Truck is as returned using online check-in during normal duty hours because the office was closed. Very inconvenient to try to park a 20 footer at tight parking spaces due to really limited parking space at said location.

I don't understand the bill process. I payed in advance, my credit card was charged before I returned the van. I was charged by the estimated miles and not by the real miles that I have used.

Nothing. The guys behind the counter were top notch. I couldn't have been happier with meeting them. One guys customer service was superb! The other guy was good as well, but the one who actually charged my card and processed me was understanding and calm.

I was up sold on mileage that I was told would be refunded if I didn't use it then when I turned in the truck and asked they said that's not part of the policy because they're a third-party dealer. I was also told by extending my trip he could save me a couple days charges as long as I got it back to him by Friday at one. I got it back to him Thursday at noon and then he charge my credit card for 3 days extra and said ugaul policy changed. I returned the truck on three-quarter tank But got it on half Tank.

The online do it yourself system needs serious help. It took me an hour to pick up the truck because the system said i didnt have an account or a reservation but i had the confermation email telling me i had it. I had to spend 30 mins on hold waiting to get help from the service people. The system kept looping me through the same things but it finally after 3 times on the phone with the help person said i had an account with a reservation. When i went to drop off the vehicle. I clicked the link in the text uhual sent to "do my own turn in to avoid a 20$ convience fee." It told me again i didnt have an account or a reservation. I tried 3 more times before deciding i wasnt going to waist my time doing this stupid app. Terrible pick up and drop off experience. But the truck was good and healthy.

It's small, and they can only work with one customer at a time. Don't think you can get around that by using the “skip the counter” option. It doesn't work. BUT... the staff are GREAT!!! Very nice people. So just make sure to get there early and beat the rush.

I reserved the truck on the uhaul website via my phone. When I arrived at the location I had to give all the same information all over again. According to the clerk, for whatever reason uhaul software isn't android friendly. This was actually the second time this happened to me. About a year ago I had the same issue at a different location and was told something similar. The website boasts of having a shorter wait time if I check in online, but this is far from reality. Unless I just have unrealistic expectations of this particular service, if I completed all my info and checked in online, I should just be able to go to the location. show my ID, get the keys, and be on my way. Should take no more than a few minutes. Not 15. This is no fault of the location or its staff. As I mentioned, this has happened before at another location. Other than that, the staff was friendly, service was great, and the truck was in good shape and ready to roll.

UHaul corporate needs to create a better pickup process that doesn't take so long. I rent multiple times each year and it doesn't matter the location it takes too long. I don't see how the franchises make money. Why can I rent a $50k car and it takes a 5 minute transaction. My profile should be enough. Even if you need to do a credit check for me to have a verified account.
