked.”(U haul reservations weren’t working, also was only 20 minutes late) U haul support and the people at the storefront told me two completely different things. I asked both if I could add an additional driver on the second day and not at pick up, since adding an additional driver through the app was not working.U haul support said it was perfectly fine, but the people at the storefront were very rude and adamant on me not coming back in person. They also never mentioned the pictures I had to take before leaving the lot, so when I finally checked my phone 5 hours later I was in for a big surprise. They only told me to make sure of the fuel when I dropped it off. The truck was extremely dirty when i picked it up, the “mom’s attic” was caked in dirt. Also my pick up for the reservation was moved 12 miles away from me, but no miles were added to my trip. If i didn’t make sure that they added extra miles I would have had to pay an additional charge.
aydan hI tried to use the app to complete my pick up and it froze up once it got to verifying my information and told me to wait for. Fortunately the facility was open and I could rent directly from them.
David ARented here before. Very easy and friendly staff
Vincent BI was given a vehicle without a full tank of gas and then charged extra for the gas. I drove 17 miles and added 3 gallons of gas. I was then charged for two gallons on my final invoice. The gas gauge showed slightly less than full before I drove and well past full when I returned the truck. I took before and after photos. I feel like this was unethical.
