I was not told about the per mile charge when booking over the phone... I would suggest a checklist for making reservations to be SURE that the customer knows this charge. The person who provided me the keys on Saturday, Bernard, was exceptional. Pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable.

Everything was ok except checking the vehicle back in. To make the customer take photos and do all the work checking the vehicle with no customer service was a definite strike against my experience. The automated system on line took me about 15 mins. It should only take 5 for someone to check the vehicle so the customer can leave.

This location was confusing. You really didn’t see a direct connection with U-Haul other than the trucks out front. No drop box for the key is visible.

Paid 50 dollars more for a single 7 hour One day 15 ft truck ...than i have the last 3 times i rented a 20 ft truck for 24 hour periods, Will not go back to same location again and will steer family and friends away from said location frome here on out!

To state that the receptionist is rude would be a severe understatement. I was in disbelief that she was a objective to helping me as she was. In the morning when I picked up I figured it may be a bad time as business was slow but she confirmed her hostile perspective once I returned the vehicle three hours later. The reception attempted to force me to sign the documents without reviewing the documents or the vehicle before I left the property. After audit of the vehicle I found a number of undocumented dents and abrasions. She would not join me for the audit and refused to give me the key to verify the gas meter, which was not at the indicated spot. The paper work and audit took approximately 15 mins which I tried to indicate to her at the time in order to correct the documentation but she refused stating that the time started when I walked in. At that point she stated that “I need to rent somewhere else.” Before telling me the pressure sensor errant. She repeated the discriminatory comment multiple times under her breath as I was quick to sign the documents just to end the uncomfortable confrontation. Upon return she clearly had an upbeat attitude with the prior customer as I was walking in. Yet she still yelled at me to drop. The key on the desk and leave. Due to our previous encounter I did not trust her enough to simply hand the key and leave. Once she finished with the customer she explained to her that she would be out shortly to meet the customer’s father. I approached her desk, at her request. I politely ask her to audit the vehicle with me to ensure I do not encounter any additional fees when at that point she turned very aggressive. With a swift stern posture she told me that I can either wait here until she’s done with the other customers. (she concluded their transaction. The customer asked if there was anything else in conclusion after which the receptionist also asked if there was anything else she could help with.) i then again politely explained to her that I just wanted to be sure that everything was appropriate. It was visible that she was growing more frustrated and impatient as she rolled her eyes and did an uncomfortable laugh. She sighed and pointed to a sheet of paper suggesting that I could self check in or what an undetermined amount of time for her to come back in and audit the vehicle with me. At that point I asked for her contact information and her manager after which she handed me a card and told me that’s all I could have. I simply wished her a great rest of her day and left the property. In the future I would much rather invest in a moving service rather than subject myself to such hatred.

I would improve the customer service experience. The lady running the front desk did not seem thoroughly knowledgeable about the information she was presenting. She also did not escort me to the uhaul truck I was renting. She simply handed me the key & told me to search for the matching truck. There was no specification of where the tag number for the truck would be located so I had a hard time finding the vehicle. Things could have gone smoother had she simply removed herself from the desk and showed me where the truck was.

i did mostly everything online so my comments are pertaining to that aspect. i enjoyed doing everything online because i changed my location, pick up and drop off time and truck size several times to see which would work best for me. i definetely like having freedom to alter my selections to see what sizes are available at different locations and pick up times. this is far better than going to a U-haul store and taking what is available.

Staff told me that the lot was full and they didn’t think they could accept the truck. When attendant told me I had to take it down the road to another location, I told her I was told to return it to the address on the paperwork provided to me when I picked the truck up, which is the location I was at. She became rude and unpleasant and yelled at me to just leave the keys. I asked if that’s all I needed to do and she completely ignored me. Very poor customer service. I’ll think twice about renting from uhaul again.

My entire experience with U Haul was horrible. I will not be using them or recommending them again. I made my reservation online & has to pick the truck up at a completely different location. The supplies I ordered were at another location & when I got there the man had cancelled my order. Because you can not purchase moving supplies from his location online. My entire experience was horrible!!!

The gentleman who was working there did not seem friendly at all. The location is occupied by two businesses and it was a little confusing to determine where to park. I got a lecture for parking in the wrong place and got another lecture because he had nowhere to park the truck we were returning. Not my problem! He needs a course or two on attitude management.
