Terrible customer service, facility was closed when I went to pick it up. Pick up scheduled for 4p arrived at 350, they were closed so I had to come back in the AM and pick up the truck which put us way behind schedule. Woman at the facility was not at all friendly or apologetic about not having been there. I simply said I had a small complaint, she said she was the only person that works there and she makes her own hours. I pointed out that the posted hours were u too four and she said â€œI'm not going to argue this with youâ€.Joshua D.

It was nice to be able to interact with a live person for the rental and also the fact they had the vehicle we needed available without sending us 30 miles out of our way. Customers who are sent to other Locations that they did not choose to pick up a vehicle should not be charged that mileage.Samantha C.

Pick up location change night before had to drive out our my way for truck , Reserved a 26 footer to move my house when I got to the rental place they only had a 15 footer I paid for laborers to do the moving and had to pay an extra $400 because we had to make three trips because the size of truck ! Not only should I be reimbursed for my rental I should be reimbursed for the extra $400 I had to spend for the men to do my move because you cannot supply me with the truck that I reserve two weeks in advance totally unsatisfied someone should call me and make good for the damage dead to me 631-745-1470 please give me a callPaul M.

Service was excellent and informative. Vehicles are well maintained and clean. Only problem I had was I put 17 miles on the cargo van and I refilled with gas and put near 7 gallons to fill vehicle. I'm sure vehicle was not previousy topped off and gets better than 2+ mpg.LARRY D.

I'm sent an email requesting my experience with U-Haul, so here it is. Dec 27th. I rented a 15-footer and had an uneventful experience from Nort Port Fl. where I picked it up to Charleston SC (Wappoo Rd.) Staff at both ends were totally outstanding. The Jan 11th. rented 15-footer is a bad story, from collecting in Venice to drop off on Johns Island, SC., although the lady behind the counter was totally outstanding. In Venice, the wrong designated pick-up site, had an uncooperative agent who charged me $10 for a dolly that was ordered and not in truck. Stated he did not have any to rent. Johns Island claims ($22.78 was charged to my credit card.) I returned the truck without meeting the Â¾ full gas level and this I dispute, since I went to a great deal of trouble making sure this mark was adhered too, just as I did with the Dec 27th. rental. I'd like my $32.78 back.JOHN D.

Did not have the vehical I reserved and I had to take something I did not want. Then you put a hold on my card and also chaged it. So for 4 to 5 or more days I will have a double charge. I call the 1- 800 number to find out about the hold and after being on the phone for a long time they took my number to call me back. When they called me back when I selected #1 to talk now I got hung up onMargaret C.

When I returned the truck, the office was closed. I was to use a link you sent me to do the truck return online. I had my location services turned on yet the website was not able to identify my location. I tried multiple times. That was a frustration.FRANK S.
I was able to pick-up early on a weekend when this location was closed using the online truck share 24/7 website. Overall easy no-contact check-out and check-in procedures with one hiccup. The online check in provides the gate code, tells me to go to the truck, but then I have to leave the gated area to get the keys in the lockbox. Once I get the keys, the online check in does not provide the gate code again, so now I have the keys, but cannot open the gate to get back in. Please adjust the online check-in procedures or tell the person to write down the gate code. Thank you for an easy rental!Steve W.

Truck was not prepared with the rented dolly and furniture pads. It was a Sunday and no way to obtain them until Monday, which put me one full day behind. Online Chat was useless. Customer service took 2 hours to just answer the phone. WORST RENTAL EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!Kenneth N.

Everything was pretty simple and expeditious from making online reservation, picking up truck, and returning truck. Received prompt confirmations via text and/or email, including final receipt. Was very pleased to obtain a newer truck (only 5,000miles on it). So no worries about condition or mechanical function, though just a local move. My store rep was experienced and took care of my check-out in just a matter of a few minutes. Thanks! Can't think of anything that needed improvement.MARIE W.

Using mobile access was terrible! The app continuously failed: I had to log in several times, repeating the same information each time, including front and back photos of my license MY LICENSE IS STILL MISSING!!! I was also charged for gas---what was the .59 cent charge for if not for gas??? Overall, it was a horrible experienceSharyn L.

Truck was not clean. Neither cab nor cargo area. Only had 7 blankets when I had ordered a dozen. Truck only had 1/4 tank if gas when I picked it so I had to fill it right away. Oil level was good but oil looked like it needed changing.Mark W.

I was supposed to pick up my rental in north port at 8:30. Then they called and said they wouldn't have one available until 11:00am. I showed up at 11:00 am to find that they do not know when the other two customers were going to bring either of the trucks back. They promptly called the customers without a response. We waited all day for a truck and finally they called back to say that they still did not know when either truck would be back. I did have them check other locations and they said I could pick it up in Venice at 2:00. I agreed because we were in desperate need even though it added many miles onto the cost. When we arrived at the Venice location, they were â€œclosed until 3:20â€. We didn't actually leave with the truck until about 4:00pm, from Venice, which is miles out of the way. I had to add an additional day to my rental because of your inability to have a truck ready for me when and where you said you would. This cost me much time and money.TABITHA C.

Manager opened the store 20 minutes late. Could not get the password she was given to open the computer working. Fortunately a manager from another store was there to pick up a truck and was able to help me using his tablet. There were no moving blankets available which I had ordered. When I explained the truck was not cleaned out and everything was wet inside the cargo bed so much so that water was dripping from the roof and puddles of water on the overhead area and in the front of the cargo area...I had to wipe the complete thing , floor and walls included...the only thing offered was to bring the truck back and exchange it. I did check the truck before leaving the store, but had not noticed the water. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told he was too busy. When I returned the truck I stated I was the one who called about the wet truck and all I got was a nod of head from the girl at the desk. The person who had the truck before me should be charged the $25 and it should be given to me as that truck was totally cleaned by me...walls, floor and roof. Will not be doing business with Storquest again.Jackie R.

Staff did not know system. We chose this location due to the proximity and convenience we assumed we would benefit from. It took much longer than we expected it to. The staff was not well trained on the system. Everything was a big deal and we left there feeling uneasy about the process and if we should use this service again.Samantha P.
