Very disappointed in the van. Half way on the road it started over heating, smoke coming through the vents and some kind of oil leaking. Called the office and reported while on the road and he told he reported this alreadyâ€¦if you guys knew this why put the van out there? It was very scary driving back. Dashboard telling me to turn off the engine because it was overheating. I have pictures of these. But guess what still had to pay. Make that make sense smhGeorgina E.

I requested a truck with a pack of blankets and appliance dolly. The agent said he had only the truck, referred me to a nearby StorCal Self Storage site who also did not have the blankets, but had the dolly. When we went to put the dolly in the truck we found it already had an appliance dolly and pack of blankets. Someone had already properly staged the truck for me, but the agent was not aware. I returned the truck the evening of the day I took it out, using the key return slot, yet it was logged in as returned 36 hours later. Thus, I was billed for two days rental and extra trip insurance. This was reversed after I brought it to the attention of the local agent.Paul B.

The previous UHaul renter had left mud all over the rubber floor mats (front and rear), as well as black scuffs the entire length of the passenger's exterior side of the van. The van ran great, but it could have been in cleaner condition. I was afraid I would get blamed for the mud and scuffs, so I scrubbed the mats and waxed out the scuffs before returning. The staff, Daniel and Terry, were both very kind-hearted and easy to work with. Because of Daniel & Terry, I would definitely rent my next UHaul van from StorCal Self Storage on 21051 Oxnard st, Woodland Hills.Jerry L.
Nothing I can think of. The woman running the storage/rental location on that Sunday was so very helpful and most pleasant to work with. She made the whole process extremely easy and timely. I was on my way in a matter of 10 minutes. Looking forward to my next rental.Richard W.
The gas tank capacity was wrong on the receipt and using your calculation caused me to fill over 3 gallons more than I should have at a time when gas is so expensive. I informed the attendant but he couldn't explain why it was wrong. Big negative.Wisam H.

This comment is about this location's management. My observations are: 1- Even though the UHaul website stated I could pick up the rental van at 7 AM when I placed the reservation, this location does not offer this option. I was forced to wait until 9 am when they opened with a live attendant. When I complained to the manager, Daniel, about this significant discrepancy in pick-up info, he simply said "yeah, I get yelled at all the time"! 2- I experienced a problem with the first van before leaving the parking lot. It took a long time for the manager to return to his desk when I was able to exchange the van and change the original contract. 3- The manager failed to change the initial mileage recorded for the second van and, for this reason, I was unable to use the automatic drop-off option via the UHaul app. The starting mileage did not match and, again, I had to wait to do the drop-off with a live person because I was unable to use the app.Neusa F.

My experience was stellar. This was the 4th Uhaul location I visited that AM. I was looking for a cargo van which Daniel also did not have available for me. However, he was the Only One who recommended I take the mini mover! The only UHaul rep who had the presence of mind to not live in the â€œNOâ€ Very sad statement. Think out of the box people! When I signed paperwork to pickup truck iwas told there was 1/2 tank. When I turned it on after signing the paperwork the was less than half a tank. Still returned the truck with over hf a tank to avoid extra charges. Parking lot of facility is being lived in by suspicious individuals after hours. the lady at the reception counter was helpful and fast at getting through the process. the truck, you could tell had not been cleaned in a Long while but that is not that big of a deal, your only using it for a short while. overall a good experience and I will be retuning to this location next time I need a uhaulLESLY W.

The guy who was at the office when we returned the truck was horrible! It was hot and i had my 3month old baby in the car. He made us wait 20min while he was on the phone and didnt even acknowledge us. After he was done with the phone call he looked at us and just said â€œyes?!â€ As if were bothering him or disturbing him. We told him were here to return a truck and he just said â€œwell where is itâ€. After he checked the truck, he went back into the office and shouted at us that if we wanted a receipt we need to â€œhurry up and get our asses over hereâ€. I told him he had a horrible attitude and was being rude and he lost it and started yelling at me and arguing. Even with other custOmers there w little kids. This was an awful experience during an already stressful day of moving w a baby in 100 degree weather.ANGIE R.

Only problem I experienced was that the system picked a different drop off location than I had chosen. Although it was corrected at the Woodland Hills pickup location, the drop off location I chose on Arden Way still showed the wrong drop off location. However, it was just a slight glitch that was easily corrected by the manager at the Arden Way drop off location.Dora Lee J.
