I was supposed to pick up a truck and other equipment here at 5pm on a Thursday so that I could be ready when my movers arrived early the next morning. The location closes at noon for some reason, but that's ok because U-Haul has a mobile app that allows after hours pickup. Well when I arrived at 5pm and opened the app, it didn't work. It just said to call customer service. When I did that it said the hold time is 40-50 minutes or I could ask for a call back. I had to go home and wait. When I finally got the call back, they said the location had the truck but they didn't put the key in the lockbox. Would have been nice to know that before I wasted almost 2 hours now. So I pickup the truck the next day at 8am and of course there was zero acknowledgement from the people there about the screw up and zero explanation or apology. After they got the truck ready I found out they did not have the appliance dolly I ordered and again zero explanation or apology. They just told me to go to another location to get it, which wasn't open yet. Since my movers were already at the house waiting, and I wasted multiple hours dealing with their screws ups already, I could not waste any more time so I had to do without the appliance dolly.
