Andrea VHaul trailer was dirty on the inside floor, and the exterior had dirt caked on the fender wells…overall the trailer was quite dirty.. It did haul effectively, so the hookups and tire inflation were fine..

Shawn DI rented a van at 11am but no body in Uhaul office. I had to come back at 1pm and pick up my van. I was told to return the vehicle at 5pm or 8am in the next morrning. inreturned the van at 10pm and dropped the key in keybox. However, at my bill that came one next day, I was charged $20 for after hour service! I called bit no body answer!
CANH TThey charged me for the collision, even though I had declined it on online. When I went into the store to pickup the van they had—perhaps sneakily—added it back on without my knowledge or permission. After I dropped it off and realized the error that I’d been overcharged, I called the location and they said I have to call U-Haul. And for some reason also offered the titbit that they don’t make money off the rentals so then I began to wonder was this an intentional way to make more money? Sorry to accuse without proof, but something similarly shady happened in my city with another dealer, overcharging customers in their car rental business. That ended with a police investigation and charges being laid. Please don’t let that happen to any of your franchisees!! As for the rating, whether it was clean and well-maintained, I would have to say it was dirty on the exterior, but it was acceptable on the interior. I think it was just muddy spring weather and they had not had a chance to clean the outside. Also, whether I would recommend to a friend I have to say yes because there’s not many convenient locations and this is the first time there was an incorrect charge so I’m willing to give them a second chance.

RICHARD SBe more accurate with online availability of trucks, I had to do a lot of runs that would have saved a bunch of money but I was switched to a cargo van.
Niamh CThis location agent did not behave professionally. When I came to pick up my truck, there was a lady first and my wife overheard he gave her the instructions to use the U-haul app to avoid the after hours service fee of $20.00. When it was my time to come to the desk, he appeared nervous using the system and when it was the time to process the payment, accidentally I removed the card earlier. He got extremely upset and he hit the desk with his hand and said angrily that now he had to repeat all over again. We were in shock of seeing his behaviour and I felt very unsafe, since he appeared not to be in control of his emotions. I apologized for removing the card earlier and my wife told him it was ok, since in the screen it showed the payment was processed and we saw the charges on the credit card. He did not even care to listen and started to print the contract and complained that now he had to print and the printer was slow. I asked if I had to bring the truck with the gas full and he screamed at me saying that I have to wait until he explains to me. He show me the paper saying I have to bring the truck with half gas and the code for the gate and let us go. With his behaviour, we were scared and did not feel safe to ask about how to use the app to avoid the after hours payment. I didn’t even sign the contract, if you check my signature is not there. He has to explain to me all the instructions or give me the chance to see what the contract says. I should have been able to read the contract and have the instructions as anyone else. Now I have to pay for stuff I wouldn’t have to pay have this person behave professionally and with customer service. He should learn how to manage his emotions, I am a customer and I don’t have to tolerate this kind of behaviour. I hope U-haul contact me back and make things right for me. I have been customer for many years and this episode left me a sensation that I don’t want to use U-Haul anymore.

GEOFFREY CThe truck did not have snow tires. I drove to our house to pick up a piece of furniture and immediately got stuck - it took me an hour to get the van out as it had no traction at all. I simply returned it without moving the furniture as it was not functional in any way.

MAURO NTrailer was covered with snow. I had to shovel at least 12 inches off the roof. . Had to do a bunch of shoveling snow to get it out of where it was parked.
ROBERT AThe cube van is hard to know what level of gas you are pumping in .had to keep starting it up to see and Guage didn't move until back on the road. The van was returned with way more gas than when we rented it .

FRANCIS MIt was very difficult to pick up the truck today, as the lock on the box with the key on the inside was frozen over and took a lot of effort to open — it took over a half an hour from the time we arrived, checked in via the app, fought with the lock, located the truck, etc., which made us late for the pick up of the furniture. Additionally, there was no way to get an accurate reading on the odometer, as there was an error message “service deterrent system”. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience. I have tried filing a concern via the website and even that form will not work/submit. This website is not user friendly at all.

STEPHEN CThe app would not work properly for me but I called 1-800-GO-U-HAUL and she advised me to take pictures of the van and fuel and mileage because it was after hour drop off. The equipment was great and would definitely recommend

JOHN PThe staff were friendly, the process simple enough and the vehicle worked great. I had only wanted a 1/2 ton but none were available. I think your fleet is too small in 1/2 tons and vans ... having to step up to a 10' truck a little big for my simple needs.
