I ordered an appliance dolly which I really needed as I was moving from a 3rd floor apt. When I asked the man behind the counter about it, he told me they didn't have any. He suggested I drive to another location to see if they had one available. He didn't even offer to call around for me. I ended up borrowing one from a friend which was not nearly the size I needed. Needless to say this was a tough move. I hope to never have to rent another truck but if I do, it won't be at this location.

A better picture of the location should be posted on your website so that customers know what to look for. My first visit to this location took me 2 u-turns to get in because it's right at the busiest intersection of Peters Creek Pkwy and there's no room for error

The location was superb. I had an after hours drop off that I couldn't get the app to work properly for. I called the 800 number for Uhaul three times, was told three completely different things, waited on hold once for over 30 Milan's no one picked up, and the last person had an attitude and said she couldn't really help, I had to call the site. Next morning called the site, Bianca had me squared away in less than 3 minutes. My suggestion is to get customer service operator that are educated on how to help the customer and not give them the run around! Three hours with your CS and nothing at all was accomplished other than me wasting more gas to drive back to the drop off site to try to get the app to work again. Three minutes with Bianca and it was done. Maybe she could help out with the CS training.
This was my first time renting a UHaul from this location. I usually rent from Marshall St location in Winston-Salem(and I have had zero issues with that location). My $19.95 plus mileage rental wound up costing me $69.69. The tank was on 7/8 when I picked up the van. I drove it 39 miles. I stopped at the Speedway that is two-tenths of a mile from this Uhaul location and got 1.9 gallons of gas. I confirmed that the needle was back at 7/8 and returned the van. There was another customer in the store so I dropped off the key and the employee said that she would check the van in and email my receipt to me. When I checked my receipt I saw that she noted that the van had 3/4 of a tank of gas and she charged me $12.75 for 3 gallons of gas. I called the location and spoke to her about this. She said that the fact that I have a receipt for the gas I bought does not mean that the tank wasn't at 3/4 when I turned the van in. I pointed out that I only drove 39 miles so how is it possible that I put 2 gallons of gas in and the tank was only at 3/4. She told me that it's a large vehicle and uses a lot of gas. This is nonsense. I did not use 5 gallons of gas to drive 39 miles. In addition to the gas, I was charged a $9.08 "rental tax" which seems to be a ridiculous amount given that my $19.95 rental rate plus my mileage was $46.86--that's like a 20% tax. I will NEVER rent from this shady location again. If you need a UHaul, get it from somewhere besides Storage Sense!
Could not find a lock box or sign to put the keys in. Tried to call but uhaul could not help. Had to just guess to put the keys in the mail slot of the building.
The Computer was not working properly and I had to stand in line for 45 minutes over my reserve time....and I had hired Moving help for U-Haul Rental and was paying a rate of $80.00 per hour for two movers to basically wait until I could get the truck rented through no fault of my own because I arrived 10 minutes early to pick it up and had made all the reservations on-line....I do not think this is fair to the customer because u-hauls computer equipment is not functioning properly.....I am going to check with other rental companies to see if I have the same type of problems that I have to pay $80.00 an hour for... Respectfully
First, I was skeptical about renting from U-Haul. I have been ripped off renting from U-Haul. The person that helped check me out was professional and the process was easy.
The employee was very nice and patient but did not seem to know how to use the software and had to make several calls to get help
Was initially told that my truck wasn't available, only to drive by 5 minutes later and see it sitting on the lot. Not sure if a management/communication/logistics issue, but I wasn't impressed.
Truck didn't turn on. Was not offered a replacement truck. Was told my refund could only be handled by one person who was not picking up his phone. I cancelled the service and have yet to get my refund. I had to pay three times as much as my booking without uhaul to make sure I could move today. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a moving company and the customer service is the worst i have seen in any industry.
Ensure proper maintenance
The women who checked me out were wonderful - friendly, helpful, warm and kind. Apparently the U-haul website was having issues so they ended up having to call someone for assistance to get my payment through. I know they were frustrated, but it definitely wasn't their fault.
Leaked on husband's deceased father's china cabinet causing wood to turn white. Couch was wet as well
Make sure representative is available and the customer is not waiting 30 minutes and having to walk the property to find the representative sitting on a golf cart with her feet propped up and talking on her cell phone. Also, equipment (appliance dolly) that was requested and charged for was not provided. Still waiting for a refund. Will not be using U-Haul again.

I chose the online pick up and drop off. It was a seamless process and very convenient.
Dropped keys off on monday at 6 to check truck in.the next dau uhaul called and said truck was not checked in very unprofessional.would never use again.
The price is ridiculous
I was not told about the per mile charge when booking over the phone... I would suggest a checklist for making reservations to be SURE that the customer knows this charge. The person who provided me the keys on Saturday, Bernard, was exceptional. Pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable.
It was an after hours multi-business location with no instructions or u-haul key drop box. I had to call customer service for guidance. Very inconvenient.
