Check in procedure, via the app was a non-starter. Reached a point where it just would not continue. Had to go into the office to complete. Christy (sp?) was great, got it expedited on a few minutes. Dropoff was much smoother. Overall average to slightly above.

The location didn't have an appliance dolly. The rep gave me phone numbers of other locations to find one myself. Excellent customer service would have found one for me.

My transaction went very smooth. I had been on the phone with Marissa previously a couple of times before I actually reserved the uhaul and she was very helpful and answered all of my questions. There was a uhaul right around the corner from where I stayed but I chose to travel a few extra miles because of the vip treatment I received. I stopped by one day sand Norm showed me the inside of the uhaul so I would know how much space I needed. Dan closed the deal for me when I came to pick up the uhaul. Because of the teamwork and the excellent service I received I would definitely recommend this location. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The online check in experience is horrible. We waiting nearly 30min filling out and providing information that could have been done prior to arriving. This resulted in us standing outside while it was rather chilly unsure if each step was going to take 1min or 10min. 30min later we were given the code. uhaul should pre-approve people who opt to provide license photos, pictures and alternate contacts ahead of time. That would have made the checkin experience MUCH better and a 5min ordeal instead of the 30min it took us.

Your phone is out of order and I have not received the emailed/text invoice you promise. Please call or text the invoice. I should have been charged for 39 miles and gas was more than I started with.

I wanted a smaller truck but was given a bigger truck for the smaller truck price. However I was doing a one way and was not told that it would cost the more expensive price if I kept it an extra day and a 2 day truck rental ended up costing me 150$ total. I am so upset about this. Never again will I do a one way local. And I will make sure I know what all charges will be.

I've been seeing this store a while. Even before the new people took over they were great. Easy to get into and out of even with a long RV. Making that U turn may require a small trip to get to the turn around large enough to make it safely. (Truck turn around is not to far (lees than a mile each way)

Actually the ad is very misleading and I would NEVER Do it again. I had already made plans and was committed. Actually to do I SHOULD BE COMMITTED!! You are charging for the day which is fine! You are charging for the miles at a very high rate that is not even consistent with what the IRS allows and then ON TOP OF THAT WE PAY FOR THE GAS. That is a DOUBLE DIP. You are cheating the public. You should either charge for the miles or the gas but not both! It does not matter what you say or do! You will not miss me and I will DEFINITELY NOT MISS YOU! James L. Phillips PS next time I will rent a big panel van from the LARGEST RENTAL COMPANY IN THE WORLD. ENTERPRISE! THEY CHARGE FOR THE DAY, AND FOR THE GAS BUT THE MILES ARE "free" That is not cheap but it is FAIR!

The truck was not cleaned out, AC did not work and transmission light on when started the truck. They switched out the truck for us. I ordered a 15 foot truck and was switched to a 20 foot one day before we picked it up. they also switched my pick up location. Then when dropped it off the zip code on delivery address was wrong and had trouble finding the location.

I was upset when I found out U-Haul changed my pick up to a different location but it worked out thanks to the folks at Street Smart Storage. She was extremely professional and a real pleasure to work with. Everything went exactly as I was told and I would recommend her to any one else that needs a rental truck. Best U- Haul in NC.

The location over-reported the amount of gas in the truck when I picked it up. I notified the clerk, who told me "don't worry about it, the gauge just has to be in the same level when you return it". I requested that she change the reading to 3/4, which the needle was dead-on. She said "don't worry about it". I returned the truck with 7/8 after putting 5 gallons in just before drop off. Now I get my receipt ( dropped off the truck off hours with the key drop) and the final receipt says 5/8! And they are charging me for 5 gallons! Outrageous. This seems to be on purpose to me. Either picking up or dropping off being wrong I could ascribe to error, but this was purposeful to charge me more money than I owed.

Excellent service by both Dan and the lady that was there. They were so friendly and kind. They had the truck running with the air conditioner on when I was there to pick it up, and that meant a lot, as it was almost 100 degrees outside that day. I was so hot and tired from weeks of getting boxes packed...that is was amazing to have someone do something kind for you when you are so tired, and stressed. The move was something I had not expected to have to do, so the cost was high for me in the middle of Corona Virus. Dan tried to find the first month of storage for the best price, as I am also renting a unit in the place I am going, as well as having to leave some things behind temporarily. THe move was complex and so hard....that their professional help, advice and suggestions were invaluable. I was too tired to think anymore. They were very patient with each decision I had to make. And when I went there on my second visit, they called me by my first name when I walked through the door. That surprised me. They were: Profession, very helpful, gave you a small town feeling of community and helpfulness you rarely see, they went over the top to bring the best price (knowing I was on a very tight budget). All in all, I could not have asked for me by anyone nicer or more helpful.

i was charged for fuel even though I put more fuel in it that it had when i rented it. I have tried sent a message about this issue and have revived no response.

I turned in my auto tow dolley on the 10th at 9:30 am as they opened. I was told I'd receive an emailed final invoice. However, I received an emailed bill on the 12th saying I turned the dolley in on the 12th and incurred extra charges. No one answers the phone, and the automatic directory is not helpful. Very difficult to contest the charges when you can't get someone on the phone, so I'll have to drive there later in the week to dispute in person.

Marisa was truly a remarkable. Her professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile to make sure I was safe and set for my moving needs was very helpful and pleasant. She made sure I had the most cost effective set up and she also helped me as a spotter to load my car on the U-Haul truck and trailer.

I Was not permitted to come inside due to “social distancing”. Staff still stuck her head out the door to assist my online registration and answer my questions. I really appreciated that. I would certainly use that location again.

The employee in the office , knows the business and she is very professional,answering all your questions and doubts. They are the only office open on Sunday in the area and for that we could rent the truck only for one day . Others ask us to rent on Friday because they close for the weekend , very convenient for them ,and that we have the truck To Monday . Three days !!!!
