In an attempt to check out an auto-transporter, the clerk was unable to get the system to allow my type of vehicle to haul a personal vehicle. (Thursday) Due to this error, we told her not to worry about it and we would book online and come back the next day to pick up if it was still available. (Friday) I made the reservation online and prechecked in, my only issue was the links sent for uploading my DL failed. This location seems to only employ one person. The clerk was too busy to service me so I called the 800# and the agent sent me a new link. Same issue. Finally, the clerk had time for me and we were able to get the trailer and have it back well within the 4-hour time frame we reserved it for. The clerk was very descriptive of where she wanted it parked, wanted to make sure we would have it back in time b/c she had a 10am reservation. The door was locked upon our return. The clerk came out and finally confirmed the return. Overall I completed my mission, however it took much more effort and frustration than necessary. I understand people get busy and errors in the system happen, however I can't help but feel as though I was being ignored and made to jump through hoops ALL for a measly $68 for a trailer for LESS than 4-HOURS. DARE, I mention I'm a person WITH pigmentation living in MOORE COUNTY, NC. 😒 🤔 😒Nicolette O.

U-Haul directs the customer to upload a copy of their driver's license front and back. The back photo prompt did not work as there was no hypertext button. Had to get the representative at the location to do it. Kinda defeats the purpose of the link that was texted to me. Also, 2 contacts need to be given? Really? The local business was fine but I don't think I like U-Haul's corporate changes. Will be using Penske next time.Christopher H.

No one was there during their self proclaimed and posted business hours. I called the number and got zero help. Super unreliable. If given the choice again I will never rent from U-Haul again. Also, there was a random $20 fee that I had to pay for without warning.Connor L.
Make sure U-haul is street safe and does not have Maintenance issues. Ex: wiper blades, head lights, brakes and emergency break beeping. No washer fluid. Out of alignment. Self storage is a good place but the truck was pathetic.Marnie M.

I originally was to pickup my reserved U-hail truck in Carthage. When I arrived I was told at the Carthage location that they did not have trucks. Fortunately the lady there called U-Haul and found me a truck in Vass. uHaul was supposed to call me to let me know that the truck pickup had changed. Better communication from UHaul would be an improvement.Gregory S.
