The people at this location were very helpful and friendly, they provided us with a truck quickly through a Uhaul rep due to a bad situation that had nothing to do with them. The truck they had provided had just been turned in and was not checked out, again not their fault due to the Uhaul rep renting out the truck over the phone with me. I would definitely recommend this location for Uhaul rental. But at this time I am not happy with the Uhaul company.

I'm generally scatter brained and chatty. They were friendly, patient and kept me focused. This office made everything from A to Z so simple. They took care of me like I was their Ohana. Ernest SThe truck had old beverage bottles inside and clearly hadn't been cleaned out in a while. The truck also didn't seem to be well maintained, in that during the rental period the car malfunctioned. After a 15 minute drive and being done loading and unloading the truck for the night the car would not shift into park and the parking brake would not engage. I called roadside assistance who sent a tow truck to pick up the rental truck from me. For the next three days I was called by representatives to return the truck, even though it was no longer in my possession and I had informed them of this/ I will say, I appreciate the workers extending the rental for me, as I was not able to return the truck after the initial one day rental period as I had originally planned to do.

Ronnie WRented a 9 ft van today and started as while checking in, the lady added some supplies on my list when I just wanted to rent a van and some pads. I repeated myself twice and took her almost 10 mins just to remove the additional items. Then when I entered inside the van, it reeks like a bunch animals been in there. Animal hairs all over the front seats and floor mat (I took pictures). Clearly was not inspected and cleaned prior (I was the first customer in the morning). Would not refer or recommend this location in Waikele to anyone.

Quality of work was still very professional. I will definitely do more reservations from this location when needed.

Logun MFormal Complaint: Mileage Overcharge, Insurance Refund, and Unprofessional Conduct Hello, I am writing to formally report an issue regarding my recent rental and the customer service I received when attempting to resolve it. I was overcharged for mileage on my rental, and I also used my personal Allstate insurance rather than purchasing coverage through your company. When I called to request a mileage adjustment and a refund for the insurance charge, the clerk I spoke with was extremely rude and unprofessional. During the call, she hung up on me. When I called back and asked to speak with a manager, she hung up on me a second time. This behavior is unacceptable and has prevented me from resolving what should be a straightforward billing correction. I am requesting the following: A correction to the mileage overcharge A refund for the insurance charge, as my personal Allstate insurance was used A review of the customer service conduct I experienced Please contact me as soon as possible to confirm that these issues are being addressed. KILLIAN HRead your receipt carefully! I was charged for 2 days but only rented for 1 day. I was on-time but when questioned about my receipt, the staff was unable to explain why I was charged an extra day. If I did not question the extra charge, it would have gone unnoticed.

Allen EI booked online for 9am and my reservation was moved to 10am without notifying me. The vehicle that the staff prepped for us (cleaned and put gas) was not rentable in the computer system for some reason. So we were given a van with less than half a tank of gas. The staff themselves were friendly and knowledgeable. Staff and location are the only reason we would use Uhaul again.
Kalei HI had reservations at Ukee St. When we got there, there were several cats feeding right in front of the door and lots of feces in the parking lot. I was told my reservation was changed to Waikele. I checked my app and it was changed, but it didn't notify me that there was a change, so I didn't notice the change of address, however, Waikele's customer service was great!
Brian YBox truck was kind of run down. I didn’t get to check it before driving off. The passenger wiper was falling apart and it’s been raining at my location. The Air conditions was not cool at all and could not make it cold.

Romell GThe personnel was professional and friendly. However, being charged $60 for fuel (less than 1/4 tank used) seems ridiculous, especially since nobody mentioned that it needed to be refilled. Being charged per mile driven I assumed that included fuel. This is a deceptive tactic. I do hope I never have to use u-haul again. Also, the seat belt on passenger side didn't work and the windshield wipers were worn out and dangerous during the drive in the rain. Be clear with instructions about the fuel, this is ridiculous.
