Ashley VFirst when we opened the doors to the van it smelled like some type of animal poop... The registration and the safety check was way pass the due date.. luckily we weren't pulled over for that.. But other than that overall I would say it's alright..
John PThey should ensure the brakes are in good working order. When stepping on the brakes, the truck pulls hard left. This was reported upon returning the truck to the customer service representative and also the manager. Shocks need replacing too. We also received the truck with NO GAS. They apologized and said we would receive a credit upon checkout, if we returned the truck 1/4 full. This was unacceptable because we were on a tight time crunch, and had to stop at the gas station for fear we would run out of gas on the road. The customer service person said they were unable to put gas into the truck as preparation because it was against policy. This policy makes it very inconvenient for the customer
Roberta MFirst of all, you wouldn't over charge the next customer. I was charged a ridiculous amount for a 10' truck that was supposed to be $29.95 and the insurance of 15.00 and the mileage was 22 miles at $1.39 per mile. The gas tank was less than a 1/4 left inside of the truck. They charged me an extra $87.00! They said it was fuel charges. They didn't even check to see where the fuel was at! Also.... They had the truck in a dirt area on the bottom and they told me to go look at the mileage and the fuel on the dash, fill out the form and bring it back to them! Why don't they had me walk all the way down to do that before giving me the keys! Why can't they do it before they rent it out to people. They just sit there.
Hye-Lin CYour receptionist agent was very accommodating and professional. The equipment was well kept but the horn didn't work while in use. When the truck was off in park the horn works

Rachel GService was awesome. The vehicle, over all, was good. However, the passenger side mirror was a problem. The adjusting not was gone. The mirror kept turn outwards. I was not able to see any vehicles directly besides me. I believe that's an accident waiting to happen. Also the wiper blades need replacing. The wiper kept smearing.
Lawrance KThe people were very friendly, but the fact that they are located behind a gate that closes at 6 is a little frustrating. It would have been more convenient if I could have dropped off the truck in the evening when I was done instead of before work the next day.

Derrick PThis location charged me for insurance when I put on my reservation that I did not want it and then again in the store I said I didn’t want it. They said they would take it off and then emailed me saying they can’t take it off per U-Haul policy. Very disappointed in the shady business practice.

Lillioukalani EIf customer request hardcopy receipt of truck rental, this means the staff needs to complete return process of actually checking mileage and fuel level at time of return. Customer prefers to know the exact amount being charge to credit card to be able to detect suspicious activity on credit card account. Unfortunately, UHAUL rental on Oahu is a monopoly against individuals residents.
Walton AThe truck was infested with roaches at various stages of life which tells me that the truck has been infested for quite some time. Luckily for me, I was not moving any furniture or household items or I would have been livid & stuck paying an exterminator to rid my home of roaches! They definitely need to have their fleet sprayed & decontaminated. Not cool at all. Also the truck was past due for an oil change. However, the staff was super nice & helpful.

One lady was on the phone trying to book flights for her family for vacation and the other lady was upset because the guy left work early and didn’t clean the truck so she had to do it. The A/C didn’t work most of the time either. I let them know about that when I turned the truck back in. I asked if there was anything else they needed from me and she said no, and I was already billed and that was all. Today I got charged another $40. I’m disappointed with the customer service and quality of the truck for what I was charged.

Ting JAfter my reservation was confirmed and guaranteed for a 20’ truck rental, arriving to location I was told they had no truck and I wasn’t able to have one I was guaranteed. After receiving a smaller truck for only 10 dollars less I proceeded to my home where upon enter the container I rolled my ankle from a square that was caved in on the floor. I continued to hurt my ankle from the square as well as my moving team. If it costs 1.79 per mile for any truck it is not correct to only charge 10 less for a larger truck. When the space would have save me nearly 18 extra miles or 32.22 dollars. I am thoroughly unimpressed and will not be using U-Haul again and will return to using Home Depot. The truck also had a ticking in the motor and a smashed mirror. Was not up to standards for the price paid.

Moni AI took the U-Haul at 1/2 tank, and was handed a document indicating how many gallons to put in the vehicle depending on which gas line it was at. I don’t know if this was intentional, but the line indicated I needed to add 18 gallons of fuel to get it back to 1/2 tank. Instead of a half tank that put it on full at over $90 out of my pocket. I was still charged the normal rate although I was lied to and tricked into filling the tank.
LEWIS SVehicle took over 20 min to get started the second day of my rental. A/C would randomly stop working.
