I rented a FURNITURE Dolly that in fact was not available. I only found out after I checked inside the truck. I was advised to go to another UHaul location to see if they had one. I went there and they didn't have one. So I wasted over an hour of my rental plus mileage and gas which should have been for UHaul account not mineLeonard H.

reservation did not work. Pricing was not what was entered in the reservation. I had to return the equipment to a different location that was further away. The inside of the windshield was dangerously dirty. Even though I entered everything on the website during the reservation, my pickup still took over 40 mins. I was promised by the manager that the pricing would be corrected upon return. I have little faith, but still hopeful.Mike C.

Full beer can under the driver side that rolled out during stop preventing me from using my brakes fully. The driver side window disappeared after crossing a bridge with a pothole. Vehicle kept pulling to the left, which shows that it needed a wheel alignment. This is coming from a former Florida State Trooper who is very angry about his experience. When I returned the vehicle at 10:00 am on Sunday they watched me park the vehicle from inside the store and when I tried to get in the door to the store was locked and they would not come to the door to let me in. Merilyn got me signed up quickly and courteously, very professional. Equipment was immaculate and in excellent condition. The return was quick and easy. Merilyn checked everything quickly and painlessly even though we were running late on meeting the designated return time. We had a 1:30 pm reservation. We arrived at 1:15. A sign at the door said "out to lunch and will return at 2 pm". We knocked on the door and no answer. We called the number listed for the location and the attendant answered saying she would not return until 2 pm. We waited the 45 minutes outside, and she then finally unlocked the door. She had been inside the whole time! The attendant made a customer with a reservation wait 45 minutes so she could finish her lunch break. LOUSY customer service! She also didn't even give me a walk around of the truck, or check the mileage before I took the truck. I have used Uhaul several times, but this will make me question using your service ever again.Brett S.

I reserved a truck weeks in advance at a convenient location. The day before pickup I was asked to pick up a day early at a location across town. I was credited with an extra day so no extra cost. IO asked around and apparently there is no effort by uhaul to have a certain size truck at your choice of location, they simply send you to the closest truck of the size reserved. Really does no good to reserve at a particular location. The truck was clean, fairly new, and drove well, no complaints except for runaround at pickup.Scott R.

I made an appointment about 5 days prior to my pick up on 4/27/18. Made the appointment for 2pm and was told if I needed to pick it up earlier, I could. Went at 1:30 where a sign was present that said â€œclosed for lunch, will return at 2pmâ€ thought okay I will just come back at my appointment time. Returned at 2pm, no one was at the facility. Contacted corporate at 2:15. Was told someone would be there in 10 minutes. 2:25-2:30 came around and still no one was there. Representative who was the â€œAssistant Managerâ€ did not show up until 2:45 which led me to not leave until after 3:00 which made me extremely behind to move in to my new home. Was told by the Assistant manager that the General Manager was would credit $50 back for the inconvenience, as of today, 5/3/18, I have not received any credit. Contacted the store several times to speak with the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager about this issue. I am told they are contacting the store manager and will call back but I have not heated anything. I would not recommend this store to anyone because of how under staffed they are and unprofessional. I would appreciate if someone called me about this.BRANDON M.

The online pick up system was awful. It did not work. I played with it for about half hour, and then called the after/before hour phone number. The number did not answer. Finally after long wait time an employee showed up and help me find out were the key was. I will NEVER go through the online pick up system again.Amir B.

My reservation got mixed up at the first U haul location so they got me a truck here. I was told I would be getting a $10 credit since I asked for the 17' truck and all they had was the 20'. Also when I made the reservation I declined the insurance and was charged $14 for it anyway. I just feel a little nickel and dimed for this whole process.Heather H.

My initial reservation over the phone was completely messed up. They reserved the wrong vehicle, and at the wrong location. I was very specific of the size and location I wanted. When I arrived at the location they showed no reservation and when they found it at a different locale, it was for the wrong size truck. Thankfully they straightened things out and my rental arrangements were fulfilled, inspite of the operator at Uhaul.SANDRA C.

For starters I asked for a 1 PM pickup time. At the time I made my reservation, I was unaware that they would close the office from 1-2 for lunch break. I ran a little bit late on my pickup day and as a result I couldn't even pick up my truck until after 2:30 PM. This set me back for the entire day. There was an engine light on on the dashboard for the entire time I had the truck and the key didn't turn properly on the ignition. They loaded the appliance dolly in the back of the truck in the wrong direction, so every time I hit the brake it slammed into the back of my seat. The odometer was completely wrong. It told me it was 200 miles round trip to a place I had previously driven and in my own car it was 120 miles round trip. So I was grossly overcharged on mileage and there was nothing I could do about it. I was extremely dissatisfied overall with the service and at the time of check-in there was no apology for the mix up on the times and there was no mention of all of these issues with the truck.ASHLEY T.

I will not recommend uhaul to anyone, had a reservation for Orange City, Fl for a 10 ft truck, Received a text ,your truck is a 15 ft in Sanford Florida. Scheduling had no knowledge of, or answer as to why the vehicle I reserved online was not available.. Their attitude was basically "take it or leave" 8.9 miles to the gallon, Overall, another poor experience with uhaul and my last experience with uhaul ...PAUL M.
