We recently contacted James last minute for a van rental. He was actually on his lunch break when I arrived with no reservation and in need of a van. He came back from his break and got us on our way. He is always smiling and so helpful with everything we need.

Was easy to find. Didn't realize the entrance was on the backside of the building but was glad there was a UHaul key drop off so it was a contactless return. The app return was also super easy friendly and great!

Give the StorCal and other locations, access/computers that interface with U-Haul central in a more 2020 type of efficiency! The folks onsite should not have to tell me that the computers are slow and to top it off, when I called the 'central' Go U-Haul number, they even said the computers were slow. Give these folks the tools to have a better experience for THEM. As far as James and Richard from StorCal, they are TOP NOTCH workers. They are amazingly polite, understanding, patient, efficient, etc. All good on their end.

Truck was extremely dirty. Gas tank was not full. No spare tire. We had a flat tire on the freeway in an extremely dangerous situation. Our move was delayed by several hours due to this breakdown. We returned the truck with more gas in it that we received the truck in. I feel we should receive some sort of credit on our bill due to this horrible experience.

Be polite and compassionate to customers when they return rentals and try to help UHAUL out by reporting vehicle condition and maintenance issues. Upon returning this last rental, I tried to report two key issues - one of which is safety related. The attendant was disrespectful and blew it off as IT IS A RENTAL, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT? I don't usually receive this type treatment from UHAUL.

They didn't have the dolly that I reserved and gave me a heavy furniture one instead. It was to heavy to use even once so i had to carry everything myself by hand.

Location switch the night be for, they sent me to a closed location, forgot my dolly, then 10hrs into a road trip the passengers window blew out all over my friend and cut his finger open then had to finish 5 hr drive without a window and covered in glass shards

Make sure there is a number to call at all times for the location! This is very important on days when people are not in the office

On the online chat support, the system should let rep know location of customer, lot, and weather there is a local rep available or not. They referred me to the attendant and lot was closed! Sunday! I had to go to another lot and process my reservation there. That took me longer than expected altering my moving plans. Hope you can improve to better serve future customers. Thanks William Ramirez

Drop off was great! It would be great though if you provide an incentive to customers who return their equipment on the same day it was rented when the rental period was two days. Your company can turn around and rent the truck, making a double profit on equipment that wasn't even supposed to be returned yet. So, an incentive of % refund on rental would be a good way to motivate customers to get the truck back quickly. Or, provide in town rates when renting trucks even if the drop off is a different town.
