I dont like that this rates the location and not uhaul itself.The owner of this location was excellent, uhaul on the other hand was awful...I had a guaranteed reservation yet when I got there they had no trucks...there where no trucks anywhere to be had and I had already paid movers. Come to find out I wasn't the only one in this area that this happened to. Thank goodness Mr. Balusek at the palm Valley location rental waited almost 2 hours past his closing time to see if anyone brought back a truck. He was my angel that day as well as the movers who rearranged their schedule to get me taken care of. Uhauls renting practices are obviously about money and not their patrons. I give Mr. Balusek 10 stars for his caring efforts to right uhauls wrong...Uhaul I wouldn't give a star if you paid me. Because he only got a 10 ft truck back I ended up having to make multiple trips instead of just one which ended up costing me a small fortune....a 30 mile round trip ended up being more like 90. Totally unacceptable...not to mention I only had the movers for 2 hours so my son n I had to move the rest and I could hardly move the next day. I'll never use uhaul again. They don't care!Kristi V.

My reservation was for 7am and they don't open until 8am so I chose self checkout, by the time I got there was no instruction on whether I can leave my car here or not. I waited until they have someone show up, service was pretty slow and each person ahead of me took around 15min to process so by the time I able to get the truck is was already 9am. When I am back to return the vehicle and since there are no sign that says where to park my nature instinct is Park where I see an open slot. The person who worked there saw me parking, came out and yelled at me "no, no, no, ...! ". I was super confused when I heard him said that, is there an elephant behind my truck while I am backing up? Well guess what, this guy he simply wanted me to park somewhere else, OK fine please be polite!harvey C.

Overall, the vehicle was well maintained. Exception: Dash board light were not working preventing me from seeing the gauges at night. Bright light on blinker would not engage in the forward position. I was able to turn on the bright lights but I had to hold the blinker manually to engage the brights.Thomas A.
I reserved a truck and a trailer at this location 3 weeks before our move. I received email and text confirming my reservation. Which you would think mean something. Apparently a reservation doesn't mean anything. And that's it. I confirmed my reservation number address and the owner here said yea we see it but we don't have it. There was no help to remedy the situation. This experience make me consider not using u haul again.scott T.

UHauls website encourages pre-check in and pre-payment. I did both. I had to wait 30 minutes in the rain in line with several other clients. Then another 15 minutes inside just to â€œassist meâ€. I had pre paid reservations that meant absolutely nothing. You are propagating a false claim. Don't throw the Covid card because I am fully vaccinated. This was a very bad experience.Jerry F.

I was given the incorrect information about being able to drop off the rental at a different location......once I was done with the rental.Larry S.
We rented from the 1410 E Palm Valley Blvd, Round Rock location and waited in the office for about 15 minutes and no one was in there. We walked around back to see if anyone could help us and ran in to one of the employees, Chris, and he was absolutely the rudest person that I have ever come in contact with. I have never been one to make a complaint about someone, nor have I ever made a complaint about someone, but he was beyond aggressive and his actions were completely unnecessary. A simple, â€œwe will be help you when we canâ€ would have sufficed. It blows my mind that someone would act the way he did in a customer service business, clearly he needs to find a different job that doesn't involve human interaction. I will never recommend this place to anyone, nor will I ever be returning.TAYLOR P.

Trying to drop off the trailer at this location was a nightmare. The location was full and had barely any place to park the trailer. I had to try moving one of the trailers over to give room for the trailer I was returning and almost got into an altercation with another customer because he felt the need that he had to park his 50' trailer where I was going to park mine when I was there first. but after having a brief conversation with him, we assisted each other in making sure that his truck had space to park it in. After parking mine, I had to hook one of the trailer to move over so that the 3rd truck can park his as well. It is clear that wherever people are coming from and going to round rock, they are using this location as the main hub to return trailers and truck. They need to find another one like on 620 or even in Hutto where its only 7-10 away from this one. I have used this location before and seems like its getting worse. It's not this place fault, it is the one who are scheduling drop off to this location.AGUSTIN B.

Location is not bad, but the 2 gentleman working there just didn't have very good customer service. The next person in line was standing there when one of the gentlemen walked back in and they didn't acknowledge anyone in the waiting area, got on their computer for a few mins and the just looked up and said "you got a reservation ". That was it, no hi, how are you or sorry for your wait or anything. Not going there again.Alastair D.

I pre-payed and gave my driver's license and all information beforehand. I still had to stand outside in a line and wait nearly an hour before going into the office. During this time the men in the office were coming in and out and never once addressed the people in line. And it wasn't that the line was too long. There were 6 people ahead of me but it took them nearly an hour to get them in. I rented a trailer and prepaid by the hour and spent an hour waiting in a line. It was a frustrating morning.KERRY B.

This is not a uhaul location. It is a third party. They were not equipped to assist me in the capacity that a corporate uhaul location would. I asked about storage at my drop off location and they couldn't help me. I needed additional tools and moving supplies that they also were not able to supply.ALFREDO M.
